Waco is a halfway point for us. We were meeting up at Health Camp so the kiddos could spend a week with grandma. We got there early, parked behind Rudys and happened to see the Bare Arms sign. We looked at each other and said, "is that a taphouse!?" And we happened to be there while they were open. So after grandma and the kiddos left, we went straight over. The operation is small. I think theyve been there about two years. The taphouse is smallish as well but welcoming and comfortable. We went in, introduced ourselves as out if town and excited to try a new place. We decided to try a flight to get to know the place. The flight came out in painted muffin tins, which was something I hadnt seen before but was kinda cool. Will have to remember that. So we drank and talked to the guys behind the bar and they told us about the place. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. The place clean. We didnt participate but they had a lot of board/table games that several patrons were playing. Stayed about an hour & a half and ended up getting additional full pints of their Java Joule (coffee stout) and Lux (american lager - easy to drink). We had a good time talking with the guys behind the counter (and even some customers) and will definitely go back when we can. Hope they do well enough to grow a bit, maybe get a little more visible. I think we only saw them by accident. So check it out!

Me and the girlfriend decided to take a trip to Waco. We ended up going to Twisted Roots for a good burger. We were looking for something else to do after and Bare Arms popped up. We arrived and were immediately greated. Super friendly staff and they give you a tour if ya ask. I recommend the Turbulence IPA good amount of tart if youre a fan. Also ask about their history, couple aircraft engineers that quit their jobs to pursue the passion of brewing. Be interesting to see where they are in a year. They are growing very quickly. Thanks for the great time guys!

Was visiting Waco for the day and decided to swing by here. Oh man. If this place had been here when I was going to school I would have been here all the time. And probably even more broke than I already was... The strawberry berliner weisse was a one off batch that they did which was outstanding. If they still have it, go get some. Everything was very good. The IPA was great. Plenty of hop flavor but balanced with a good amount of malt flavor and wasnt face-meltingly bitter. If you live in Waco and like good beer, go support these guys.

I never write reviews but the beer was so outstanding I just had to rate the place. Very friendly and welcoming service. But the beer is worth going out of your way for. The beer was as good as anything similar weve had at 3 Floyds - our regular brewery back home. And Guess BBQS brisket was better than what we had at Lamberts in Austin the night before. If we ever come back this way we will look forward to stopping in for a cold one.

Friendly staff, always welcoming. They have some great craft brews, and are doing alot of stuff. Including Trivia nights on the first Wednesdays, and game nights on the third Wednesday. I would definitely recommend stopping in!

Mount Olympus of Waco area beer. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy a relaxed time at the bar with a pint of the nectar of the gods. Staff is inviting, their personalities add good color to an already excellent product.

Cool little place to grab a cold beer. If you are into craft beer, this is a place to stop. The staff was great and very friendly. I enjoyed the Java Joule chocolate coffee stout.
