When someone finally picked up the phone I asked to make a pick up order for 1:00. The woman that took my order said it would be ready in 20 minutes. It was about 12:15 so I said I would not be in to pick it up till 1, so please have it ready closer to that time. I was told "She would do her best." So I walk in toget my order and there was a large line of customers waiting to pay for their meals. I simply walked around them and stood in the waiting area next to where the pick up orders are placed. I waited about 5 minutes before anyone even asked if they could help me. I said Iwas here for my order and paid the bill. I get back to my job and go to enjoy the meal and I have no idea how long it must have been sittint before I picked it up. The hard taco was so soggy that when I picked it up, the bottom and all the fillings fell out. The cheese enchilada was now so cold all the cheese had hardened and the corn torilla was crisp. Most awful customer service, totally rude. I will not be going back to this location.

I Have been going to this place for years and Ive always had such a great experience and most of that credit has to go to our regular waiter , Antonio. He is always so attentive and manages to get our food out fast without us having to wait a long time. Unfortunately , I am only giving 1 star this time because 1 weeks ago when I went in he was unable to serve my table and we didnt have such a good treatment. Our server was rude , wouldnt let us finishing our orders when he was already asking the next person for their order. We sat there 20+ minutes with NO drinks and our mouths of fire from the salsa. After that we got our food 45 minutes after arriving. To top that off we witnessed a waitress slap another waiter. That was the last straw we didnt even finish our meals when we were asking for a check and headed for the door. Moral of the story if Antonio is not your sever LEAVE.

Better value and quality than similarly priced places. Take out is flawed and the rest of my review explains. I usually get take out and over the last 5 years its only been correct one time. After talking to the store manager and explaining that whats usually wrong is entrees which include sour cream dont have it. I suggested they remove it from the menu on all entrees (make it extra. Id rather get less as long as its correct). She was sure she could train the staff to fix it. After 5 years it ISN"T going to happen. I cant be the only one. We remind them every time we place an order and they still havent remembered in years. I dont want to be a jerk and untie bags and unpack everything before leaving. Its not just sour cream and they forget other things. Ive given up on it.

My family has gone a few times and the food is really cheap the large combo can feed 3 people for 9 bucks. but the atmosphere is all bad! The waitress is slave driven and rushed! Took over 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink order. By then we where ready to order our food too. The waitress just put our food and drinks in whatever order and ran off. God for bid they give you enough forks or napkins. Goodluck trying to get their attention if you need something. I asked for a high chair and ended up getting it my self. Their management is very rude and has no customer service skills, scowls at everyone and is vary sharp and rude!! Avoid this place if you want to chill out and enjoy being out. Go here if you are starving and broke!!

Sad. Sad La Puente. I have been going here for years, but Im finally putting my foot down. This establishment should not get away with horrible service and horrible food handling anymore. I found myself making excuses for them. Apologizing to myself and friends, but never getting an apology from the La Puente staff. Slow, rude service is the norm at La Puente. Yes, the food is very delicious, but its not unique. You can get this flavor profile at La Frontera or La Fountain, and you should go anywhere but La Puente. The service is horrible. The wait times are inaccurate, and the staff seems terribly inconvenienced to serve anyone, ever. You will never get the whole enchilada at this place.

Ive been coming here for years and It was one of my favorite places to dine in until last week. Worst experience I have ever had and treatment as a costumer!!!! The service was horrible. The food was cold and I found a bug in my food and the manager tried to argue with me that it was not a bug. Has no respect for his costumers. Spoke to me like if there was something wrong with me being WHITE. The cashier at the front when I went to pay for my food looked like he was under the influence and smelled like alcohol it was DISGUSTING!!!!! Never again will I come here and I plan to report them to the Health Department for cockroaches. I know for a fact it was a cockroach in my food!!!!!!!!!!

Went there Saturday night for date night because I heard good things about this place but was sorely disappointed by my experience. We got there around 7 and finally had some slouch waiter, that literally looked like he just woke up, show up 20 minutes after we got there to take our drink order. Then finally when we got our food, which was a little on the cold side probably because it wasnt in the microwave long enough, it was almost 8:30 and there was a huge black hair in it and when I told the waiter about it he told me that it was a grilled onion. Well never be going back to this place, I think next time I want Mexican food Ill drive back to southern California

I went there with my boyfriend because we absolutely love the food. However, we were seated. after about 5 minutes we got chips and salsa. 10 minutes later the lady cleaning the tables brought us water. We waited about another 10 minutes and noone even came to our table to take our order. We told the cleaning lady we were ready to order. She didnt speak english and went and told someone something and pointed at us. 5minutes later still noone came to our table. We told them again we were ready to order. We finished our basket of chips and ssalsa and drank all of water and still no service. We got up and left. We will not go to this restaraunt again.

Zero stars. Legitimately the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I realize that Im from San Diego so my expectations are higher, but paying $6 for a smallish burrito with GROUND BEEF seasoned with TACO SEASONING and cheese is despicable. That is NOT Mexican food. Thats called southwest style American food. Dont be duped Utah!!!! This isnt Mexican food!!!!! So so gross. The ground beef wasnt even cooked all the way and we got WAY SICK from it. Please stop giving horrible Mexican food places like this your money. Go to Salazars close by or Victors Tire shop and Mexican food in west valley. Please.
