DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I wish there was a zero star option here. Since there isnt, please read the review. I drove a long way to get authentic Korean food and stumbled upon this place. Despite the poor reviews that I read about this place, I decided that I would go and check it out. While the food was mediocre at best; what really stood out with todays dining experience was the horrible customer service by not only the server but the boss herself. The portable grilling stove kept burning our food. And when we told the owner; she insisted that we werent cooking the meat properly. In addition to that, when we asked the staff to cook the meat in the kitchen instead; they refused to cook it because they were "too" busy. I should add that they were not busy today; as we were one of the first customers to come in on the afternoon. To conclude todays crappy dining experience, we were left walking out of the restaurant hungry with a hefty bill with a bitter experience from the poor service. I recommend that customers go elsewhere in the search of "authentic" Korean dining experience. For the money and the actual food itself, it was definitely not worth it.

이제야 이곳의 리뷰를 하네요. 약 몇달전 제가 방문을 했을때의 일입니다. 한가지 묻고싶습니다. 제가 팁을 얼마를 주던 그것은 가게의 서비스를 판단할때의 일이지 손님에게 팁을 강제적으로 지불하게끔 만드나요? 솔직히 고기는 다 태워서 나왔지 숟가락에는 뭔가 묻어있지 식탁도 기름기 때문에 미끌거리지 음식도 무슨 한국의 김밥천국 정도 되는데. 솔렉에서 이렇게 까지 불쾌하게 만드는 식당은 없었습니다.

Ordered a 불고기 콤보 (bulgogi lunch combo) today and was very impressed. The service was pretty quick, especially considering how busy it was for just 1 server to handle. The food was very tasty, quite inexpensive (I believe it was around $10 for my meal), and perfectly satisfying. The facility is very neat, clean, and has a good bright feel to it and the waitress was extremely friendly and even willing to answer my stupid Korean questions so they get an extra star for that alone. All in all, if you are looking for very tasty Korean food for a decent price and happen to be in the area, you wont be disappointed at all by Korea House. I will definitely be returning soon!

Excellent little place to eat Korean food. Been there many times! This is a staple for me, close to down town, and the university. I love the small but clean restaurant excellent food and reasonable prices. They are usually more generous with the side dishes and have a better selection of them than most korean restaurants in Salt Lake. The service can be a little sporadic if you hit a bad night, but that is to be expected from any small informal venture like this. Overall Id say they are very, very friendly, and excellent cooks!!! I recommend it.

I love Korean food and this is a great little place to stop by. I had the Galbi Tang (beef soup) and my friend had the BBQ short ribs. The soup was simple but delicious and was just what I needed since I think Salt Lake has turned into freezer this weekend. Ive been to several Korean places in town (I only think there are 3 or 4) but I like this one the best... the food is always good and the service has been pretty solid the times Ive been there. I always leave feeling they appreciate my business which is a big thing to me.

this was our first time eating korean food (aside from a terrible experience in LA), and it was not too shabby... we were greeted at the door by a pretty korean girl in glasses and didnt have to wait at all to be seated. we ordered the meat dish the waitress reccomended, i think it was called bolgugi or something. the food was great (except the meat seemed a bit too sweet for us) and it came with free side dishes as well. the restaurant was clean and the service was very good. we will definately be going again...

I loved this place. Would go monthly for lunch or dinner even before it moved to the latest location. Now, three times in a row, Ive been ignored and have been waited on much slower then other people that have come in after me. This last time, three tables were served prior to me even though i had come in before them. They couldnt even bother getting me a water. Its too bad as this was one of my favorite places to eat here in SLC.

Delicious, flavorful and light. This is my first time eating here and it was a wonderful experience! We were so impressed with the quality of the food and our waiter was such a gentleman! He was cheerful and could probably tell it was our first time and explained the dishes to us. We were lucky to meet the Chef and Owner as well and she is such a delight to talk with. I wanted to give her a big hug! We will be coming back!

Main dishes are a lot better with new management and you will be amazed with various side dishes you can enjoy. I especially love egg rolls, potatoes, sweet and sour cucumber, Korea pancakes, etc. I think I experienced the AUTHENTIC Korean foods! My favorite of main dishes are definately Kalbi and Bulgogi. Others are as good as those two. They are very nice and You will LOVE it!!

Great place to eat! I had the BBQ Spicy Pork and my boyfriend had the beef. They were both delicious!! They bring out side dishes as well that were fun to try and actually pretty good. I had never had Korean food before and I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be going back. Also, the service was great. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful.

We came here a few days ago, seem like the waitress dont want to serve us, this restaurant is stereo type to certain group or certain people, if they like you they serve you really really well, but if they dont they will start throwing dishes on your table, no wonder some other Korean restaurant get way more biz than this, this restaurant is our last option.

My American friends wanted Korean food so I looked online. This restaurant had 4 stars so without reading reviews we decided to go there. Yes, it was my mistake. Food was terrible and prices were so high. Kimchi was so old and four otherside dishes were old too. Should left when I saw there was only two customers on Friday evening. Wonder why?

My husband and I had never tried Korean Food and ventured in one Saturday afternoon. The service was prompt and the food was good. I left full and completely satisfied. I recommend the BBQ it is great. We loved the ribs. We have gone back twice since then and would recommend it to anyone. It is a child friendly and very clean.

Food was great. Had the Gal-bi short Rib combo lunch. While quite traditional, the variety of flavors mixed well & were very savoury, while the portions were quite sufficient for a single individual. Reasonable prices with prompt and attentive service, in a quaint, unassuming atmosphere.
