This was the worst experience I ever had. From when we walked into the door at 10:45pm . The waitress Jamie that sat us started with no smile or hello and same attitude with the manager Jason. Then took for ever to take our order with only 3 tables in the whole place with people then took forever to even refill our drinks. First plate was served at 11:25 and I got my meatloaf plate at 11:46 and the bottom of the meatloaf was very hard like it sat very long all of our mash potatoes were all very dry. So I call the manager to talk to him on how the service and experience was from when we walked in till when we got all the food . This manager Jason looks like he doesnt even care what we have to say. I wish there was a NO STAR to rate this Village Inn because everything sucked about it...it will not stop here I will definitely call corporate office also to share how we all felt about this place...

Well for starters, the hostess and the GM were friendly, but our waitress was not. She was so unenthusiastic and obviously not happy to be at work. We all ordered a drink and a slice of pie to start with. We had been planning on ordering a couple other small items after our pie, but she walked past a few moments after bringing out our sweets, and left the check on the table without so much as a word. So I guess we werent ordering anything else. As for the pie, honestly, it was the worse piece of banana cream pie I have ever had. It tasted like banana-crap-in-a-can with whipped cream on top, and my fiancees coconut cream pie was about as good as mine. We will not be returning. Dennys, Dees, Midvale MIning, ANY diner in this area is a better choice than here!

The customer service at this location is awful! Our server only came to our table twice and that was to take our order and give us our food. After that she didnt even look in our direction unless it was to give us a dirty look. We wanted pie but no one ever came to our table to ask us so we ended up leaving after being there for an hour not checked on. When we went to pay they didnt even look us in the eye and didnt even ask how anything was just told us our total and then walked away. I will never return to this location.

Good food. Good pie. I often like to come here on Friday for the all-you-can-eat fish and chips. The staff is usually friendly. There was one time when we had a bad server, but I havent seen him there since then. It seems like there are mostly old people eating here, so its usually pretty quiet and laid back. Overall, its a good place to stop every now and then. I personally like this particular location the best.

We were reluctantly seated near closing time. Customers arriving a couple minutes later left without being seated. Food quality and service both reflected the Im out ta here attitude. Rubbery eggs, mushy hash browns, too lemony crepes. Not a server or cashier in sight. Might as well turn out lights at 11:30 as service must stop prior to that. Lesson learned? This isnt the place drive on...To Dennys!

Understaffed. We were lucky to get there when we did at 10am, as our order was taken and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. However, in the meantime, we saw five tables fill up and five tables of people leave because there was only ONE waitress in the whole place. I feel bad for her. The manager should be there to cover if he/she cant get employees to show up. Ridiculous.

The service was terrible. Very very unprofessional, all i could hear was the girls gossiping in the back. I watched 3 people walk away because everyone was in the back, and watched a bunch of elderly wait for at least 5 mintutes before anyone came out to cash them out. Someone needs to teach these waitresses and managers how to run a restraunt. Everytime I come in its like that.

I was not happy last night since I could not use my coupon because it was "pie" day. I did not want the pie. I overheard many other customers also upset that could not use their coupon. You have probably lost more customers not allowing the coupons than the money you would lose in letting them use the coupons. Use your brain, if possible !!!!!

The food is great everytime I eat here but I never feel like Im welcome...no smiles and no eye contact...like I pissed in their cheerios or something...especially Jamie she needs to smile or just embrace her job. Hope things get better for her but she needs a hug lol...Love the salads so Ill give it two stars...

The restaurant is clean and the waitress was accommodating to my requests. I got a veggie omelet which was really good, but I swear it was supposed to be egg whites instead of egg and it was cookies in a little too much butter. Other than that, I love the country potatoes and the whole wheat pancakes.

Ive never had a problem with this location. All the workers are so friendly. Today my food was cold sent it back twice and the third time the manager paid for our meal and was very apologetic and gave us free pie as well. This location is always doing everything they can to make sure youre happy.

Long wait! After waiting for 20 minutes to get our check i noticed that we were given the wrong check. Another table paid for our check by mistake, after waiting for the staff to debate the problem, we paid for our table, to keep a long story short, the other customers got screwed out of $20.00

French toast was only egg washed on one side. My wifes over easy eggs had uncooked (clear) egg in it. Told them at checkout and was given a "senior citizen" discount of 10%, making the terrible meal $16. Wife says waffle was good though.

I went here on a meeting with a business development group Im with and the service was excellent. I wish I had asked the name of the waiter as he had served my group of at least 10 people. They were very kind and the food was perfect

Food was formable the eggs was cooked super hard it was supposed to be a omelette taste like I was eating breaks customer service is very poor they do not check up on you they do not give you extra napkins I would never come back

If free pie Wednesday isnt enough reason to eat here theyre late hours on weekends and wide selection of entrees and pies are great. Service can be slow at times but the staff are friendly and take care of you well.

Had an awesome dinner! Food was great and tasted really good. Our server could have been more attentive though. No refills on drinks because she never checked back with us after we got our food.
