The service was a little brash, and my stomach felt queasy after eating the clam chowder. The meat tasted a little fishy, like it may have been old, so I threw out most of my soup. It was described to me as a homeless shelter soup kitchen and I do not disagree with that description after visiting this location. The food quality is very low, which matches the prices, if this is what youre looking for. Ill stick to other options when it comes to soup in salt lake city, and would encourage others to do the same. Not going to 1 or 2 star this review because I wasnt entirely surprised or disappointed, and Im a bit of a food critic.

An amazing staff with amazing soup and sandwiches! I only work down the street at one of the dealerships so its nice to know when I am in a hurry and need good food, soup kitchen is just a couple blocks away. My favorite is the cheesy broccoli soup. And the girls there are so cute! (:

For a place named Soup Kitchen the Pastrami Bacon Burger is really good! Good meat quality and fresh veggies make a good burger. Made when you order and it comes with fries and fry sauce! Make sure you get an extra fry sauce!
