I am one owner of a small technology company in Irving TX. We often take clients to business lunches or host lunch events. This Red Lobster is closest to our office and geographically convenient. They are also surrounded by many very well run competing establishments. Today, we again tried this Red Lobster in hopes that the experience would be pleasant and enjoyable. Service and product at this location have been in a steady state of decline for the last year and today was consistent with the trend. We were seated promptly and the server asked if we were under any Lunch Time Constraints. (Good Start). From there, the experience rapidly deteriorated. Order Taking, Order Delivery, Order Checkout all were glacial activities. Today there were two of us having lunch. (Often there are 4 or more) One entree (a Grilled Chicken Salad) was well prepared and presented. The chicken was dry and overcooked but still this was eaten. The other entree was a Chicken and Shrimp Scampi combination with a salad. The food was visibly unappealing and the portion was small. The quality of the food was low grade. The taste was also not fresh or enjoyable. We have had this product at other locations recently and the quality and presentation were significantly better. There should not be this much of a variance between chain locations in the same market unless there is a management problem. Additional issues: Missing Silverware. Dirty Silverware Wrong Silverware (Large Soup spoon to stir in a small coffee cup) VERY SLOW service. Room was very cold and we heard other customers also comment about the temperature. This restaurant was not busy so there really was no excuse for poor service. We work hard for our money and we expect good value in return. This location is now off our list.

Very disappointing! My girlfriend is in town and has never been to red lobster before. Ive been to red lobster in different locations and have not had a problem with any of those until today. First off, it took 15 minutes for the waiter to come to our table and ask what we wanted to drink and we decided to go ahead and order. Then it took 10 minutes to get our drinks and biscuits. Guys I am not kidding. My girlfriend started timing everything cause she was that frustrated. The bad thing is that they werent busy. People who came in 15-20 minutes after us got their food and check before us. I got a side salad and that took forever to come out. We didnt get our food until 45 minutes after we got our drinks. (I forgot to mention that the waiter gave me the wrong drink too.) I order shrimp linguini Alfredo and it was alright. It was hot when I got it. However, my girlfriends crab legs were cold and she had to ask the waiter about her baked potato. He said he forgot about it and she didnt get that until 12 minutes later. When she did get it, it was hot. She was really disappointed and contemplated about getting the manager. We were both tired and didnt really want to deal with it so we paid for the food and tipped the waiter. He seemed really nervous the entire time so I assumed he was new. My girlfriend is more than likely going to call the manager tomorrow. Service was extremely slow, cold food, and did not enjoy our experience here.

I eat here regularly, for years now as it is near my work. I do not know what happened today... I pulled up shortly after 1pm and the parking lot was empty. I did not recognize any of the wait staff they all looked new and one was sitting by the bar saying that it was "good" that it was slow. There were only 4 patrons in the entire restaurant. The bartender asked me 3 times whether I said cup or bowl of soup when I finally ordered and it took about 7-8 minutes to get an ice tea which came from the kitchen. The Bartender never returned with my ranch dressing before I finished my meal, but did put food next to the register that she didnt seem to know who it belonged to after she tried serving it to a guy waiting still to order. A mgr came out to the register and didnt even look around to see a table not yet acknowledge or the gentlemen in front of him waiting to order. He saw the food in his way of the register but with no concern someones meal was going cold, he ignored it. I watched a table walk out due to the wait on being greeted. I dont know what happened at this establishment. I have been coming for lunch for years. But clearly something was off. No familiar faces and the ones that were there seemed lost and confused. And their leader had no interest. Not a good lunch hour break.

We decided to take my parents here as a farewell dinner since this is one of their favorite restaurants. The waiter was amazing and I have no complaints on that at all. However I think the bartender and the staff need some education on alcohol they have in the restaurant. We asked for Fireball Whiskey shots and we were told they did not carry Fireball. We asked for several other types of shots and again told they did not carry the liquor as well. I was offended when the Manager came to us and stated "sorry there are lots of liquors we do not carry. We are not like a club." First of all I have not been to a club in over 8 years; second of all these are drinks that we order at other restaurants we go to around the area. We did not want to ruin the dinner for our parents so we just asked for BEER. My husband got up to go to the bathroom towards the end of our dinner and spotted the Fire Ball Whiskey at the bar. I did not believe him so I went to check for myself and sure enough there it was. Like I said the service from the waiter was great but I just feel that a little more education is needed.

My husband and I visited this location for a date night and the only thing we really enjoyed was the food. Our server overshared about his day to start off our experience. We ordered our appetizer with our drinks which took roughly 20 min to even get to the table. We ordered a few min later and were still waiting on biscuits. About 5 min later, our server came back by and informed us they had already put away salads before 9 pm. He didnt offer any other option and still hadnt brought out any of their biscuits. We had to remind him about them. Our food arrived just after our appetizer which was tasty. My husband asked for steak sauce which also took a reminder when he came back around a few min later. Once the bill was delivered, he asked if we wanted change then informed us of how much was brought back when he delivered the change. The food was good but the service was awful. Cant see ever going back there again.

First, Im not one to write reviews. If I could give a negative 100, I would. Let me begin by talking about the initial entrance. The greeting was horrible. Saul says "Yall all together? Can I get a name?" While waiting for 12 minutes and 32 seconds for a restaurant that clearly wasnt busy to sit us at a table that was not occupied when we walked in the restaurant to toss our menus and silverware was ridiculous then as we sat at the table and no-one said hello Ill be right with you or no waters to even hold us off was crazy we sat at the table for another 5 minutes to not be recognized by anyone I had it I asked my kids wife and mother to get up so we could leave. Went next door to olive garden. Completely different experience. Red lobster will resemble joes crab shack next door if they dont train their staff properly. People want to feel welcomed when they walk in to an establishment to spend their money.
