Mambo Seafood has been a family favorite for a while now. But, me and my family were used to the "not so great" service and really just stuck to the "you get what you pay for" everyone has mentioned previously so we stopped going. After hearing this location was under new management we decided to go ahead and dine in instead of just calling to go. I must say the place looks 10x more sanitary than before, we were acknowledged right away by the hostess and directed to a big table right in front of the lobster tank. Our waitress saw us but was taking another tables order and just nodded at us and as soon as she could she went our way she introduced herself as Jary and apologized for her delay. We understand that the restaurant was prettying busy so waiting extra minute while she finished wasnt a big deal. She went ahead and took our drinks and brought them within minutes, once we decided to get the family meal on the menu she suggested we checked out the little blue pamphlet they have up front and handed us one she had in hand. Honestly I dont know if thats a new thing but I didnt even know that existed. Thanks to that we were able to pick something else, which made everything much easier rather that picking the one in the menu and adding to that. The food wasnt delayed, which was a problem we used to run into all the time. Our waitress was very kind, she check up on us often, refilled our drinks before we had time to finish them and made us feel very comfortable. Overall, it was great, highly recommend giving this place a second chance. The staff seems more educated on the menu and new management seems to be running things a lot more smoothly than before, we will definitely continue to be regular costumers, Thanks Mambo!

Had a Horrible experience. Sonia was our waitress. When we first arrived we were able to find a table right then and there. We were able to recieve are drinks within a decent time. It took a while for them to bring our food. Sonia was our waitress she did not bring the food to us or did not check on us we needed refills. The other waitress that did bring our food I requested for Sonia. We were already halfway done with our meals and still no refills. Finally I seen our waitress called her over. Let her know that I was upset because we still dont have any refills. Sonia Response was shes busy if I want another waitress. I told her I understand and continue to let her know I wanted something else, before I was able to finish what I wanted to say she walked away for me. That is the moment I requested the manager. After I spoke to the manager she had the nerve to come back. Gave me a fake apology. Once I let her know how rude and disrespectful it was and she would not like it if someone would treat her that way. She tried to deny that did not say that she was busy and if I wanted another waitress. I was in such disbelief that she would be lying to my face. So we just decided to leave!! I will never come back to this location, we decided to come here and eat for a family meal and a good time turned out to be a horrible experience!!!

Gotta give a shout out to the Assistant Restaurant Manager, Jose. A bit of a snafu occurred with my [favorite] Friday night dish, shrimp and chicken fried rice. Although most times the kitchen gets it right on the rice, I called in about it. Without the interrogation, Jose heard me out and kindly assured me that hed make sure that the next time I ordered the shrimp and chicken fried rice, it will be to my satisfaction, on the house. So I did just that. Only problem was that although I ordered shrimp and chicken rice over the phone, I didnt notice pollo written across the box plate until arriving home. Anticipating the combo (although I fault myself for not checking before leaving the restaurant), I reluctantly called back. Jose didnt give me a hard time, apologized and was gracious about getting it right- "third times a charm." Upon placing that call I cringed bc I understand food costs, on a collective basis. But Jose was hospitable and genuine about wanting to get it right. That time, the shrimp and chicken rice was spanking hot and delicious- a great way to put down Friday nights dinner. Its not about getting it wrong- its about making it right and Jose epitomized this through his art of customer service satisfaction. Hats off to Jose! -Michelle ;)

Never order something to go, this place is good whenever you stay and eat but never order something to go when your here because more then likely that order is going to come out wrong, we came here about a week ago to order some cocktails and plates of food to take home, the place had just opened up and was empty so we thought it wouldnt take long for the food to come out, we ordered 4 large cocktails and 3 plates of food, the lady at the counter kept grooming herself(as if she were so damn great) not to mention the gum she kept smacking on, so we repeated our order to her a few times to make sure she was listening, she said it would take 20min so we took a seat, 1hr went by and we were frustrated as hell, finally we got our food and left in a hurry, we assumed everything was correct due to the fact it took so damn long to prepare what we ordered, when we finally got home all we had was 2 small cocktails and 2 plates of food(which were wrong) with a small box of rice, seriously wtf!? some of the employees really get on my nerves here and this isnt the only time this kind of thing has happened

Muy buenas tardes, Mi experiencia esta vez fue muy buena el lugar estaba un poco mas limpio la comida estaba caliente no se demoraron mucho en llevármela a la mesa, nos ofrecieron los especiales y la bebida nunca nos falto, muchas gracias por tan excelente atención!!! la mesera se llama Kimberly y hasta la manager creo que era la señora Magda fue a la mesa para ver como nos había ido esto fue en el Mambo del 290, lo super recomiendo !!!!!!

So today, considering we are seafood lovers, my husband and I decided to give this mambo another chance, after not coming for over a year due to bad experience. Well i can say we will for sure be returning more often. Our experience was great beginning at the door as the waitresses greeted us so friendly. As we sat down a waitress came to our table fast which was awesome since we were really hungry. We were offered todays special which was a whole red snapper topped with ranchero sauce and i can definetely say it was DELICIOUS!!! Their mambo rice was great, and their mambo cheladas just hit the spot!! The restaurant looked clean and even though it was busy our waitress Jasmin was fast, attentive and really friendly. Even the manager Jenny was checking on the customers. Im really glad we gave it another try, we were truthly satisfy. GREAT SERVICE Mambo!! See you soon.
