Just discovered that Cowboy Grub had moved to the same part of town I just moved to. I had not been there in years, as I have been living out of state. Went mainly to have scones for old times sake... they were alright, but not as awesome as I remember them being. The strawberry sauce with them is a fabulous touch though. Also had a shredded beef chimichanga. It was really good. I feel like they used their pot roast in it. What a fantastic idea!!! Very tasty. I will likely go again, but there are also many other places in this neighborhood to explore!!

I truly enjoy The Cowboy Grub. The pot pie is not traditional as explained by each waitress and front order desk EVERY TIME I order this. Delicious. I am disappointed in the size of the bowl for soup, however, During the move the bowls must have been lost. If you take the cup, fill it, and then pour into the new bowl, you will have equal amounts. Not fair for patrons. I generally would give the restaurant ten stars. Fun Utah place to eat for many years. Im glad it is in my neighborhood. Chris, please go back to the fair bowl of soup.

This place is pretty hit and miss. About 1/3 of the time my order is perfect and delicious, 1/3 my order is wrong and delicious (but when you tell them your order is wrong they feel super bad, fix it, and give you free cookies), and today my order was wrong with mushy fries, no drink, and Im not convinced the onion ring on my burger even had an onion in it. I think it depends on whos cooking that day.

Thee are a lot of different kinds of people that come here, the people that leave reviews for this place are young and tech savvy so it doesnt get its full potential is review, being located in an "Older People Area". I give it a 100/100, I was 100% satisfied with everything. Service was fast and the food taste fantastic. It a home town family western restaurant, in every sense of the phrase.

For wanting to be country the lose big time..They do not know how to make gravy or batter anything.the country fried steak was weird and disgusting. The sides were fine. We bought a bag of oatmeal raisin cookies to go and the were too big and not cooked. Tinker I will open a country place to show people how it should be done! $79 for 2 people and we left most of our food there.

Great place and in a great location. Every time Ive been here I loved the food and the atmosphere. My mom has been going for years with her friends and they always love it. The chicken sandwich and western burger are delicious. Super juicy and they have great sauce! :) My husband and I will definitely be frequent visitors.

I love this place BUT... To add a trip to the salad bar to my meal was $6.99. And I ordered the buffalo wings, and they were very vinegar-rich. AND they didnt have wet wipes! I grabbed a Clorox wipe from the kids section! This dinner was unnecessarily stressful.

Your service is really bad. Soup cold, got order wrong, you have one waitress working the restaurant. This is my 4th time coming to the Grub. Everytime got order messed up. Wish you would go back to your great service at your other location.

The pot pie was horrible. Who puts broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms and cauliflower in pot pie. Food way Too salty. Mashed potatoes are instant. Only thing good was the salad bar. Hard to screw that up. Not impressed. Wont be back.

It isnt the old cowboy grub, but it still reminds me of it. The food is still pretty solid, but the all you could eat salad bar is missed. Still well worth an occasional visit for a good trip down memory lane.

I love Cowboy Grub! I worked there as a kid at the old location and while I miss the big booths the food is still great. Ive eaten everything on the menu and have a hard time picking what to get.

So so food. Taco salad was soggy and the teriyaki sauce on the burger was not good it really ruined the burger with a very strong poor taste. Corn bread and scones were awesome. Will not return.

The service was good, the food was fast, but I got a taco salad and the seasoned meat didnt taste seasoned. It actually tasted weird. My husband got a roast sandwich and he seemed to like it.
