I just moved to San Antonio from Indiana, but I was born and raised in San Diego and have eaten a LOT of Mexican food on both sides of the border! I cant afford to eat out often, but Ive eaten dinner here twice now and I tried something different each time. The food is excellent. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The atmosphere is okay. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated, but its not a glamour spot. The service has been prompt both times ... not overly friendly, but certainly courteous and attentive. I recommend it to my friends and will definitely be going back often.

Im from El Paso,Texas a place that prides itself on its Mexican food. This place Taqueria Tequila Jalisco is amazing!!! It would make some of the places back home re-think their menus. It is truly authentic Mexican food with traditional taste and service. If youre in the area make sure you stop by and have a taste of Mexico! Im defiantly going to return and tell all my family and friends. This is a must when in San Antonio.

This resturant has good food....There service is fast and the prices are unbeatable. I would recomend this resturant to anyone. They only thing I had a problem with was the waitress that took our order hardly knew english, and that they ran out of Menudo and Posole fast..Other than that it was sooooo goood!!!

This is my go to lunch place for Thursday. I look forward to Fajitas rancheros all week. Its the only thing that I have eaten there but my colleagues have said they have never had a bad meal. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating. Weve never had a problem getting a table for 6 for lunch.

Been coming here since i was a little girl. Ive been to many taquerias being born and raised in SA so i know my mexican food. They have the best chicken fajita and guisada. Their tacos are not too greasy. Of course your potato and egg is gonna be greasy if you add cheese. I love jalisco!

Every time Ive gone in and ordered breakfast tacos they were so greasy i had to go buy a roll of tums. The tacos had kind of a funny taste. And it was potato ,egg and cheese not a difficult meal. I also felt very uncomfortable, didnt like the atmosphere.

Ive tried a variety of food on the menu and the only thing I could eat without getting sick was the asada tacos. Then I watched the news one night and saw theyve gotten over 30 demerits on their last inspection. I will never eat here again!

Used to be great now eh.... Very plain ... Beans are real watery ... Dont know how else to explain it but watery .... Potatoes were hard still not cooked all the way.. Very unsatisfied breakfast :-( oh coffee was good .

Food was wonderful and the waitress was very nice and attentive. The building is a bit rough especially from the outside. If your looking for some really good enchiladas verde I would suggest this place!

Food was great and authentic. Portions were very generous and service was good!! Lots of locals eating here on a Friday at lunch. The place was packed, we had a large party, and we were fed quickly.

Breakfast tacos are 100% legit. I really like the chorizo and egg. The atmosphere is cozy, though theres plenty of seating if you have a large group.

This is about as authentic Mexican food as you can get. Phenomenal. Tortillas are made from scratch. Doesnt get any better, and its super cheap.
