One star is a little generous. I agree with the other posters about the lobster. They somehow managed to ruin lobster! It was shrunk down and very chewy, just like what you would expect a micro waved lobster to taste and look like. For the pick two meal I had stuffed seafood flounder and breaded oysters. The very small portion of stuffed flounder was a pitiful sight, and all broken into pieces, the fish was like mush. The eight paltry breaded oysters were shriveled down to the size of a quarter they were so over cooked. I could have went to Long John Silvers and gotten more and better food for a quarter of the price. They also served french fries when the side was suppose to be squash & zucchini. The menus were sticky, and a few crumbs left on the table. There was a lot of food, crumbs and some trash on the carpet through out the place. The biscuits were good! All-in-all, this was an absolutely horrible meal especially considering the price. There are too many good places to eat in Tyler to ever return to this place. They are destroying Red Lobsters good reputation at this location.

Got there at 5:30 with only a few customers there. It was nearly 15 minutes before we ever got drinks, another 15 minutes before they brought out biscuits, another 15 before we got our very tiny wilted salads that were made with cabbage and carrots (yuck) plus she added the tomatoes we didnt want. Finally, 10 minutes after our salads we got the pictured entrées. Not even close to the menu picture and everything was cold. The lobster and crablegs were sawdust dry. Gross!!! My baked potatoe was instead mashed potatoes because she took down that part of our order wrong as well. In all this time, not once did she refill our glasses, which were emptied by the time the biscuits were eaten. Finally a different waiter showed up with more tea. $80 for two people. OMG! I used to love Red Lobster but we havent been in a few months. Sadly, after this last visit, its going to be a very long time before we go back, if we ever do. This was an overpriced plate of grossness!

The waiter was great, no complaints there. However, we ordered 2 whole steamed lobsters. The tail was over cooked, rubbery, and chewy like calimari. The claws were good though. The green beans with mushrooms had maybe 2 or 3 mushrooms that were overcooked and tiny. The manager was a rude slob. I overheard him while listening to other complaining customers. They mentioned that they didnt feel they had enough shrimp. He replied that they measure their shrimp and that if they wanted to yell at him, he was used to that because he had a wife at home. Just very sloppy and unprofessional. Also......can someone please turn on some lights?? Its not a movie theater and Id like to see my food. I could barely read the menu. Not very pleasant for the $100 we spent for 2 people. ....... But the cheese bread was amazing.

I like fried butterfly shrimp with cocktail sauce. I went there with a friend on March 14 the. On the way home, before even leaving Tyler, I developed diarrhea bad and had to stop twice to use the restroom. Then when I got home, I got really nauseated, continued with diarrhea, had bad belching, and bad passing of gas. The only things I ate were the Caesar salad, cheese garlic biscuits, the shrimp and cocktail sauce, and a few pieces of French fries with ketchup. The horrible smell during the belching and nausea smelled like the shrimp and cocktail sauce. I figure that at least 1 or 2 or more of the shrimp were bad, and gave me food poisoning. I have eaten there before and didnt get sick previously. But this time I sure did.

Went for the "Endless Shrimp" and it was the Endless Wait for Shrimp instead. We were there for 2 hours and the check was $100 and I left hungry. This was on a Tuesday night when they werent busy. From the time I asked for the first refill of shrimp it was over 45 minutes before I got it and the portion was ridiculous. Never again will I eat there and Ill tell anyone that asks to stay far away. I always knew the food was mediocre but mediocre food coupled with horrible service loses me as a customer. I honestly dont see how they stay in business. Everyone sitting around me had the same horrible service.

It wasnt a good experience, there was several things they didnt have that is on their menu, salad, vegetables, the rolls werent as good as they usually are. The waitress was very nice, after she had to tell us for the 3rd time that they didnt have what we ordered , the fourth time the head waitress came and told us we needed to order something else. So there was 4 items that we ordered, normal items that we had to order something else. Then when we got our check the items we didnt get was charged as extras. So we wont go back to the red lobster in tyler on loop

We waited two hours for the food we just cancelled order and left. Like several others did. We had another two half hour drive to go to Fort Worth we had already drove a hour half to get to red lobster. I do have to say after I asked for the manager she did offer to give us the meal free if we stayed but we could not wait any longer. It was almost like the cook quit. That was are first time and last time. Friday night was awful. And all you got was two biscuits for some reason. I was very disappointed. The facility was very nice. Wait staff was very apologetic.

It was not good, the lobster was very small and chewy, looked like it might have been cooked in a microwave and was very bland just like the rest of the meal. the steamed squash and zucchini had a lot to be desired, this is the second time my wife and I have been served what we considered garbage and we WILL NOT be back, I could have got six large crawfish tails and had more meat than the lobster did, what a shame Red Lobster has become but the service was good, that is all we can say about it. The crab legs were very small and dried up, no meat to speak of.

We went there for our anniversary last year and it was a terrible experience. It was busy, so we waited a very long time to get seated and had bad service. They had run out of the advertized special on a Friday night. So they offered something else, but charged us more and brought out my husbands after I was finished. The food was not hot and floating in butter. Cost us around $50. Are you kidding me? Never go there again! We left so disappointed.

I usually have a very nice experience, however last night was terrible. The bread was hard, the salad was wilted, the lobster was dry, the shrimp was overcooked, the crab legs were also dry. We asked that out broccoli be cooked more, it was not. Our waiter did not refill our drinks until he was asked, twice we had to ask another waiter to get our waiter. Ive never had that experience before it was not crowded or at closing time.
