Paid $44 for two people to eat CRAP (had to share an entree) Also note: this was the Hibachi, I dont know about the restaurant part) Shrimp, undercooked. Chicken, undercooked. Vegetables, UNDERCOOKED. Rice- BLAND. Also, for paying all that money I would assume the guy making my dinner in front of me would put on some sort of show- I mean any Hibachi I have ever eaten at has a chef that does the fire and swings a spatula and makes the volcano onion or SOMETHING. This guy- nothing. This place totally wasnt worth the outrageous prices they are charging people to eat their hibachi. My boyfriend is now at home sick and throwing up after eating here. Thank goodness I was smart enough to only eat the rice and vegetables. I have eaten places where I get more quality AND quantity for less. I expected so much more and this place failed to deliver. If I were you, I would save time, money, and your stomach by just finding somewhere else to eat. As a first time customer of Kyoto, I can honestly say that was my last time.

This place is absolutely amazing. Faith, our server, was very professional and a total sweetheart. Her service was wonderful and she was very good at her job. The food- Me and one other person ordered 3 drinks, one appetizer, and two Hibachi dinner entrees and it came to a total of 88 dollars. So no, it is not the cheapest. But you do get a LOT of food and we have a ton of leftovers. I normally am not a fan of Hibachi restaurants ginger dressing salad and theirs was very impressive! The drinks were very strong! All of the food was mindblowingly delicious and I will forever be a loyal customer! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Definitely coming back...a lot!

Went there solo and ate in the dining area. Had the crispy shrimp roll appetizer - simple but yummy, and the shrimp was nice and plump. I cant have sushi right now, so I ordered the filet minon entree with fried rice, vegetables, noodles, and it comes with a small side salad and miso soup as well....so a LOT of food, and it was all very good. The meat was cooked perfectly, the rice was delicious, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. Price was comparative and fair. Service was great, and the restaurant appeared clean and well taken care of. If Im in the area again I wouldnt hesitate to come back.

It is a little pricey and its nice to go there every once in awhile. Food is good, atmosphere is good, restaurant is clean and nice. Cooks could have a little more theatrics but all in all Kyoto is the same or better than most hibachi restaurants and Ive been to them all over the country. They always have folks in their parking lot and it appears they are doing well, so folks vote with the wallet.

We had a party of 11 of adults and children and tried out the Rockwall location for the first time.Overall, great hibachi dining experience! Our server Kirk was attentive and accommodating. Great customer services goes a long way in my book! Also, the food tasted great, not too oily or bland, like how some hibachi restaurants can be. Also, our hibachi cook was entertaining. Will come back!

The food is great!!! All of it. If you go to the restaurant you will enjoy yourself, but do not try to order take out. I have ordered take out several times and the staff is incompetent. They have never gotten my order right and their policy about substitutions are in consistent and idiotic. Tried to give up two sides to get extra rice and the did it a few times and others they didnt.

Not impressed. I thought it would be better. Dont get me wrong the entrees were good but everything is over priced and they charge you $2.99 if you want fried rice. The sushi was small. The kroger sushi is bigger than theirs. If you good hibachi, with decent prices and a good amount of food with a many options go to Kamaze. Even their drinks are good.

I asked for the Seafood trio -scallops, squid and shrimp in a white wine sauce with vegetables- which was under the "chef specialty" section. It had everything the menu stated but the dish was very very lame, without taste. For almost 20 dollars and being house specialty you would say the food had a much better flavor. Chef needs to work on it.

I was very bothered by the bad reviews on here. I have been twice and the food was always very yummy. The hibache grill servers were always very creative and entertaining. I plan on inviting my whole family to spend my birthday lunch here. LOVED IT! I think the bad reviews on here are a bunch of bull. Just sayin.

The service is great. Attentive wait staff and very accommodating. I tried the lunch hibachi and it was pretty tasty, but nothing to rave about. The soup was very watered down with little flavor and they never brought my salad. Sushi is average quality and average in presentation. Not bad for Rockwall, I suppose.

Wife and I tried the hibachi cuisine. (They take a while. But that goes for most hibachi restaurants). Is a little high in the price but the food was very good. The atmosphere is quiet and dim, sushi is good but not that great. Over all this is a good place to eat. Will return after I pay off the bill haha

AVOID go down the street elsewhere. This tax free LLC has no training of staff and the food poisoning all 8 of us got from celebrating here is one for the books! Stay away from the tuna sashimi - best $300 I ever spent if I was paying to miss 3 days of work and some the first day of school!

Went here for first time ever. I think i had my expectations wayyy to high. Nothing special plain ol restaurant. Mediocre food and service. Had good flavor but meat was no better than say tgifs or roadhouse. But just a plain ol decent restaurant definitely not even close to 4 star at all.

Food is great but wait time is horrible. Been there 3 times and was informed 30 minutes but waited over an hour. When giving waiting times they should be more accurate and honest. If you want food from here just order it to go.

Way overpriced! They put mayo in their sushi! Gross! Two tiny specs of tofu in the miso soup! Edemame was good but that is hard to mess up! Had flavored sake... Tasted like perfume yuk! Never going back! Two thumbs down!

paid $60 and it was disappointing. The restaurant looked nice and server was good. The chef was not animated at all. I could have had better sushi from Target or Kroger. Dont go here!

The food quality is poor, quite disappointed in how it tastes. My sushi roll was ok. Quality is mediocre for the price they ask for it. Our chef was a nice guy and kept us entertained.

A nice little Hibachi place. Nothing too amazing, but the food and drinks are good. Its fun and not too expensive compared to other Hibachi places Ive been too.
