My wife and I decided to try this place for the first time. I hate to say but we had a unpleasant visit. From the time we arrived to the time we left it was bad all around. We deceided to sit at the bar and after about 10 min I was finally approached by one of the three bartenders. She asked if I knew what I wanted? My response was"Well Im not sure" before i could say anything more she tossed me a beverage menu and went to the other side of the bar. It was another 10 min before another bartender finally acknowledged me and I asked for a dinner menu the other bartender said "I gave you one already" my simple reply was you gave me a drink menu I know what I want to Drink Im needing dinner menu" This all could have been avoided of she would have just devoted about 30 sec to me and my wife in the beginning instead of throwing a drink menu on the bar and walking away. We then deceided to order Nachos Grande as an appetizer. It took 19 min to come out and it was cold. Im not kidding. Matter of fact the beans were so cold it was if they were taken out of the frige and put right on our chips. Right before our Nachos came out we ordered a Large classic. It took about an hour and half to get it. We inquired about how long it was taking and were told that the kitchen made the wrong pizza so they were remaking ours. Finally the kitchen manager came out and apologized which was nice but then we were told that it was made wrong again. So we asked for them to just box it up when the pizza is ready because we had to go by this time. We get home and we discovered the pizza was barely cooked. Just a terrible visit all they way around. We probably wont ever be going back. I always try and find great things to say in my reviews but Im sorry to say I could not find anything positive to say about our visit.

I am writing this lengthy review, because I only want the best for Tyler. I am one of the people involved in the dispute concerning the police being called over a server falling on the opposite end of the restaurant from where I was seated with my fiancé. I contacted the regional manager and Scott Wilson, the GM. They were polite but uninformative and seemed relatively unconcerned. My fiancés time, our embarasssment and efforts to help management improve their restaurant were in no way compensated besides a form-letter apology. I was over the ordeal until a friend informed me that the manager reviewed his own restaurant 3 months before it opened, which violates nearly every Google review policy concerning bias. I hope this place gets buried in search results for that. Ive seen dishonest, unprofessional behavior the only exception being saying they were sorry for ruining an evening and lying to police. Save your time and money. Go somewhere with cheaper, better pizza and attentive staff, where they wont serve you a beer and then treat you like a criminal for drinking it. Go somewhere thats been given good ratings from customers and not the staff or the GM. This place is just a corporatized joke. Theres nothing old or Chicago about it. I prefer Brunos or Double Daves to this relatively unimpressive bar. The people at these two alternatives are dedicated to their customers. Keep it local, and youll be glad you didnt spend $75 on a mediocre pizza and some decent craft beers. You probably wont have to worry about managers wasting the time of the local police with fabricated stories that blame you or your friends for server issues and the inattentive behavior of poorly trained managers.

Waited over an hour to be seated even though there were numerous tables available. I asked the hostess more then once about the tables and was told they were waiting on the people at the table they had chose for me to get up. I said anyone one of these will do fine. After another 20 min wait and watching people way after me being seated I chose a booth and sat down. The watriess was very nice and understanding and started to serve us. The hostess then came over after 10 min and asked me to move. I told her I would not and explained why. Did ibfail to mention I tried to ask a manager about this and he walked off on me Doug I was told his name is. Im also pregant and standing up and waiting for that length of time is hard on me. 30 min wait turned into well over an hour. If kids were not set on pizza we would have left.My husband also tried to talk to the manager and was ignored! !!!

A couple I know invited a small group of friends and coworkers to meet up here. We all had a single beer. One friend in the group almost bumped into some servers all hanging out and chatting on the clock. The manager called the cops on the couple that invited us out even though they were not involved. No one was arrested, but it was uncalled for. Im not sure if theyre encouraging people to not drink here, servers to act unprofessionally, or managers to act irrationally. Either way, there is better pizza, better beer selections and friendlier, locally-owned restaurants than this place. I asked my friend if he got an apology. He said management made excuses and sent a generic email. Im not going back. Save yourself the trip.

Absolutely terrible food. And the service was worse and nonexistent. I got up and walked over to the bar to get a refill. Bartenders said that happens all the time. Had to wait about 20-25 minutes to get a table in the dining room with prolly 10 tables empty. When food finally arrived pizza was cold. Must have been ready for a long time before server finally brought it. My wife and I sat at table for at least 10 minutes before anyone came over. My wife literally was waving her hands in the air to get someone to come over. And then the manager finally got us drinks. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. And Im sure their workers/manager wrote the good reviews on here. Not going back. Ever. 2 drinks. 1 pizza = $35. Terrible.

The only reason that this place got a 2 was because of the waiter and TVs. EVERYTHING else was aweful. The hostess skipped us at least 3 times then called out the wrong name and was too lazy to see if it was us event hough I had been up there several checking where we were in line. I was a hostess before so I know how all that works and am usually understanding but when you get straight rude about then thats where I draw the line. The bacon burger tasted burnt. The waiter was very sweet though and made sure we always had what we needed. The whole experience took 2 hours which I think is quite ridiculous for a pizza place!

Maybe comeback when its not so new. Just like Gusanos this is not real Chicago style pizza. Its not bad, but not real Chicago Pizza, which is to be expected since were not in Chicago. It tasted fine, a little better than Gusanos. You cant just puff up the crust in a black pan and called it Deep Dish. Also in Chicago when you order a Deep Dish it takes at least 45 minute to an hour to cook, not 20 minutes. And they are worth the wait. The servers were nice and very attentive. Looks like they have a large selection of beers. Maybe Ill come back for lunch and try a sandwich and update the review.
