I ordered a cake for my Mothers birthday, brought it to the restaurant ask them to store until we were ready for it. I looked over another table with about 7 Caucasians at the table and I told my friend that sure look like my Mothers Italian cream cake, her response was no it cant be. They could not locate my cake, needless to say, there were no other cakes in the back, needless to say the little girl waitress had given the other people my Mothers cake and she thought it was funny. My friend went to the table and ask the people at the table was that there cake and they said no, but it sure is good, they boxed up the cake and left with. The restaurant offered a slice of cake in their restaurant to sing happy birthday to my mother. The general manager never came out to apologize, they paid for my mothers meal and for the cake but that is not enough, when the general manager never comes out. In my opinion those people new they cake wasnt theirs but you open and eat it anyway. They are thieves number one, any normal person would reject the cake and state it doesnt belong to them. That is the most disrespectful, dishonorable, trashy people, Ive ever seen. What is this world coming to, that you would ruin someones birthday party, steal their cake. Low class

So good that I am actually writing this from the restaurant. I just had amazing salmon! It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. And you cannot leave without trying their Greek salad. It is full of flavors and they make it right in front of you. Fresh ingredients! I selected the jumbalaya rice as my side, and I can say that by weight, there was way more meat than rice - there was literally sausage in every bite. Choose this location, and you will treated to excellent service! The food was complimented by terrific personnel. They bend over backwards to make sure you are enjoying your food experience. If you sit at the bar to eat or need a drink, I hope you get Dale. He is top notch, super friendly, and makes you feel right at home. I liked the relaxed atmosphere. Even the kitchen manager Rogan, came out to make sure I was having a good meal. The food is moderately priced, but I was extremely satisfied and full. If you want generous portions of tasty and fresh seafood, look NO further. I highly recommend this Pappas and will definitely come again the next time I travel to Houston.

Way over priced for what you get. I orderd the shrimp and scallop primavara. Fist off the scallops were not grilled all the way and still a little raw in the middle but the shrimp was way way over done and one of them wasent deveined. For 19.99 the asparigus was not blanched or pealed the red bell peppers where not roasted or pealed the zucinni was sliced about a millimeater thick. Only thing they got right was the mushrooms. The sauce tasted like strait butter and not good quality butter. Tasted like melted country crock. It was margerin not butter at all. The calamari was 3 whole squid for 13.00 and was fried, nothing special their. Service was fine, the waitress was helpfull. I gave apmosphear a thumbs up how ever the ice and tea station was not even 5 feet from my table and was not sectioned off at all. The noise from that alone was very unplesent. The value was way below what I would expect. For this price you are better off takeing a trip down to kima and dinning at the aquarium.

Used to be one of my favorite spots to eat but not tonight! Went for the last night of 1/2 price gulf oysters on the half shell and arrived at 9:15 pm. Set at the oyster bar with only 2 other people seated) waitress said they had been busy, the shucker acted like it was a big inconvenience to serve me and served me a dozen of the smallest gulf oysters Ive seen in my 8 years in Houston. Ordered a second dozen hoping for a better experience after noticing other peoples finished plates that were left out on the bar and was treated the same way. After my 2nd order the waitress finally asked me how I was doing and when I expressed my dissatisfaction she said well it was 1/2 price!! What a bargain!!! Not the same place I started eating at 8 years ago when I first arrived in Humble.

My husband work 6 to 7 days a week and we rarely get to go out to eat we love fresh seafood and this place is the closest place to us that has fresh seafood without having to drive all the way to Kemah . It was very pleasant atmosphere and had a wonderful dinner everything came out on time they did not try to rush us through the appetizer and give us cold food it was excellent service. We have been here on several occasions but this time, the service was exceptional and the staff was great and at such a busy time of day we only had to wait 15 minutes for a table for a family of 5 on a Friday.... the only negative thing I have to say is it is a little loud but with 3 kids that usually loud anywhere you take them...

I gave pappas seafood a few years break. Now I remember why. Menu has changed alot you cant get flounder or snapper? Come on pappas! Tilapia is the cheaper alternative. I dont eat the fish because of what they are fed on the farms. My wifes plate came with scallops. Ok the scallops were fillet in half to make it appear there were two scallops??? Come on pappas. I played it safe with catfish and shrimp. The shrimp still had the vein in them and the catfish was soggy with the batter falling off. The server made the comment that she couldnt keep our drinks full because she had been busy making a salad...sorry guys wont be back pappas is over priced delivering a mediocre product and service.

the service and the bread was great. While the food quality is acceptable, the menu Sorely lacking in any real quality fish items. Everything is extremely overpriced. We live in a coastal city in have the worst Seafood ever. Who the hell wants to eat tilapia? Farm salmon? Rainbow trout? Mahi-mahi? These are all low-level fishes, not worthy of the price tags they are putting on them. Where is the halibut? Where is the Ono? Where is the Moon Fish? No grouper? No black drum fish? No swordfish? No snapper? This is definitely Seafood for people who dont know Seafood. The french fries that came with my kids meal were excellent. Wishing they had better choices and more competitive prices.

Best seafood in the Kingwood/Atascocita/Humble area. We go there quite often, and the whole family enjoys it. The fresh bread they give at the beginning of the meal is the best bread around! We believe it is actually made by angels, and as you break a piece off, they quietly sing to you. Anyway, portions are huge, prices are standard for good seafood restaurants, it is clean, and the waitstaff are attentive. The banana bread cheesecake is pretty fantastic if you like banana bread and cheesecake :-)

OMG visited on 2/22/2013, ordered a bloody mary, the mix they use is aweful. Ordered the shrimp cocktail acapulco it was far from what they served back when Allison worked there, just no flavor at all. Ordered the cedar plank Atlantic salmon and while it was cooked on the outside the inside was like jelly on the plate raw. very dissapointed. While they took both the bloody mary and the salmon off the bill still didnt matter, bad is bad. Be careful.
