First and foremost, ,my initial experience was great. However my family and I sat down to dine in and the girl employee brought our food to us in togo boxes. When questioned she stated "we are about to close in like five mins" basicly asking us to leave so we did. Discruntled and beside ourselves at the lack of customer service. Astonished, I have never received such horrible service. Only good thing I can state is that the burgers were great. My boyfriend has been going here since he was a kid but due to the lack of good service he will not be going ever again. I dont blame him...you never kick a customer out...especially if you are willing to take their money.

The place normally has good burgers. I ordered a cheeseburger today WELL DONE and it came to me very bright PINK. I am very unhappy with the product that was served to me. I was disgusted. I called back to complain as I was already back at work trying to enjoy my quick 30 minute lunch only to find that the food was raw and I didnt have enough time to go get something else to eat. The person that answered the phone Boris stated that if I brought back pictures of the raw burgers that the manager would replace them. I was unable to have lunch today and needless to say Im beyond ticked off, but we will see how well this replacement burger goes.

I have never had a bad meal here, and I go to both the Richardson and Plano locations at least once a week. Not a big, shiny, fancy place, just little hole-in-the-wall places with fantastic food that is cooked to order. Try the chili burger, it is huge and has so much good homemade chili that you have to eat it with a knife and fork because there is no way to pick it up. Frito pie is absolutely to die for, and if you want something instead of their wonderful french fries, try the fried green beans. If you want atmosphere and bling, this is not for you. If you want unbelievable old-fashioned burgers, go to Burger Island.

I recently moved to Richardson...from Uptown Village area and was shocked to find such a great burger place. I am spoiled with Angry Dogs cheeseburgers but couldnt drive downtown to get one. Burger Island is small, but quainte! You get served quickly and they have a tv for your dining experience. The fries are fresh, large, and they are a large size order, so is the cheeseburger. Really love this place!!!!! Oh, and the restrooms are very clean!!!

There Burgers were amazing. I went to the store since last year. I go there couple times a month. Every time I go I am amazed with there burgers,and fries. I tried the new egg sandwich, and it was great. I usally eat Chilly cheese burger. I think the service got better than before. The new owners gave me an extra fried mushrooms for free. The store isnt fancy, but its clean, and service is good, and value is good.

I only do a burger once every couple of months and try to make it good. Burger Islands burger was a fortunate choice. Super juicy and tasty. I had the Big Island. I also stole a couple bites of a chiliburger which was excellent as well -- great tasting chili. Fries and rings were good. Ill probably do take out again next time vs dining in but will definitely be back.

I just cant get enough of this place! Since the one in Allen closed, Ive been driving all the way out to Richardson to get my fix and its worth the trip every time. I dont recommend anything on the menu but their burgers and fries, but they do the best in DFW for thick, loaded, juicy burgers. My personal order is a Double Jungle Burger with Seasoned Fries.

The burger wasnt bad at all....however my 6.50 bacon cheese burger quickly went from 6.50 to 8.00+ dollars before i even added fries and drink...was charged $2.00 extra for wanting cheddar and jalapeños instead of American cheese when the burger came with cheese??? My overall total was $12.00 and some change for a 6.50 burger! Overpriced to the extreme

This place has pretty good burgers for the price you pay. So far, this is one of my 2 favorite places for getting burgers. In-n-out and five guys cant hold a light to this place. The people who work there are pretty friendly. For example, the last time I was there with 3 other people, they gave us a sample of their funnel fries while we were eating.

Didnt know how I missed this place all these days! Wow! The burgers here are so tasty and awesome. Who knew veggie burgers could be this tasty!! Was soo good, I didnt have time to take a picture as I was busy eating !! It was a giant juicy burger! Will definitely order again.

Burgers and fries are fantastic. Stay away from the iced tea. While it is thankfully brewed, not canister tea, they clearly dont have a proper schedule to refresh the tea. It smelled like a sewer, suggesting that it hadnt been refreshed in days.

UNDERRATED - Burger Island is a great chain. Due to the price, I dont go often, but it is definitely worth what you pay. The fries are great, the onion rings are better. If you go with a friend, I recommend you order both and split them.

Cant get enough of this place!!!! great employees who get the order right and out to you fast. my personal favorites are the philly and the chicken philly. next up for me to try is the double jungle! i have heard great things about it.

This is the best burger and best deal in the area. And it made with real meat that is fresh. Combo cheese burger with fries and drink for under $7.00. Thats a deal. Be hungry. The burgers are made with 1/2 pound of meat!
