Ordered a bunch of things(1lb of shrimp, mussles, crawfish, crab), and their wings with special sauce. The wings sauce was the seafood sauce and it doesnt go good with chicken. The shrimp, crawfish, and crab werent cooked right. It was hard to get the shell off(it was sticking to the meat). Spiciness goes from 1 to 10. Ordered a 3 and it was so spicy that our lips were burning. They said their 3 was medium spicy (idk why 5 isnt mediun). We wanted it mild and that was more spicy than any mediun Ive ever had. The sauce wasnt that good neither. I wanted to tell the server but the person I was with didnt want to and we couldnt wait another 20 minutes to get new food. I dont get how this place has reviews from a year ago since they just opened. Before it was a Mexican restaurant there. And right when we got there the server was killing a little bug on the floor. I think thats a problem with the building not their cleanliness though. Maybe we just had a bad experience but wont go there again since theres others places near by that havent messed up cooking the food right.

- Order it to-go and its ready in 15 mins or so, and still steaming hot when you get home. - Prob half the price of Boiling Crab or less - No hour plus wait like at Boiling Crab - They have 10 levels of spice, ranging from mild to sear your tongue - Live crawfish, washed 6 times, and very clean - The shrimp and crawfish have been of good size every time we have been - Very tasty and sweet blue crab (when in season) - Very friendly staff, especially Jack (The Owner) So lets re-cap. Go to Bear Bay, save a bunch of cash, finish eating by the time your food would even get to the table(or maybe even by the time youre seated), and get deliciously spiced fresh seafood. Doesnt seem like a tough choice to me, well be back many times in the future...

Worst place ever and overpriced!!! I am a native of New Orleans, so I know a lot about seafood and catfish. Several ceiling tiles were leaking all over the floor and the floor was wet - no caution signs or towels trying to clean it up. Placed an order and was told it was going to take 20 minutes. Ordered 3 Catfish baskets and an order of onion rings. They forgot the onion rings, so I had to wait longer for them to make them. The "catfish" they claim to serve, is NOT catfish! It is actually SWAI, which is native to Southeast Asia and also CHEAPER than Catfish (go price it at Walmart). We are being RIPPED off and charged for CATFISH, when we are actually eating SWAI!!!

Great Seafood in a Nondescript Location. The Snow crab legs I ordered were good even though crab may not be the best item to get to for a work lunch cause you have to break through those shells. But the winner was the sweet potatoe fries on the side. Im not sure how their spice range accuracy. They gave me a range of 1-10 and I told them 100. I think that was a good thing because any lower and the crabs may have been mild. Call it in and you can be in and out in 3 minutes. Star off for no crabshell breaker and spice level inaccuracy and for early closings.

Absolutely the best crawfish in Dallas - and Ive tried most of them. Not steamed in a bag, and not drenched in corn oil like most other places. Instead, the crawfish are boiled in seasoned water and coated in a rich, amazing wet seasoning mix, including tons of fresh minced garlic. Just otherworldly goodness. The prices are great, the owner is very friendly and helpful. The ambience is minimalist (long tables in a corner of convenience store) but who cares with food this good.

Laid back Cajun/Asian seafood restaurant. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Its very easy to over order and get to much food since you order by the pound. The quality of the seafood was very good. Very messy eating. Not a first date place! The two missing stars is because of the bathrooms. Both the womens and mens were in very bad condition and not clean. To me the bathroom condition mirrors the kitchen conditions. Because of this I cant recommend this restaurant.

Amazing shrimp!!!! #1 sauce is what I always order. I dont like spicy food. And the #1 is plenty spicy for me. My son and I always come here when we are in the mood for great authentic southern style shrimp. Dont judge the book by its cover. Although its inside a gas station, the restaurant is great. They have a small seating area. But I always take mine to go. Bear bay shrimp is the best shrimp my son ever tasted.

This place is amazing. I came here for visiting me friends from San Jose and my friends brought me there. I fall in love with this place after eating those spicy seafood, and I started missing it on the second day. I tried to find samiliar tastes near San Jose but I did not find it. I will come to Dallas again only for this~

Hands down the best tasting seafood restaurant I have ever had since I moved here to Dallas from NYC!!!!! Its just magical how they combine the Cajun Crawfish with Asian spices, just brilliant~ Looking forward to the day they got a proper space for their restaurant!

LOVE this place! Nicest people ever and food was amazing! True hole in the wall perfection. Fresh shrimp and snow crab swimming in spicy sauce heaven. This is a wear the plastic bibs and sauce to your elbows joint and well worth the effort. We will definitely be back!

Liked the breeding on catfish and shrimp. Wings were good but a little dry. Wish they accepted online orders because there is a little language barrier but we got her food ordered ;). Fries are ok. The boiled stuff smelled great and will be my next order
