Had a burger here yesterday (5/20/17) and couldnt even finish it (nor could my wife). Ive eaten here many times and dont remember being turned off, its been a while since we visited.. The burger is way over seasoned, I can get past that. But the texture of the meat is what stopped me from even eating half of it.. I am almost positive this is a preformed frozen Patty. It had that texture, the perfect circular puck and uniform thickness that the frozen burgers do.. The meat didnt have any griddle sear on it and the sides had the blood bubbles common with frozen burgers, just gross.. When I eat burgers at joints like this I want them forming the patty, it needs that texture. It needs the griddle sear on both sides too.. If I wanted status quo Ill go to a fast food drive thru.. Paid 25 bucks for 2 burgers and sides and left disappointed.. at least the fries were tasty, which is the only reason I gave 2 stars..

Have visited at least 3 times the last couple of months for to go orders. Service was great and the burgers are always done to perfection. Taste is superior to many other burger places. Two things that have disappointed m:, every time I have asked for any of the exotic meats they advertise they are not available or are only available on certain days but they dont say which days. Also they only have one size cup and it is only about 12 ounces not really worth it for take out as I then have to order two cups. Love the pickles though and that is a nice bonus.

I had a burger on the Pretzel Bun with mayo and onion but I have to say a couple things that were wrong. One, after awhile the Pretzel bun gets soggy and becomes hard to eat without using a fork and knife. Two, the meat was redish-pink in the middle, which ended up giving me food poisoning the next day. I usually have a strong stomach but this did not sit well with me and I will not be visiting any time soon.

Burgers are great, and atmosphere is nice. They would have gotten a 5 star rating from my if they did not stop serving the fried green beans. Their reason for not serving them is that theyre coming out with a new recipe. Why arent they still serving the current ones until then?! We almost left when we found that out, its the biggest reason we came here.

Love the burgers here. Great big juicy burgers, plus a lot of the time they have wild game meat instead of just boring hamburgers, try elk, venison etc... all great. But some can be pricey. All the fries and fried stuff one could ever want, expect to wait in line for lunch, place fills up quick and stays that way. Cant go wrong with this place.

I walked in this store and was greeted by a small child wearing nothing but a diaper sitting on the counter. Talk about a food safety disaster. Tables were messy. The one in Richardson is far better. Will not be coming back to this one. Whomever is franchising this one needs to get their act together.

One of my favorite burger places! I always go when I am in town. All burger options are good I do not have a favorite. The sweet potato chips are a must as well as trying out their root beer and teas. They also have really fun pickle options. It is a must go if you are in the area!

Although newer high end burger places have moved into the area, Twisted Root will always be one of my favs. Each location has a different theme. The Fairview location resembles an outdoor drive in movie, complete with actual car seats at your table. Great burgers and a fun atmosphere.

Cool ambiance, wide selection, and interesting idea of having "Celebrity names" attached to the order. HOWEVER, I was not impressed by the quality of the meat at all. I could taste the fat and grease in my burger. It makes me sad, but I wont be coming back to this place.

Love Twisted Root burgers. Always cooked fresh, big and juicy, with plenty of options. The pickles are terrific (you know what I mean if youve been there), and theres always at least one exotic burger at any given time (camel is terrific). All locations are top notch.

6 of my family went there and ordered all different kinds of burgers and we sliced into pieces to share and taste each of them. I cannot say I didnt like them, but they tasted almost the same and all of them were Too greasy and Too salty. However, flavorful.

Went with the elk western style burger. Hard to tell it was a game animal, but still very delicious. Cannot wait to try all the other game meats they offer. Highly refcomend it to anyone wanting a good burger. A little pricey, but it did not disappoint.

Being able to make a custom burger is awesome. This place leans on the expensive side but was still crowded. Probably because its so unique and delicious. Every shake Ive ever tried from twisted root is out of this world.

Love their Twisted Mule, but last 2 time it waseither out or tasted flat....Justin is a manager and tries to make things right. Jess is a GM and could learn a thing or 2 about customer relations and how to talk to people.

Solid 3 stars. Overpriced and the order was wrong, missing avocado. Food wasnt horrible but wouldnt be my first choice for a great burger. I tried the wagyu beef and it wasnt anything special compared to other places.

Cashier was very rude to me when I was ordering. Following this rude interaction, she then proceeded to tell the girl after me how "I was mean to her". Unbelievable behavior by customer service, will not be returning.

The restaurant is currently hard to find due to construction. The food was extremely tasty and they call out famous figures such as Lance Armstrong whenever your order is ready. Each item is ordered individually.
