My job takes me all over north Texas in the Dallas area. This past Tuesday I was traveling on Goliad in Rockwall TX and stopped to get a bite to eat at a Subway located there. I ordered a Subway Club and asked to have an extra slice of ham and one less slice of roast beef on the sandwich, something I have done numerous times in various Subways all over Dallas and have never been turned down. However this time the young lady behind the counter informed that was "customizing" and they were not allowed to customize sandwiches. What? She was not impolite or rude but that threw me back as I have never been told this in any other Subway. When I tried to explain I was not asking for anything extra only just wanting to substitute a ham slice for a slice of roast beef on the sandwich she still turned me down. I left and found a Firehouse Sub a little later on and had a delicious club sandwich there that was loaded down with ham, smoked turkey, bacon, shredded lettuce and all for about the same price as what the Subway Club would have cost me. In fact I was going to order the 6 in. Club at Subway and at Firehouse theirs are an 8 inch for about the same price with much more meat and ingredients. With so much competition in this area I do not see why I should patronize Subway any longer as I can get so much more sandwich for the same buck in lots of other sandwich shops.

Bad service!!! The store had only two very young boys working behind counter and the were unable to keep up and they were basically incompetent. There seemed to be no adult supervision on site. In the past Ive been very happy with this store. It one of the few that offer the gluten free rolls that I need. I appreciate that. However I strongly suspect that the Teriyaki Chicken is not gluten free because I was sick almost before I left the store despite being reassured that it was gluten free. My friend was given a sandwich that had not been completely sliced so she returned to the counter to have them slice it. No big deal! Except that they failed to get it sliced that time.. So once again back to the counter were after some unpleasantness they managed to get it sliced. Third time is not for charm when it comes to sandwiches.

Unfortunately, I agree with the negative posts. This location has the worst customer service, ever. Ive patronized only as a convenience to me. No one seems happy and not accommodating, at all. Maybe management can find people that actually want to work and can learn the concept of customer service.
