Google askes me "what did you like about it?" and my answer is NOTHING. The only good part of this experience was the nice hostess. We were seated, then 5 minutes later brought waters from our waiter who didnt say a word to us, even after my friendly "hello!!" 5-10 minutes later he finally comes back around and says "Ill go ahead and take your order" with a tone that basically made me feel like we were being an inconvenience for being there. We order an appetizer of edamame then 4 rolls of sushi for our main course. We received our edamame 32 minutes later. Then we received our sushi 13 minutes later. Still hardly a word out of our waiter. The sushi was maybe a 2/10. Sloppy job and terrible flavor. I could have done a better job. After we were brought our check, we never even got a thank you, come back soon, Have a terrible night, nothing. Not a word from our waiter at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. Overall, terrible experience. Food was awful and our waiter needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. You couldnt pay me to go back there.

Went here with my girlfriend on her recommendation, was a little bit nervous when I saw that it shared a parking lot with 7-11and got more nervous when I walked through the door. We were seated at a traditionalish Japanese style table inside a booth and the sushi menu had maybe 10 rolls, and to me thats unacceptable for a sushi restaurant. I asked her why she recommended it and she said she just gets the crab roll and never even noticed that they dont have more

The Koyo has been our favorite restaurant since they opened. Authentic? Just ask to see the kitchen. I walked in and everyone bowed to me. The food never disappoints...and the "plunking" (what my kids used to call the music) takes you away to Japan...for a real getaway from the world outside. Reservations are needed on the weekend. You can get a private tatami room. Perfect for that first date.

First time eating here, thought it would be at least decent based on reviews but was disappointed. Staff was confused and sloppy (even though it was only 50% full) and the food was terrible. Sushi came out looking like it was rolled by a 4 yr old and the quality was not even Harmons grade. Lots of fat on teriyaki beef and covered in sauce that came straight out of bottle. :(

Best Unagi Ive ever had, bar none. I also had the special which was the sliced beef stir fry over rice and miso soup, which was also fantastic. Tea is spot on, atmosphere is awesome, servers are fantastic, although you need to get their attention if you need something, otherwise the best Japanese food Ive had so far.

We walked in and waited. And waited. And waited. And finally someone came when we rang the bell for the fifth time. There were many empty tables that we could see, but the waitress said it would be at least a half an hour wait, so we went somewhere else. The only way I would go there is if I make a reservation.

The waitress and staff is very friendly and prompt. The food is authentic and very tasty. We ordered the koyo and it was delicious. The only thing I would not recommend is the green tea ice cream. (the boyfriend liked it though....he thought it was fabulous)

Absolutely beautiful interior, very authentic. For little groups (2) or bigger groups (3+) the seating is anazing! The food is so delicious and the service is great and quick. Definitely one of my favorite Japanese places, will return :)

Warm, inviting, delicious. My boyfriend served his mission in Japan and he was nostalgic eating here. The food was great. The staff was friendly and genuinely happy to serve us. Were definitely going back to try out more menu items.

Food is good. Have had the same menu for a while and execute it well. Reasonably priced. No air, just a swamp cooler. Have private booths, long tables for large parties and an area where you sit on the floor but it is raised up some.

Awesome restaurant, really cool atmosphere. Alex was a great server and when we were done with one dish he already had the next one. We went on a Tuesday night and it wasnt busy. The AC could have been set a little colder.

Was a pretty hot day, and there wasnt any air conditioning. Not sure if it was broken, or if they just dont have it. But the service and food was great. Would have given 5 stars if it wasnt so hot in there.

Koyo is stellar, have been dinning for 15 years and you always know what kind of service (great) and food (just as great) that you will recieve. If you have not tried it (a must), make reservations.

My favorite place outside of Mexico. The googoobachoos (pronounced gyoza) potstickers are a must. My uncle Paka put this place on the map and all success is thanks to him. Enjoy!

Im sorry but Koyo restaurant is way overpriced and the portions are tiny but thats ok the food wasnt good anyways. They used BBQ sauce as their dipping sauce.
