This place is small. No one was there eating. (Wierd....) Usually a place like this doesnt have good food. But it definitely has THE best chinese food in Roy. I think it is WAY under rated. I was sad for a while cause we didnt like any of the other places weve been to in Roy. And its name throws you off. We got take out for a family of 4, $30. 2 dinner combos, sweet and sour chicken, Kung pow shrimp and pork low mein, egg drop soup and hot and sour soup. It was all very delicious. We finished about half of it and are completely stuffed. This place is one of my top 3 places now. My top 3 are the Mandarin Garden in Logan (best orange chicken ever! And tiny spicey chicken) China Star (best Kung pow shrimp ever) and now this place. It is better than the ABC Mandarin or any other place around Roy that Ive been to. They gave lots of shrimp in my order too. Definitely recommend this place. Will definitely be going here every time from now on. It might be a dollar more then other places and cheaper on some items. 5 stars.

Its tucked away a little from the main street in Roy, but worth finding. The owner (Sean) and his daughters run it, and they really make any meal special. We know our Thai food (we even make sticky rice and hot sauce at home), and we can tell that Five Star knows how to do it well. Weve seriously never had a bad meal here. Recommendation: Go for the sticky rice and hot mango sauce as a start. Very citrousy taste, with a spicy flavor that leave you wanting more. Most dishes are designed for the American palate (i.e, pretty bland), but the chef is more than happy to bring them up to any level of spice that you can take.

I went here today with my family for my eldest sisters birthday dinner. The food was really good, but the thing that killed it was my sister found GLASS in her drink. That wasnt right I dont think. Afterward I got really sick because of the food. I dont know if Im allergic to some of the things in it. I would give the food and service a 5 star, but after glass in the drink, that brought it down. The owner was awesome and the service was great! I would recommend it, but be careful drinking out of the glasses.

Outstanding. At this price point this place deserves its high praise. Ive been here three times now & its amazing every time. You wont be impressed with the location or how it looks from the outside, but trust me the food they put on your plate will be excellent. Egg rolls are off the hook. Their spin on Drunken Noodles is very good. Their curry w/sticky rice is amazing. Try a dinner - youll get an egg roll & a large fried shrimp w/the meal.

Arguably the best thing here is their Hot and Sour Soup. Its loaded with bamboo, mushrooms, and small bits of beef. Its incredible. Im a big fan of their daily lunch specials and their egg rolls are the best around in my opinion. The staff is very friendly during the day (unless you get the owner as your server and then shes nice but understands less English than Id prefer for a waitress).

Not bad. Considering the choice of mediocre, at best, food in the area, Five Star is a delightful change of scenery. You do have to make it to your taste but overall good flavors. Also the portions are a good amount. Two entrees, not dinners, was enough to feed all three of us till we were overfull. Also staff was friendly and brought extra plates for us.

Im from Cali and when it comes to traditional Thai food I big on Thai restaurant. Ill tell you what this place is worth every penny and great costumer service probably the best I had. I would advice to always tip the ladies they work hard. One more thing that just blow my mind which was the size of the Thai tea they serve you!!! Its gigantic!

Absolutely amazing! THE. BEST. Great customer service, fast and the most authentic, fresh Thai and Chinese food around. They definitely live up to their name. And for those Curry fans (I am a Curry snob) and they are fantastic!!! The red is VERY spicy and the Green spicy but not too hot. Make the drive, you wont regret it!

They use MSG still? This is one of the few Thai restaurants in this area, and as such, it is good. The very front of the menu does state that they use MSG in some dishes. I dont know why anyone would use an unhealthy substance like MSG in this day and age, when sea salt is so much better for you, and better tasting.

Horrible service or lack of sign says closed at 8pm got there at 7:20 and was refused to be seated the hostess was rude we did interrupt her meal though we went there on a first date 8 years ago was trying to replay our first date on our anniversary and was shot down thanks for nothing will never return

I have been here a couple times and the food is fair but today I went in with friends for lunch and we ordered and waited for almost 40 minutes to get our lunch. We decided to get our food in boxes and leave. There was only two other people in the restaurant so I dont really know why it took so long.

Customer service and hospitality as well as the price here at first i thought it would have been expensive for everything we ordered but when we got the bill we were absolutely surprised i loved the food as well and i have tried many restaurants but none as good as this one

The food here truly seems to have a homemade taste. It is good. Very good. I havent had anything there that I havent liked. Service is great and prices are affordable. Its not as easy to find as Id like, but thats not a problem. My family and I love it here.

My wife and I have frequented this place for almost two years. They are very friendly and extremely helpful in picking a new favorite. Their Chinese cuisine is okay, but the Thai food is the best! Sometimes there is a wait, but it is well worth it to me!
