My take out was unsecured in the plastic bag I was given. Although I was careful in handling the food from the restaurant to my home, the contents had spilled into the bottom of the bag and required trashing. Gary, the owner said that in his several years of experience this had never happened. I simply wanted him to replace the food but he refused. This was my first visit with Little Orient Restaurant and will be my last related to the extremely poor customer service I received. I am very frustrated with his attitude towards customers.

The very first (and only) time I ordered from they took almost an hour an a half to deliver within Layton. I called at about 45 minutes after placing my order and they said the driver was on the way. I called again at 1 hour and they said the driver was on the way. When I called at one hour fifteen minutes, the owner said "I told you it might take an hour - talk to the driver, its not my fault." Although the food is decent, the wait and horrible service and attitude is repulsive!!!

I love this place! It is right on the border of Layton and Kaysville. As a citizen of Kaysville I have frequented this place often over the years. I love their Sweet & Sour Chicken lunch special for only $4.99. It is delicious. I also love their hot and sour soup that comes with it. The owner and her family are awesome people as well. They also have a pretty awesome website.

I must keep getting the shaft on this place. I have eaten here five times. Twice dine in and three take out. Slowest service ever. I have always gotten my food an hour late. No joke. The fifth time I timed it for fun, 63 minutes later I got my food! FOR TAKE OUT! That is why I go to mandarin cafe on 300 west, east of mcdonalds, in kaysville. Unless you can wait.

Ive been here quite a few times, and Im never disappointed. Atmosphere is good, but most of the time I get take out. Food is tasty and hot. Prices are good and theres plenty to eat. I usually rate my restaurants on how good their hot and sour soup is - and its great!

We have been going to Little Orient for many years. There was awhile a few years ago the food went downhill, but I tried it again recently and it was good! Its probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Love the pot-stickers! Its very reasonably priced too!

I live right across the street from this place, and so when we need a quick dinner, I can call over and then 10 minutes later walk across the street and pick up the food. The food generally has quite a few onions in it, but tastes great, is hot, and obviously fresh.

Best food Ive had in a long time. Had Cashew Chicken lunch and it was wonderful. If you like Chinese, you will LOVE this food. Thank you, Little Orient. (Take-out lunch on Aug. 20, 2014) They deserve your business for serving quality food.

I love this place, it is my favorite chinese restruant. They may be slow but it is replaced but quality and service. I would recommend this place to anybody. My husband loves the soup and I love the house sizzlin plate.

Very good Americanized Chinese food. The fried rice is great. Any of the battered and fried dishes are really good. Love that they have a drive up window. They are a little slow with the food though.

Food was not good at all, felt sick spending $40 for food we didnt eat! very quiet and felt awkward to talk. Could over hear everyones whispers, needs music or something.
