My first and LAST visit, I would NEVER in life eat here again! My fiancé and I came here and ordered through the drive-thru. FIRST, there was a sign on the menu instructing us to place our order at the window but as we were deciding what we wanted a ladys voice randomly came through the intercom after we were already there for 5-7 minutes. So yes it scared the crap out of me cause I thought the thing didnt work. SECOND, there was a car sitting ahead at the window with their car off which clearly indicated that they had been waiting for a while, only to be instructed to pull forward to wait longer after we sat behind them for so long. When we pulled to the window the lady was nice and our food was ready. I ordered grilled shrimp and substituted the grilled veggies for french fries but they gave me veggies anyway, I had to ask for my fries after i checked my food. The killer part is the fact that after my 1 year old ate almost the whole box of fries I happen to pick one up only to find a fried mosquito looking bug stuck to my fry. It had been cooked with the fries, I was highly upset only imagining what all my child had consumed. My first and last time ever going there and i definitely wouldnt recommend it. I took a photo of it but im not sure if I can post it on here, its definitely on my Yelp! review.

They offer red snapper and serve tilapia. This happened to me a couple of days ago. When I told the waitress that I had ordered red snapper, not tilapia, she said emphatically that what I had in my plate was tilapia, but she could not tell me why she was so sure. Besides, I ordered grilled, and what I got was really greasy. I returned the plate without touching it. I ordered crawfish etouffee instead. It was really good. The salad and the hushpuppies are barely above bad. At the end I paid more than what I expected to pay at a "cheap" restaurant. The place needs some cleaning. but I have seen worse (Shoneys in Louisiana, for instance). In summary, this is a supposedly "cheap" restaurant with some good food. I would probably go back just for the etouffee.

Great fried shrimp and catfish the breading was very good and they were fried just right. Prices seemed reasonable about $12 for a plate of fried food french fries and a small salad. They had just remodeled the inside and it looks nice they were working on remodeling the outside and it really needs it. The tables are clean and the employees were friendly. The portions were large and I had lots to take home. A lot of substitute rice for french fries on one plate and toasted bread for French fries on the other place the toasted bread was really a hoagie roll with butter it tasted very good but its not the New Orleans French bread that you would expect for a poor boy. I recommend this place and cant wait to get back.

I found this place when I was receiving treatment from the Methodist down the street. I was so sick of the liquid diet they put me on so by the time the Dr said I could process solids again, I came straight to Baytown seafood! Their snowcrabs are to die for if youre a crab lover. I also recommend the blackened grilled catfish, you cant find this plate made anywhere else. They also started serving frozen mango margaritas its only $5 not bad at all! One tip: if you have one margarita you might order another one especially if youre dining in... its addicting. Ill be stopping by here from now on when I visit the med center

Ive been there many times over at least the last 5 years. Every time the food has been really good, freshly made, and a bargain for the price/quality. Their basic specialty is fried seafood, but Ive had grilled/blackened food thats been good too. Its not fancy, but the price is low for very good seafood in ample quantities. If you want white linen service (and the price), dont go there. If you want really good Gulf Coast Seafood, especially where Southerners love fried seafood, then come on down. And its only about 1/2 mile from Reliant Stadium and near the Texas Medical Center.

So I will not be coming back here... They have a drive up window that is scary!!! Then when you make it to the window you have to knock on it or honk your horn for them to come take your order. Keep in mind at no time did I say to stop at the menu and box them have out there. You dont order at it and better yet dont worry about looking at the menu for the prices considering they dont charge whats list in it. Only reason I came was because my husband brought home some leftovers and they were good. I later found out it was from a different location.

We were skeptical at first...building is a older, needs a little updating and there were no other patrons in the place when we got there at 11 am on a Sunday morning, as a matter of fact, no one else ever showed the whole time we were there. BUT...the food was extremely good!! The grilled bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was unbelievable! Their stuffed crab and boudin balls were awesome. The waitress was very nice, helpful and took care of us! They may not be the original Baytown Seafood but they definitely are a hidden gem near NRG Stadium.

This is a pretty ok place for "fast food" seafood. However, the fast part might be a bit of a misnomer. Honestly, I have time to go through my bank account while Im waiting. With that said, their food is pretty good. If youre looking for gourmet, go elsewhere, but Ive yet to have anything there that wasnt worth the price or that didnt taste good. If I had to suggest something, I would say try the boiled snow crabs, extra spicy. You get a salad and a loaded baked potato with the two clusters for about $16.

This place is no frills but thats completely fine for how good my experience was a few weeks ago. I went to the drive thru and yeah it was strange but the service was fast and friendly. I ordered a grilled shrimp dinner that came with rice and fresh grilled vegetables. Shrimp were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I could not believe how fresh everything was and reasonably priced too. Definitely a great place to have a casual dinner.

Customer service is good and they have a drive through as well. You can order daiquiri to go as well. Ok i only gave 2 stars is because well the food just didnt have any flavor to it really the fish and frys. My salad was a little brown no big deal and very little ranch dressing. My daiquiri wasnt that great either. I like Baytown Seafood but not this location my first and last time coming here. Again Customer Service was great though.

Great food! Waiter was polite, & very attentive. Food was EXCELLENT. Were from La & I must admit that this seafood was on par with our seafood in our area, (that doesnt happen often). The portions were plentiful as well, esp for the price. The establishment was clean!! The food was out fast & fresh. Well def eat here when in the area next time. And its very conveniently located..Not far from the zoo & nearby hotels.
