All you can take, in many ways. Went to try the prime rib special and it isnt prime, choice at best. Prime Rib is ONLY AND ALWAYS served medium rare, thats the way it is done but not here. Here they take it and roast it until it might have a little pink in the center which is medium well. My service was bad because I saw the other server 3 times for every time I saw mine and even then he didnt even check in with me every other time. He was more focused on bussing tables than customers. I also noticed him stuffing straws from the table back in his shirt pocket for reuse = big health code violation. Rest of food was okay. The pot roast was so dark from being roasted to death but it was still edible. The corn was dried out before cooked. You know that because each kernel was dented. I got the best looking one and it tasted fine but it was dented more than a Pontiac Aztec from TVs Dark Angel. The mash potatoes were a creamy slop that I had one bite of before I gave up. On the brigt side, the shrimp were done nicely and I had three types: butterfly popcorn, and coconut. All were crispy outside but tender inside. The rolls as always were great glutinous balls of enjoyment. The rice krispy treats came in clusters because whoever cuts them forgot they are full of marshmallow and glue themselves back together. Another note is how they sit families with a high chair at the end of the table closest to the food and that highchair blocks the entire aisle instead of putting them father back so you see everyone have to struggle past or go down another aisle then cut back across. Really bad planning on their part and I saw this as a pattern, not just once or twice.

The Food and drinks are great provided you catch the staff in a good mood and on a good day. the best time to go 20 to 30 minutes right before lunch time because you can be able to eat breakfast and lunch under one receipt and they wont charge you extra for it. the extra charge is not out of being nice to save you money but its to save you money since they dont believe in discounts and the prices per person arent always worth the amount paid nor is it justified by the food, drink, and customer service quality at times. coming here on a good day really is a luck of the draw because you might not always get your monies worth. the staff could be incompetent and careless and the cashier will charge you more for the same thing the previous customer in front of you was charged. also I heard they overwork and underpay their employees because they are expected to survive off customers tips all the time. this is no different than a homeless person begging on the street for money after washing your car windows! Golden Corral is a modern day slave shop who forces their employees to work for next to nothing and still expects to stay in business while higher management lives the good life filthy rich with benefits fuel by the blood, sweat, and tears rolling off the backs of its slaves! the place is great to be at on a good day but the people who run it are selfish, greedy, evil, and corrupt!

One of 2 if the best golden corrals we have been to. The food is always cooked properly, and replenished asap. The secobd location is in New Braunfels ,Tx. However we do not visit that location often as the one i am reviewing now. This place draws a crowd on busy days likke holidays and on Sundays after church so go early if you can. Price - cost has been on a stead rise over the last couple of years. Food selection has gotten better as well cost fir family of 4 is 40ish at best unless you are a senior which helps in meal cost for 3 adults and 1 child. Ither then that its worth the expenses if you gi here occasionally. Breakfast is great with wide selections if various food item. As for staff we tend to be seated in an area where we get some awesome servers. They are friendly, and attentive to our table. I do recommend visitors to visit this location. The only con i have is restaurant size. With amount if patron on daily basic i do wished this place had a much larger seating area. With volume of people this locatiin receives it should be reason enough to look into expansion of location. Either way we ll still be your customers!

The food is okay, but for the price its just not worth it. Two people can eat there for about $30 so its in no way economical. About the only reason youd want to come here is if your party is having difficulty deciding on the type of food to eat. That said, If you happen to be one of the millions of people with a License to Carry a Handgun you might want to opt out anyway as theyve got a huge (improperly placed) 30.07 sign banning you from the premises and the kicker is you cant see it till youre already inside. The one up side to this place is the staff is generally really nice however last time my wife made me go they earned her ire as well because we witnessed a manager force one of the staff from a closed down privet meeting room and make her sit on a bench by the front door to use her breast pump where she was on display (crying) for every one to see.

Myself and the wife went to this Golden Corral tonight - weve visited quite a few during our travels around the USA over the years and I can quite happily say that this particular one had the best servers weve seen even though they were very busy and the food was spot on. As always with places like this, youll get some people who moan on (like the guy below) - I mean, he said its the worst place, dont go - but in an earlier breath he mentioned he couldnt sit where he usually sits. Cmon, get a grip. What do you expect for less than $11? Its not haute cuisine is it? Personally I feel its excellent value for money and we go to places like this as we like the variation. I definetly recommend visiting this particular venue if you are in the area. We liked it and if we were local or if were in the area ever again, we would certainly go back.

Met some old friends for a dinner get together; pregger friends choice. I know this area well and even after 20+ years the atmosphere hasnt changed a bit. Pros: • Wide selection of drinks and juicy meats. (Great if you are Low Carbing) • Wonderful wait staff and manager always on the floor. • Fresh breads, sides, and vegetables. Cons: • Tables way to close to each other. (Terrible if you have to position a highchair) • Food and silverware everywhere on the floor. (Carpet needs cleaning) • 2 Bathroom stales with both stall seats hanging by a prayer. • Dessert bar was less than par. STAY AWAY FROM THE CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!!! (Many double dippers) It was an alright place but definitely a place to catch up with old friends with children. If you really want a clean spacious atmosphere than give the 1604/Bandera a try.
