The first time I came here, the food was really good, and for the quality, the prices were reasonable (some cheapskate might whine about the prices, but IMHO this is a case of "you get what you pay for). Anyway, I had the oysters on the 1/2 shell, fresh bread and the house salad. They make their own blue cheese dressing, which is usually a good sign. He dressing was mild my taste -- I like it when its sharp, but anyway it was very good. They also make an oriental sauce (forgot the name)for the oysters that is both unique & very good. Had the lobster & it was done to perfection. Desert was good too, although I couldnt eat it all.

Always Excellent - I love everything about this particular Pappas Seafood House. It has the coziest atmosphere and window views. The food is always excellent. Its my goto place for clients, friends and family especially before or after drop offs and pick ups to Hobby Airport. Everyone is always happy, satisfied and remembers the great experience. I especially enjoy happy hour and the staff definitely enhances the great experience. The cocktails are not only taste amazing they look amazing. The entire place is always clean and held to the highest standards. I am here at least once a week and I always enjoy myself.

Im SORRY, but I ordered the Costa Rican Tilapia and it was NOT up to par...it was just a BUNCH of rice w/ sausage (dry) & a BABY TILAPIA w/ 3 little shrimp & some crab meat. NO TASTE at all! I think $20.00 for a LUNCH menu you should get better than that! You sure do at OTHER places! I have come here often, but NOT anymore. Buyers Beware...look down the street. My server TAYLOR was GREAT though. But they are sure PROUD of their PRICES! Cross check w/ other places...COMPARE the prices AND the FOOD!!! AMEN

The food just tastes ok and thats bad about it because its overpriced! We could have better food with that price. For example, the mixed seafood grilled, the dish just has some small pieces of grilled fish and two small scallops layered with bell peppers and onions and it cost $25!!! Fried seafood platter-- dont order it. The only good fried seafood here is catfish. Other than that, dont order it! The only good thing about it was our waitress. She did her best to make us happy.

We flew in from out of town and stopped in for lunch which was really good. Nice atmosphere, was seated quickly, service was prompt and courteous, food was brought out timely, and it was very good. The loaf of bread was large and was baked just right, not hard as a rock like some places. The house salad was a bit pricey for a house salad, but was a nice portion and tasted great. Seafood had great flavor with the cajun spices. I will go back again when I am back in Houston.

This place was hit or miss. Oysters? Amazing! Everything else? Not so much. I had Salmon that was overcooked and spaghetti squash that was pretty bland. My guest ordered the stuffed lobster but only received a steamed lobster that was properly done. The wait staff in general seemed to be a little scatterbrained. However, I think our waiter was new as he was very uninformed of the menu and under attentive and the rest of the staff seemed like they were picking up the slack

The Lobster Dinner special is great, enjoyed every bite. Their alcohol drinks are horrible, they must measure the drinks with a thimble for a shot glass and charge like they are real drinks. I could almost see the vodka in vodka on the rocks. They were out of oysters the night we ate there, hard to believe at a famous sea food spot. Dessert was very good as was the service. Go in, eat the lobster special, dessert and get out.

This place makes Papas look like a joke. This was my first and last visit to this location! Apparently the girls working in the bar hate their job and dont want to train the new employees. The food was not good, it was all either over or under cooked. They were more worried about a cheesecake in the back than tending to their customers. Please dont let this place ruin your experience, the Papas in Humble off of 59N is amazing!

The experiences Ive had here have been pretty sub-par. You can tell that this place is overpriced for the quality of food theyre presenting. For my shrimp po boy, you can tell that the shrimp was frozen, and had a very fishy residual taste to it. I didnt want to seem ungrateful to the person paying for my meal, so I ate the dang thing, but man, I wouldnt go here by myself.

I will NEVER go here again. I order 4, I said 4 different shots and they had none of them. We were celebrating a birthday, so I asked for 4 shots of Ciroc, the waitress tells me after about 10 minutes that they do not have enough for 4 shots! Thats only after they refused to make my first two request. Never have I had that happen! Horrible dining experience.

Me and my family when for the first to pappas to celebrate my mothers inlaw bday when we got there we had to wait for ur table then for ur drinks the server was hurrible he never went to say if we were okay he never say a word to us bad bad service... I recomment people go to NInfas texmex on gulf freeway the service is greattttttt!!!!!!!!!

Great place for seafood. Pricing is higher than average for other places but this offers the typical great Pappas service you find in their other chains and great food. The onion rings are phenomenal and my favorite for lunch is the fried catfish. Stop here once or twice a month for business lunches and never disappoints

When me and my husband and son came to Pappas seafood this what was going on front counter. as we enter the door and continue as we said and waited for our appetizers and food to arrive the young lady that worked there was having some kind of sexual play with another co worker out in the open . nasty and disrespectful.

We got there at 5pm on a Saturday and it wasnt busy at all. I would recommend going for an early dinner as well! Everything was excellent from the moment we walked in to time we left. The wait staff is attentitive and kind. The food was amazing and the cocktails are so refreshing! By far, my favorite Pappas restaurant.

Went an had dinner there walk out an my truck was stolen .. Security didnt see a nothing .Has me thinking he had something to do with it . Try calling corporate to see is I can get video footage . They never call me back ..They only good service I receive there was from the bartender Daniella.
