If your order is messed up, and you bring it back for them to replace at a later time, the manager Kevin will hassle you and question every micro detail of your interaction, and despite you being correct about them making a mistake and them offering to remake the order, he will repeat "I do not recall that situation" and you will be out of money and food. The only good thing about this place is its convenient location. Food is below average Fried rice is lazily and cheaply cooked. The chicken used is cheap, fatty chicken, usually overcooked. Bad sweet and sour sauce, way below average egg rolls and crab rangoon. Dumplings might as well have been bought from the sushi dept of HEB, small and low quality.

This place SUX! Ive eaten Chinese food all over the world. Yes, I know that this is lil ole San Antonio but where the food definitely fails, this place has THE WORST customer service! Others reviewed more of the same so its not just me. If youre looking for a decent bite of Chinese, this place "aint" it. And no, Im not going to tell my "what happened" story... It just gets my blood pressure up. But I will say this, Wah Kee on Blanco @ 1604 is pretty good. And when they screw up, everyone does, they will make it right. Unlike someone else I know of that tries to sucker people into buying their !&$#ed up food. If youre unsure of who I mean just check who Im reviewing....

I went for a lunch special just now. I thought the food would taste delicious. I was dead wrong. The "chips" they put on my table are stone cold, the hot and sour soup was decent, but the main course was disgusting. The rice was just in a ball on my plate, and the triple "delight" that was supposed to be on my plate tasted like a microwaved dinner. Stone cold on the outside and piping hot in the middle (the one dead giveaway that this was microwaved). If I wanted something microwaved, I would have stayed at home and not gone out to eat. I couldnt even finish the main coirse. The meat was flavorless. DONT GO HERE, THE FOOD IS NASTY!!!!!!!

I absolutely love this place! Anytime I want any Chinese food this is my go to place, I have tried other Chinese restaurants and they have not yet to impress me the way Delicious Garden has! I used to be a regular when I lived on that side of town! Anytime I am over by 1604 and Redland Rd I make sure I stop by. It is always fresh, prices are good, food is awesome, and the owner is a sweet heart, and is very clean, the setting is calm as well. I think personally it maybe to quite, but other then that it is a fantastic place to eat! Definitely a must try.

Originally I did give this restaurant five stars and yes I still stop in to dine from time to time. I do enjoy this familys receipts. Unfortunately quality of execution has suffered and dishes are now inconsistent. I continue to return and on occasion ask them to correct the dish. Meals are still made to order but threw the years it seems hard work has played its toll on this family owned restaurant.

The food is okay, nothing special, but I am sick and tired of them messing up my delivery order. Once is understandable, but three times? Forget it. Also, the last time was a doozy. The delivery driver said he would be "right back". An hour goes by, no driver. I called up and the manager said "he went out to make two other deliveries....hell come back later and do yours." Yeah...no. Im done.

I was craving some delicious Chinese food and this place is definitely not it. Decent at best. I had a General Tso chicken, hot and sour soup and an egg roll. The good news that it was only $6 and change, the bad news is that my soup tasted like vinegar and my chicken tasted like it was a General Bore. Definitely wouldnt recommend to anyone. You get what you pay for, literally.

The crispy beef is awesome here. Ive been here many times and have never had a bad meal. On one visit, I ordered hot tea and mentioned that I liked their jasmine tea. The server brought out a few tea bags to take home for later. Its never super busy and the ambience is very pleasant. A+

Terrible. No flavor, room temperature and soggy cheese rangoon, vegetarian dishes served with pork egg roll (wtf?). Spring roll also cold and soggy although not as bad as the rangoons. All in all, Ive had better Chinese food from the frozen food aisle at heb. Avoid this place.

Definitely the best Chinese food for the price in this area. The restaurant is quite ambient and the service is quick (at lunch) and excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to enjoy a meal with friends, family or even alone!

Some of the best General Tso and chicken broccoli Ive had coast to coast. We drove in from Washington DC and found a great Chinese food spot for when we visit friends in the future. Great service and courteous staff too.

This place is the best little Chinese takeout in North SA for the value. I get take out from here twice a month and have never been disappointed. They have generous potions and always make the food fresh.
