Should be renamed the Golden Turd. Sorry this place is the worst place I have ever eaten and I thought Golden Corral was bad this was by far my least favorite all you can eat places. I dont expect gourmet food but something that isnt going to clog up my toilet tonight without calling the plumber. The food dont taste that great, the general tao is probably the only thing that is ok, however as I go along and eat. The meat taste like rubber condoms, probably what they used. Its cheap meat dont get me wrong, cheap meat is fine for meals that are 10 dollars, but cheap meat shouldnt taste like it came bathed in raw sewage. So I admit I did eat my first plate, the second plate I wanted to be bold and tried seafood, I know seafood isnt fresh but this was beyond my expectation, it was rubbery cold goodness that the seaguls outside wont eat. The sesame chicken tasted almost a cross between cooked and uncooked that it almost seemed raw and makes me sick, in fact I cannot consume anything else after eating it, it was that bad. I cant even eat salad because of it. The deserts are laughable, because one of the coffee cakes or whatever it was had this fake plastic layering over it that wasnt even real tasting. I think Ill probably be dead the next day after I enter this review. Golden China will go out of business.

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. I took my fiancée to lunch here for our date. I later found out that they had charged my card twice for the same meal. I returned to the restaurant to explain what happened and asked for a refund. The manager, Shu Ma, and another employee were horribly rude to me and my fiancée. They informed me that they were not at fault (even when I showed them their mistake on my banking app) and they would not help me. They told me to take it up with my bank and inform them what is going to be done. I had no way to contact my bank, as they were closed, and was stuck. I informed the Better Business Bureau about the incident, as well as my bank, the following Monday. The BBB issued a letter to the Golden China stating I demanded a refund and an apology. They responded (in very broken English) that they will issue a refund and that they told us to return the next day after I talked to my bank. They did not apologize and Im still awaiting my refund. Case in point, if you dont want to experience this issue, eat somewhere else.

Me and My Fiancé always go here and eat overall we liked this place, until last night my Fiancé got really sick her body temperature was really high, she felt dizziness, and kept throwing up all night, well we looked online and found out she had food poisoning, and Golden China was the only place we ate at yesterday so today we are going to check with our doctor to run some tests and if we find out she did get something from Golden China that restaurant is going down we have the best lawyer Utah has to offer and possibly start a case on filling for a lawsuit, and closing this restaurant down, people shouldnt pay this much to get sick the next feeling like there dying this is wrong....its like paying for your own funeral we highly recommend not to go there after what weve experienced already and we were loyal customers at one point but not anymore!

Our experience was not so great. I always see this place packed so its gotta be good right? Wrong. 25 dollars for two adults. And we each had one plate it was so bad. The chicken is all bread, the beef and broccoli smelled and tasted like rubber, the sesame chicken was disgusting, and dont go near the pot stickers better off going to the frozen isle and making them in the microwave. So basically the food is very low quality and not tasty at all. Better off going to the one up the road that you see on the TV. Service was good our waiter Wendy was super nice and good about coming by to give refills.

The food is Good but its not done Really well they need to hire a better Chef to make the food better but its ok. But i will say it was Waaaaaay Better then Gourmet Chinese. ..I wish they had more Seafood thats my Favorite. Im from California and were next to the ocean Soo All the Buffets there Have Waaay more Seafood Selection Utah Buffets I havent found 1 that has as Good as Cali Buffets But i will keep yall Posted.

I have been eating here for years I come once or twice a week with my family and business partners every time we come to golden China the restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh I also like that the employees and the owner always treats my family with respect and my kids love the food thanks golden China for your great service great food I highly recommend.

Is very personable and everything is crispy and delicious and the clean counters are low for children and handicapped folks. So far its the best Chineese buffet in town that I have found so far the chicken is tasty and cooked just right. They have salmon cooked just right. They have swirl type ice cream at the end. Nice salad bar and of course custom Bowl creations

Very good all you can eat Chinese food. Been going here for years even at their old location . Never had a problem here very clean here compared to other buffers that I have been to . Their food is very addicting when I go I always get a separate box to go for the next day . No other Chinese buffets out there can compare to this one .

More options at the grill and its a 5! Awesome food, CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, I see restaurant kitchens all the time and this has to be in the top 3 cleanest I have seen! Food is always fresh. I just wish there were (as stated previously) more options (sauces, seasonings, meats, veggies, and rice/noddles) at the grill.

After recently moving in the area, it was hard to find a new chinese food spot. I was impressed by how fresh and delicious the food was and not expensive. They have a buffet and this section where you can pick your fresh ingredients and they cook it in front of you. Needless to say, we found our chinese spot.

Excellent restaurant. I just wish that customers can get there own drinks instead of the poor waitresses bringin out to you. The Worlds First KFC on 3900 South and State Street has a buffet and customers can get there own drinks at the soda fountain but other than that Golden China 5 star rocks baby....

Almost everything we had here can be summarized in three words - old, cold, and (most of all) greasy. The only bright spot was the Mongolian stir fry, perhaps because they cant keep that under heat lamps for more than 24 hours. We tried it because it is close, but will never go there again.
