As far as casual dining goes in Westfield the Westwood is a couple notches ahead of the majority of its local competition. Providing a clean, friendly & rustic environment the Westwood definitely is deserves a good review. That being said I will point out that the mood or setting of the pub is catered for business casual patrons. Not exactly the bar you will want to invite your sweaty softball team to for a beer after the game. Also as far as upscale pubs & restaurants go the Westwood is nothing special when compared to upscale establishments in your nearby "city". To sum things up I would say "go to the Westwood, or not". Whatever.....

Some visits I have a great meal and some visits its terrible. Their prime rib is good 50% of the time for some reason. I had a ribeye there once and it was quite possibly the worst steak ive ever had in my life but the next time it would be great. Wait staff is always attentive and friendly. Beer and drink might be a little expensive to some but go to the Maple Leaf if you want cheap drinks, maybe at the expense of getting in a fight with a college kid from WSU.

This visit was for a funeral reception so my mind wasnt really on point, but the food was a plateful. It was tasty and tender. The waitress was warm and polite. They do not have Campari, so no Negroni for me. Gin Martini was almost cold when served. Olives had no pimento or any stuffing. The dessert was alright but likely made off site. This was only my second visit back since a horrific birthday celebration when they were a new business. I wish them well.

We made reservations two weeks prior, when we got there, they had no tables and stuck us in the bar. Keep in mind, we were 12 people, including young children. When I inquired with the personnel; they said it was our fault for not specifying we needed tables. By the time some of the members of our party got their food it had been MORE THAN 2 HOURS!!! Got prime ribe, the worst experience of my life!!!!! raw and salty!!! my lord!!!!!! O_o!!

The waitress was amazing to us and very helpful. The fried asparagus and dip were my favorite part of our meal. Our glasses were always kept full. My quesadilla had far to much cheese and not enough chicken. Also the other contents were far to large to eat comfortably, half cherry tomatos and long stringy onions made it hard for me to eat. Otherwise a great experience and priced reasonable. Will def return when im in the area again.

We went for lunch. The food was great and reasonably priced, and our server, Alyssa was really attentive and timed everything perfectly. The atmosphere was really nice too. Im only giving 4 stars because there was no host and we had to hunt someone down to seat us, and my husbands steak was medium rare instead of medium well like he ordered. Not that hes picky when it comes to steak but that could easily put someone else off.

seafood and American fare was good and tasty, good portion size, hostess was friendly and accommodating, the waitstaff Ashley was prompt and friendly as well as attentive to our needs for a party of five. A rustic setting w/ contemporary decor. upscale atmosphere with comfortable seating, pub-like feel. I would recommend a friend to eat there for special occasions or perhaps a romantic dinner. prices were reasonable.

Drove past quite a few times and decided to try it out one night was disappointed to see a proper attire required sign that left me feeling stupid, unsure as to if my boyfriend and and I were properly dressed to their standards. I thought we looked good but who wants to be turned away right, and for the fact that I even felt that way you lost my business...

Was expecting an enjoyable dinner with friends but ended up with a nightmare of a night. I ended up getting sick after eating at the Westwood and was up until 3 a.m. the next morning. Would not recommended this restaurant. Drive the extra few miles down the road and choose a different dining establishment that Westfield has to offer.

i would def recommend this place its pricey but there food is really good i tried there lunch and there dinner i had went there for mt reception lunch and i was so satisfied with it,i dont like to spend alot of money but for westwood i would anytime..for 2 kids and 2 adults it was about 75-80 dollars,

Awful dinner experience. Everyone at my table disliked their entree. Appetizers and lunch were not too bad for bar food but nothing to write home about. Definitely over rated, if your in Westfield I would recommend School Street Bistro or heading up to Northampton for a nice dinner.

Ive always loved the Westwood. I have not been in a while. Went lastnight and was disappointed to see that my favorite dressing (cucumber dill) was very watered down and very thin. It did not even taste the same.

Stopped for a quick bite and drink. Loved the huge bar, and the asparagus appetizer was really good. Friendly staff, would come back for a meal. Looked like a nice place to hold an event like a baby shower.

Good beer selection. Great food. Bar is a good atmosphere and the wait staff is friendly. Not usually a wait. Especially if you sit in the bar area. The bar area has a large bar and lots of high tops
