Been coming here since before I was born! Many, many years ago they were on Military dr. and my mom has been coming here since she was pregnant! The sweet n sour chicken is the best in the city and is always consistent, made with thick chicken breast pieces, there are no veggies in it, which leaves more room for chicken!! The chicken is not dripping with grease, the sauce is so yum and doesnt taste like ketchup (yuck) like some places! The eggrolls are also the best, seriously the best! The filling is so yum, they taste different from frozen eggrolls(like other places sell), theyre homemade and have a good amount of pepper, theyre greasy though, I dont have a problem with that but just saying. The eggdrop soup here is good too, I like the lil bamboo shoots in it. Also, the family, theyre good people, plus theyre a mom and pop and I like spending my money at places like that.

So if u are looking to pay normal restaurant prices for microwave food then this is the place. So I ordered a sesame chicken plate and my friend got the lemon chicken. They brought out our food two minutes after we ordered it witch was bad sign. When we got our food we immediately noticed that the chicken on both of our plates were the same. They just fried up a frozen chicken breast chopped it up and put the appropriate sauce and called it a day. The egg roll was also a rewarmed microwave piece of crap.Everyone who left a 4-5 star review is either dumb or has really bad taste.

Ive been coming to this place since I was about ten, theyve always had the best food, and from where they used to be, the restaurant itself has come up. Theyve been serving homemade food for the longest and the staff, is the same hard working family thats been there busting ass in the kitchen since the 90s. Love this place, always brings back memories when Im feelin nostalgic and what not. Those who are rating it low, dont know the meaning of old school home cooking, you gotta try it for yourself instead of some dumb***es judging what they dont know. Happy eating southside

I have read good reviews on this place and decided to go. I walk in place seems nice enough. Right way they have no General Tsos Chicken, ok Ill eat something else. Sesame Chicken, has no Sesame seeds, its also terrible. No Sriracha Sauce, well they had a bottle but it was filled with Louisiana Hot Sauce, I dont quite understand. The egg rolls were just fried dough with little filling. My fortune cookie was stale lol.

Its been a long time havent been to this restaurant finally decided to drop in and give it a try. big disappointment! the egg drop soup was bad .House fried rice had no taste to it also the egg roll was tasteless had no flavor so I cant see why these people that are giving it three and four stars these must be locals from around the area its apparent that these people have never tasted a five-star Chinese restaurant before!

The best ever. Do not listen to those reviews that talk about the food being horrible, they do not have the credibility to differentiate between homemade and food from a box that you just add water. This is the standard to use against any American-Chinese cuisine (let me empathize that). If you want the best then this category of cuisine then make an effort to try them and ridicule the reviews that state otherwise.

Terrible sesame chicken. Its just a lightly breaded breast that is cut up into strips. Then they pour sesame sauce on top of it. They dont cook it in any sauce and its not cut up until after its cooked. The rice was ok and the egg roll is the only reason they got 2 stars. It was good. Im sure this chicken is used for all the different dishes. They probably just pour a different sauce over it.

I can go to much better restraunts but no matter what this place always comes to mind, seriously the egg rolls, won ton soup, fried rice and chicken there is the bomb!!!! The recipes are plain and simple but the taste is just enough to keep you really satisfied and keep you coming again.

Ordered the egg drop soup and it tasted nasty. I smelt it to see if it was spoiled but it smelt like urine. so disgusting. I will never go there again. I grew up eating here and one bad experience is all it took for me to make up my mind. This place is gross

Amazing food!!! My family and I have been coming here for years. Small place owned and operated by family. The food is nice and hot and their egg rolls are the bomb! Service is always good and the prices are fair. Love this place, I recommend it to everyone.
