The food was cold the muffins hard as a rock the spaghetti was mushy they have two different prices one for morning and second for lunch we got there at lunch time which is at 4 and the same food that was served from the morning was the food that they serve for the dinner which is weird because you have two different prices the clam chowder was good the chili was good everything else was very disappointing this is my second time coming I came the first time and I figured that the reason why I was so bad as cuz we went close to closing but this time theres no excuse 4 the food being cold and have to wait a long time for them to replace something it never got replaced never going back

The food is great always at Sweet Tomatoes. There seems to be a lack of training for wait staff. Both this location and Power Rd. The staff rarely acknowledges you and maybe 50% of the time they come to pick up dishes just before getting ready to leave. No Hello....if you need anything let me know...nothing...nada. Any other one in the country I have been to....totally different....they actually care that you are there.....very bizarre!! Its been this way for years......So if you dont mind that lack of something so basic and of course... no reason for a tip.......bon appetite!

This used to be a restaurant I frequently dined at but I havent been here for awhile. It seems the food selection has gotten smaller and the quality of the food they do serve has gotten worse. I consider season for some of the produce, but even the oven baked foods were not nearly as tasty as they used to be. The parking lot was packed, making me think it would be a bit crowded in the restaurant, but it was decieving, as the restaurant was not even half full. I will try again in a few months and see if they have upgraded from the food I had tonight.

This restaurant is self-serve, yet they tack on an 18% gratuity fee when you pay your bill (not even a large party, as some restaurants do, just a party of 2). I argued unsuccessfully about being required to pay this tip with no notice (other than a small sign thats literally under the counter) for service I didnt even receive. If youre familiar with Sweet Tomatoes, this restaurant is not the same (though its owned by the same company). Its re-branded Field Kitchen, and prices are mostly ala carte, not buffet. On the plus side, the food was good.

I will start by saying that I have a true love of sweet tomatoes. Everywhere I go I visit sweet tomatoes if one is nearby. This restaurant is setup a bit different, and offers alcohol. I loved the layout and the food here. If youre looking for protein this may not be your first choice, but if youre into salads you need to stop by here. Insider tip. If youre going here sign up for their email newsletter. There are always coupons available. Highly recommended if you like salad and are OK with casual.

Fantastic food. Make sure you starve for the day before coming in to eat here. You get unlimited food for $11 and your taste buds will make you keep eating long after your tummy is crying for you to stop. I wish Sweet Tomatoes had sign boards explaining how the entire thing works as the process of eating here can be unintuitive to first time visitors. The Salad bar itself has so many options that I didnt think there would be a completely different Main course section on the other side of the place.

This is a salad buffet restaurant. If you love salad, youll love this place, though, the prices are a little high. Apart from the signature salads, normal salad and salad accessories, there is pizza, bakery breads and deserts, pastas and soups. It can sometimes be a little crowded but the seating areas are big enough to accommodate. Their focaccias are really good, so is the chicken soup. They serve cream of mushroom soup on mondays only.

Good deal for the family for lunch or dinner. Find a coupon on line and get all you can eat for two adults and two kids for $30, including drinks. The food is fresh and includes a big salad bar, 5 or 6 different soups, fresh cooked pasta, baked potatoes (these are just so so), breads, muffins, and ice cream. Easy self serve, friendly service to clear your table. Good place to take the kids. Can get busy during the week at dinner.

This location on Southern in Tempe is so much nicer than the one in Gilbert on Power Rd. The staff here are friendly and helpful and the food seems fresher and the salad line is cleaner. Note: Dont visit the Gilbert location an hour before closing if you want to enjoy your meal. Thats when they start cleaning the dining area, draging and banging chairs and tables on the cement floor. The Tempe location is better for sure.

Easy and healthy way to eat when your in a rush. Ice cream machine was broken and no fruit or yogurt was substituted when they are advertising a big ice cream event. Place is always clean. Cant see any tuna or chicken in any of the pasta salads loaded w too much mayo. All theyre pastas cold or hot are over cooked and mushy. They could improve all their recipes but I go for the fresh vegetables.

Food is really overpriced for a fancy salad bar. Save yourself some time and money stay home and make your own salad. The $41 for three people was outrageous for what we got. My wife is a vegetarian and couldnt stomach most of the food. Might be acceptable if you have a gluten allergy, or have some really good coupons, but otherwise, the food was either tasteless or too heavily seasoned.

One of the better Olive Gardens that i have ever been to. The decor was a 10. The freshness of the food was a 8 only because they had spaghetti and mac n cheese that looked as though it had been sitting there a while. Maybe they should not cook so much pasta at once. And for some reason they didnt have Italian dressing. Other then those two things its one of the better ones Ive been to.

My whole family loves this location. We drive about 10 miles to get here and it is well worth it. The food is always fresh and superbly prepared. We are all vegetarian and some of us gluten-free. This is a rare restaurant that we can all dine at and totally enjoy. It is very clean top to bottom and the staff is also very friendly. Great job! to the management of this location.

GREAT place for soups. 7 choices here. Fresh vegies, dressings, muffins, foccacias, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, pasta offerings AND frozen yogurt with assorted dressings. Get coupons online at Club Veg. Senior specials M-Th from 2-5. Sr. discount if you ask. Kid friendly. Sometimes warm chocolate chip cookies after 4. What is not to like?

Wonderfully healthy place to eat if you make the right choices. Were whole food, plant based and this Sweet Tomatoes location in Tempe is the best in the Phoenix area, in our opinion. Best endless salad bar, hot potatoes and sweet potatoes, along with deliciously hot vegan soup or chili to choose from. We always use a coupon for even more value.
