This place use to be delicious and colorful. I use to come to this place twice a week with friends and family. I loved it. The food was rich and moist and you really got your moneys worth. I am sad to say, it has gone down hill since new management. I have given this place three tries since new management, and the food is not only salty but the meat is hard, has hardly any flavor and the generals chicken is brown when it use to be orange. The fried rice use to be the BEST, now its bland. Even the eggrolls werent right. I know the old manager too and she is a wonderful lady, even the staff under her was awesome. I knew if she was there, the food would not be this bad. Me, my friends and family have found a new place to eat. I really hope it goes back to the way it was before.

The original manager for this place was very kind and courteous, generous in servings, and left a very positive attitude in the place of which she worked. She made the staff work hard, and the atmosphere enjoyable... now, its run by some little girl who treats it more like a retail business rather than a Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere is now cold and unwelcoming. the head staff treats you like you dont exist (she doesnt greet people at the door like the old management did), and from the taste of things, there is now a new cook, because the food now is very undesirable. STAY AWAY.

The food is delicious & the price is right! The only concern I have is if you have a peanut allergy make sure the cooks are aware. I asked if there were any peanuts in the food & even though the food had no peanuts I dont think the cooks took precautions to peanut allergies in the food preparations. After eating there my son had an allergic reaction even though his food contained no peanuts. The food is great & so is the price as well as the customer service but just be careful if you have peanut allergies.

We tried this place when we got a groupon for it, we were pleasantly surprised. This was some of the best Chinese food we have had in San Antonio. It was priced well and the portions were generous. Most of all though we told the two ladies working that we were trying this place for the first time and they insisted we try a sample of everything! We were almost full by the time we placed our order. My opinion is, come for good food and a friendly atmosphere.

I was very surprised by how good the food quality was for the price. I almost didnt recognize what I was eating at first since its probably the first time Ive had General Tso chicken that was actually still juicy inside! Service is very friendly and helpful. They provide samples if youre not sure if youre going to like something or not. This has become one of my favorite places to hit up on the weekend for a nice treat.

I have read all reviews and decided to investigate. Sizzling Wok is located at 1604 and 281 from the parking lot the aroma smelled great as entered and approached the counter I would describe this restaurant as discount meal Blow out. I believe mall Chinese food would be a level above what I tasted. These meal warmers were just filled with tasteless recreations of oriental cuisine we love.

We stopped by after being next door shopping and were pleasantly surprised with the food. The wonton soup was lacking but all our entrees had very good flavor. The portions were average sized but it was a quick lunch so it wasnt a huge deal. If your nearby give it a try but I wouldnt drive across town for it.

Great food, generous portions and good prices. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating. Food that has been prepared and "out" is usually good but the food that they prepare in response to your order is almost always delicious. as of April 2017

I got their flyer on my door. Called a couple days later.The guy on phone was polite, got my order correct. The delivery driver was also polite, found my place no problem. I got the shrimp lo mein, wonton soup and kung pao shrimp. All very delicious

It has improved from a year ago. Tried fried rice today since more than a year ago. Moist, juicy, alittle bland but with some soy sauce and chilli sauce, it was tasty. Havent tried other dish, but so far seem like an improvement

The dinner plates i ordered were super small. The orange chicken was burnt and had no meat in the middle. The beef and broccoli had about 4 pieces of broccoli and 3 of beef. I will never order from here again.

You can never go wrong with the Tom Yum soup, make sure you ask for cilantro in it, adds the the perfect touch to it
