We visit regularly. Actually our preferred spot, especially breakfast. When friends come into town we normally go to the Draught Haus as was the case last time we were there. Service was as usual everyones food was as it normally is except my order of cooked oysters on the half shell. My girlfriend commented on the "fragrance" emanating from my dish. My assumption was ,her response was simply her dislike of oysters and my inability to identify any malorderous stench was due to my cold. First one was o.k. but nothing special, now the second one ,well Ive never tasted septic sewer waste but have had the misfortune to smell it ,do to construction work and the second oyster tasted as what I assume septic waste would taste like. What surprised me, was the response of management. After he inspected the rest of the oysters in the kitchen he found several had turned. And Im not sure if he misstated the shipment and arrival dates of the oysters but if he didnt, 2 weeks + seem a bit of a push to serve oysters, even spiced and cooked. Good news is I didnt suffer more than a upset stomach and they did deduct the cost of the dish from our bill.

The food was ok, a little overpriced for the small portions, i personally eat to get full, usually easily accomplished for under $15 (not the case here). Its Florida in mid-su.mer, you can have your AC lower than 85 in the restaurant. Manager was a little rude. i was with my Mom, sister, and brother My brother forgot his ID (hes 25), so they didnt serve him alcohol, which is perfectly understandable, so he didnt drink, while everybody else did (we werent gettin wild, couple drinks each, i had 3). The manager (Nicholas) came over and asked him for his ID at the end of dinner, and picked up my empty beer i just finished in the middle of the table because i just got another. He asked him why he was drinking (which he wasnt). IF U DIDNT SEE HIM DRINK DONT ACCUSE HIM. and then he told us to come by when he had his ID to drink. He didnt drink, so how bout STFU? Dont be a dick and interrupt our conversation and then invite us back. I will not go back there, because the overall experience was not that good. The server was good, fast and helpful.

One of my favorite places to eat and grab a beer in the whole Tampa Bay area. Chill but elegant digs. Outside is a beach bar feel and then inside is nicely lit and more formal. Feasibly, you could go here for a fancy date or go here with your bros and still fit in. You can get good wine, excellent craft beer, or traditional piss water. You can order expertly done steak or scallops or you can order a burger or grilled cheese! Every server I have had here has been a friendly, knowledgeable individual. Im not sure where they get them, but they are all great. Every bit of food I have eaten here has been unique and delicious. Ive met the head chef myself because he can be seen coming out to check on food. The beer selection here is great! You can get flights along with knowledgeable answers and taste tests. Theres even live music on most nights. Bottom line: If you live here, go here. If you dont, drive to check it out. Take your kids. Take your bros. Take your mother-in-law. Its all good.

At first we thought it was a little pricey for a bite and beer. It turns out this gastro pub is outstanding, prices are not as high as they appear for the quality of food and service. Our waitress, Briana, was attentive but not over excited or annoying like other places. We had the chicken buffalo dip and the mussels and both were delicious, the dip was Server with crispy wonton chips and the mussels seré oír of this world fresh with home made marinara and fresh basil. The ribeye esa delicious, the gorgonzola have it that tang and served medium rare, as ordered. The house burger was delicious, slow smoked brisket in it tasted heavenly and the sides were fresh and crisp. The salted caramel cheesecake was good and the beer was cold. Had one of the specialty drinks , the Madrid, it was as described, not weak or overpowering. Have to recommend this place 100% since the quality and freshness of the food stood out to two e,perienced foodies.

Food is amazing from seafood, burgers, salads, prices very reasonable and on top of this Draught Haus has the best Happy Hour around. 1/2 off alcohol drinks including top shelf and all draught beers and so many to choose from. Pizzas and Flatbreads 1/2 off during Happy hour. Think we have tried them all. Havent had a thing we wouldnt order again. Our menu Suggestions: meatloaf sliders, yucca fries, brussels spouts, and for pizza the Buffalo chicken and flatbeds tied between fried green tomatoe and Thai chicken. Treated like family here always greated with smiles and many warm welcomes. Management stops by to be sure we are taken care of each visit. If you havent tried breakfast at Clear-sky, your missing out. Excellent selection of regular breakfast with an upscale touch. Maybe its lobster or crab maybe shrimp yes that is on the menu for breakfast too.

Our studio is just a few blocks away, and we try to do a group office lunch every Friday. Weve been to Clear Sky as a group twice now and none of us has ever had a bad meal there. The secret is not complicated- everything they make is from fresh ingredients, cooked by someone who knows that they are doing. Its a very simple formula, so one must wonder why more restaurants dont build their menus on fresh ingredients and great recipes, right? Their burgers are made from a custom blending of meats (I assume fashioned in the kitchen), and you can tell that each one is hand made. One version adds a very thick piece of pork belly, which of course is an indulgence but the combination is delicious. Ive also had the brisket sandwich which was lean, fresh, and extremely good. We plan to dine here a lot more and I certainly recommend giving it a try.
