As this was my 1st time at a Freebirds establishment, my 1st impressions are as follows: Limited menu items, Selection of drinks, while appearing to be good, all of the ice tea containers were emprty!, The music was so loud, I thought I was at a rock concert!, The employees handling the food did not have any plastic gloves on, With this location being in a "upscale" area (The Village at Allen), the men employees must have thought they were "being cool" with the pants hanging low and showing their underwear! Really! At a fast food restaurant! No class here for sure. Trash was blowing around the patio area. Employees completing their lunch break, returned to behind the counter did NOT wash their hands and were preparing the food! I CAN ASSURE YOU I WILL NOT BE GOING TO ANY FREEBIRDS ESTABLISHMENT IN THE FUTURE BASED ON MY 1ST TIME EXPERIENCE. THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY OTHER CHOICES THAN THIS PLACE. I wish Freebirds all the success, but do not count on me coming back!

As with most individuals who attended Texas A&M, Freebirds is a special place to me; however, I have to assume that this location is a franchise. I have purchased food here on several occasions; each time I do reminds me why I do so on such an infrequent basis. The service is absolutely HORRENDOUS, and it seems to have gotten worse over the past few years. The staff is poorly trained, and it shows in everything they attempt to accomplish. The customer facing is woefully inadequate. The line takes much longer than it should (even when it is only 2 people deep) and the portions are a joke. I am not sure what this location does differently as far as training, but the quality is simply not there. I hate to say it, but take your business to Chipolte or Chiloso if you are in Rockwall. I know that is what I will be doing from now on.

CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. Good food but the employees here at this specific location have the worst customer service skills I have EVER experienced. At chipotle they make your food in 30 seconds top. Here you walk in with no one inside and it takes 10 minutes for someone to help you. Also witnessed 2 customers walk out because NO ONE would help them!!! Careless employee slaps on the ingredients messy and sloppy. There are no customers on a Saturday night for a reason.... got served queso that was basically a soupy water cup. Pretty sure it wasnt done then I go to pay for my food to find the cashier playing on his phone distracted, minutes before ackowlinging me. If your thinking about going to free birds in rockwall... GO TO THE NEXT ONE.

Freebirds was one of my favorite restaurants for the longest time. But over the years it kept getting worse and worse. After it got bought out (over 10 years ago IIRC) the quality of ingredients plummeted. And it just keeps degrading yearly. I was the last holdout of all my friends that still went there, but I gave up on it a month or 2 ago when I went there and the food was just trash. During that visit, I also found out they had discontinued the Freebird [fanatics] points card in lieu of a crappy phone app. I ended up uninstalling it right after checking it out, as it asks for way too many permissions I would never want to give them. Wish this had just stayed a small chain in Austin.

Food is always good, but the employees lack knowledge of what theyre doing when preparing food. I find that after all the times I come, mostly during the week; the employees look lost & seemed like they had no interest in taking care of the customer. I have been there at 7pm & instead of refilling an item, they will tell you that theyre out... Ive been to other great Freebirds & its sad that this one falls short because it is close to home & I love Freebirds.

Every Employee is rude, They dont know how to fold the burritos correctly and when you ask them to re-fold it they look at you with the most rudest look and attitude on their face, The cashiers arent any better what so ever and then I get home and notice on the burritos I had them re-fold they dug their fingers in them making the tortilla rip in 3 different spots. This Rockwall location sucks and very seriously needs new employees!

I dont know if they have a Chipotle around Dallas considering Im not from here but what I ate here was pure garbage the grilled chicken had no flavor, whatever they call the boiled veg sucked too, the condiments were generic, and the prices are higher than Chipotle. At least at Chipotle you get what you pay for. Put a Mexican taco stand in the parking lot and they will be out of business next week

I went for the first time in April of 2013 and it was awesome. The food was great the atmosphere was great but a few of the servers seemed to not really care, while some of them were awesome. I dont live near a freebirds so Im really looking forward to goin somewhere that has one. I considered it well worth the money considering I took leftovers home & it equalled more than one meal for me.

When we went, everything seemed dirty - overflowing trash cans, a condiment area full of used paper towels, and a disorganized kitchen area. My wife ordered a vegetarian burrito and the guy behind the counter thought this was weird - despite the obvious fact that the option is on the menu. The food is fine, but these other factors diminished the experience.

The Freebird salad with fresh field greens, grilled chicken and the Ancho chili dressing was really good. There never seems to be a line here and the folks serving are very polite for the most part. I really like the fresh cut citrus at the drink bar, and it has two sides to serve drinks so no waiting on that person that takes forever to get a cup of soda.

This is, hands down, my absolute favorite quick meal restaurant. The service is always very kind and congenial, and the food of course is phenomenal. I dont eat wheat, so the option to do a bowl instead of tortilla is critical, but the fact that they portion the quantity of product to be similar is what makes it wonderful. Thank you!

I Love this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have 2 different size of Burritos plus a variety of different Tortillas. I come here every time I drive through Rockwall. If you are looking to avoid the big national Burrito places come here and relax. Outdoor seating and beer round out my top 10 things I like here.

Love FREEBIRDS. Have been going for years. BUT there staff and services at the Rockwall store is terrible. Several members were doing absolutely nothing while the line was out the door. Some were so rude a couple people left eight then. This is only one day. I cant imagine other days. Please make this a better experience.

The food is good usually on the cold side unfortunately. The customer service is great although they recently hired a lot of new people and cut down on the old peoples hours. The new people dont have the charisma and charm as the older ones. Mostly go there for friendly atmosphere and free Wi-Fi now.

I normally love this place, but tonight I had to pick the steak off of both the burritos I ordered. There where huge chunks of steak that was very hard to chew, then I noticed it was half done. I only have a 30min lunch break, or I would go righ back up there. Very Disappointed!
