So to start off the food was pretty good, particularly for fast food. Now comes to the problem- the service. I went with co-workers during my lunch. First problem, they are discontinuing the baja shrimp even thought there was a huge sign for it right behind the cashier. As we were picking up food for the office it created a bit of an issue (they still had the baja shrimp on their website). Ok no big deal, just frustrating. When it came to ordering, I asked if I could get a side of mango salsa. The cashier said sure, so I ordered the rest of my meal around that. I pay and he goes to get the salsa, only to come back saying he had to charge me .80 for it. Wouldnt have been an issue but he already ran my card. When I said you already ran my card, he said oh I can charge you again. Not really blaming the cashier for this but his manager insisted he charge me when in this case being kind to a customer and letting them have the .80 salsa would habe been a smarter customer service move. Seeing as I planned my meal around that I just did it (I was the last to order and it was taking forever). (Side note: the salsa tasted bad, like maybe a little turned, ended up not even using it.) So then we had about a 25 minute wait. Considering it was only 4 orders and there was only one other person in the resturant that was frustrating. So we get our food and head back to the office (coworker waiting for his) in time for the last 20mins of our lunch. The final straw- one of my coworkers opened her tacos to find they were covered in cilantro after she asked twice for no cilantro. Cilantro really upsets her stomach and I was behind her, she asked twice. We look at the receipt and it says no cilantro. So she calls and asks to speak to a manager. The manager tells her she can come back right now and they will replace them... seriously? After we spent nearly the entire lunch break just waiting for the food you want her to drive 10 mins back to wait for tacos for another god knows how long? What do you say to your boss, oh sorry I have to go get my tacos redone, I need an extended lunch? Really now? God forbid someone with allergies ever tries to eat there. The food was good for fast food, but Id rather go some place that has better customer service.

First off love the food and concept when done right. That the rub. Went there Sunday with another family and here is a list of problems. 1. Order wrong on both ours and our friends. Staff did not note changes and tried to tell kitchen. Yeah that not going to work. 2. Order took very long. Ordered 1240pm received food 130pm. Other family only got half order and got refund for rest after an hour. 3. Staff was overwhelmed. Other people were waiting just as long and one of the cashiers was almost crying from the frustration. Till they get their act together avoid or at the very least check your food and be prepared to wait. One other time I went there they threw in shrimp tacos that I found when I got home. Which means someone didnt get their tacos. I hope they work it out since it could be good healthy alternative to burgers. My advice avoid it till they work out all the kinks.

Just tried this location for the first time and had a pretty poor experience. I pulled up to the drive thru and was the only one there. Was asked to wait a minute to order. 5 minutes later I ask if I can order yet and the guy admits he forgot I was there. Ok, honest mistake. I ordered 4 crunchy tacos, the ceaser bowl, side of mashed potatos and a side of ranch. Pull up to the window and I have to wait another 10 minutes because they needed to fry up some taco shells which was fine. I got my order and went home to find that I did not get my mashed potatoes or side of ranch(my mistake for not checking before leaving). The worst part about all of this is the chicken in the tacos and ceaser bowl was super dry and tasted old. The lettuce had tons of brown on it and wasnt crunchy anymore. Needless to say we didnt eat it. I have had Pollo tons of time before and never had a problem. :(

This new El Pollo Loco is by far the worst El Pollo Loco I have ever eaten! The first time I had their food back in the late 80s down in Nuevo Laredo across the Mexican border. I was excited to see we were getting one here in Spring but that didnt last long after eating their food. The chicken was dry and over cooked, the rice and beans were tasteless, the guacamole was so salty we could not eat it and had to throw it away. What a waste of $4.19 for one menu item that was thrown out. I have given this location its final chance to provide quality food for a fair price and it failed miserably. Tonight was our last straw, El Pollo Loco will get no more of my business and I will be sure to tell all my neighbors and friends to stay away and not to waste their hard earn money on low quality food from this location. If you want chicken drive a half mile north and stop at Popeyes

The worst drive through experience Ive ever had. The person taking your order was so rude, then I get to the window and waited for ten minutes. Not one person came to the window. All I saw while looking through the window was different people walking around, talking and people on their cell phones! And not one came to the window to greet me, take my money, or apologize for taking so long. So I drove off. Probably wont ever be back to give them by business, management definitely needs to step up and see whats going on. Too many complaints. Sorta glad they never came to the window after reading all those bad reviews. They have potential to be really good. But with that poor service they are gonna end up losing BIG!

Visited 3 times in the last week. #1 Food was very tasty. Zero friendliness (basic customer service from staff etc) oh well, maybe better next time. #2 Food was pretty good. A couple bones in the salad, and a couple hard/burned pieces to spit out of the burrito. Same poor service. I thought polite should be automatic at restaurants, but ..... Maybe next time.. #3 Salad is missing avocado completely. Made up for with extra rice. Burrito is maybe 1/2 to 2/3 the size as the 2 previous visits. Strikingly small. And the same unfriendly, take your bag and get out of here feel from the staff. Done.

Not only was the wait long with only 1 car in front of me, the "chicken breast" portion of my meal was almost none existent (see photo). Clearly they were not waiting for fresh chicken (tough and dry) to come out, so I not sure what took so long. I really hope it improves as the area really could use a place like this. Maybe I will try again in a few months and eat there so I can take back my poor pathetic excuse for a chicken breast instead of being disappointed when I get home.
