The ingredients are fresh and the salad is really light with a great peanut dressing. Try the tofu and you wont be disappointed. The rice bowls are on the heavier side, so I preferred the tofu salad. Also, have it prepared the "zao way" to get all the extra toppings. Its great.

Zao has popped up overnight and has locations throughout Salt Lake and Utah valley. Nice, relaxing environment as soon as you walk through the door. Steak rice bowl and the tofu tacos are delicious. Never busy when I go. Special craft soda on tap.

The food was wonderful and filling. I would compare it to an Asian version of Chipotle. You pick your style (bowl, taco, etc.) And you run down the line for sauces and other toppings. Its a good cheap date idea. Quiet and cool atmosphere.

Is it worth your money? Yes! Its fresh and delicious . Its unique flavor thats a nice shake up from the usual. Ingredients are uncomplicated and full of life. Price is fair. I would recommend Zaos to anyone looking for a clean meal .
