Our trip here was very satisfactory at the time. We were greeted immediately, given preferential seating. Our waitress was great. Very polite & sweet. Our dinner was great. Everything tasted awesome, and portion sizes were really good too. I just wish they had fried pickles on the menu, but thats okay. I wouldve given them a 5 Star Rating, had my husband & I gotten sick the next morning. Now it wasnt major, but we knew it was from the food. Probably because we dont eat a lot of fried food. So if you are a normally healthy eater, keep some tums or pepto handy just in case the oil doesnt agree with you. All in all, great visit, tasty food, great service. :)

Was @ Jumbo Seafood for dinner on 5-18-11. No monster roaches or illegal alien raps - which really doesnt belong on these pages. I found just great food and service at a good price. I had a large bowl of gumbo that had a rich, savory broth and was loaded with shrimp and scallops. I also had the 2-piece red snapper plate, which was served with hush puppies and fries. It really hit the spot; I was at the end of a long days drive into Tyler and had skipped lunch. I was glad I found this place - it was within walking distance from my hotel.

This is the best fried shrimp in Tyler, period. Great, light batter, done right. Other restuarants here just dont know to do it. A bit awkward to get into the parking lot-- hint, turn west on loop 323 at us69 north, & use the back driveway by the corner servive station. Wait staff is always friendly and helpful. Great prices for folks on a budget.

We have eaten here several times now. The outside appearance needs updated but the inside is a total surprise. Very clean and maintained, even the restrooms are spotless. The food is FANTASTIC and so are the prices and the service. I would recommend Jumbo Seafood to anyone who wants Great seafood at a very affordable price.

We ordered the 4 piece fish plate which also came with fries and two hushpuppies.THE FISH WAS OVER COOKED "HARD",HAD NO FLAVOR "WHATSOEVER",BUT WAS HOT. THE HUSHPUPPIES TASTE LIKE THICK CAKE MIX "also had no flavor "......WERE NEVER GOING BACK. SERVICE WAS GOOD THOUGH.

Its never crowded. Food is always great. My husband loves the ribeye steak, never dry and always tender. The shrimp and catfish is great as well. Havent tried the gumbo, because there is not one that measures up to mines. The tartar sauce is very good.

Kai runs a clean restaurant and the food I great. I work in several restraunts and few kitchens inspire eating food, but this place is well run. The red snapper and grilled veggies on Cajun Rice is really really good.

We loved the food! We were traveling from out of state and saw it on the side of the road decided to try it and so happy we did. The Mexican cocktail was amazing and the Cajun food was yummy! Wish we lived closer.

Waited 30 minutes to be seated even though There were 4 empty tables. Now been waiting 30 more minutes for food. Serving staff walks, no one husteling. Not even offered a cracker.still waiting.

This food was fantastic. I had the steak and shrimp plate which were very moist, tasty, and delightful. Not the best side of town, but this place is definitely a "diamond in the rough".

The Shrimp Gumbo is very good and so is their Fried Catfish. The gumbo as my dad said if you want good gumbo go to Jumbo Seafood is the place to go. And he was from Louisiana.
