Weve dined at Rockfish several times in the past and its always been good. We enjoy the food and atmosphere. (A few years ago one of the Managers even gave us a few free app coupons when he heard it was my birthday - very friendly guy.) We decided to dine there on the evening of May 29th to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday. We had our 6 month old son with us. We arrived around 6:30 or 7 and were seated immediately near the fireplace. Our server was a woman and was friendly at first, however once a 4 top of "biker" guys/gals sat next to us (seemed like super friendly people) she immediately started ignoring us and completely focused on them. I dont know if she meant to ignore us or what but it was very disappointing. We werent demanding or rude at all and our baby was very well behaved. We even gave her a coupon at the very end that we received for my husbands birthday and she didnt even wish him a happy birthday or anything. I was a server for several years and I know how to provide a great experience and this was definitely not it. My husband left feeling unsatisfied with his birthday celebration and I was so irritated and dumbfounded by what we had experienced. :( Unfortunately we wont be going back any time soon and will let others know what our experience was like.

Everything has been great every time I have been to Rockfish until this one time today. I ordered my usual the american breakfast with extra burbon sauce on the side. I get home and I wait for about 20 mind to let the sauce firm up so I can pour it on my sweet potato pancakes. Well this time its runny and has a funny taste to it. So I call to tell them thats something is wrong with it so they need to check it. The lady tells me how the sauce is which I already know and I explained to her how runny and funny tasting it was. Right when I was about to ask for some more i all I hear is " Ok I guess Ill check it" and the phone hung up. I called back and no one answered. Some might call it petty but this is the main reason I come to Rockfish almost every weekend or every other weekend. You cant have the pancakes without the sauce. I would have thought right off the bat she would have checked it....and believe me if she did she would have known it was wrong and has a bad taste. Oh well I guess its time to find a new spot for brunch....The only reason I give two stars is because of the customer service on the one time I had a problem.....other than that this is a great place to go and eat. P.S. its been a hour and a half and the bourbon sauce is still watery, look and smell bad.....wow

I had the half poboy (oyster) and soup (gumbo). The sandwich was a good size for a lunch portion, but the oysters a little over-cooked and the bottom of the bread a bit soggy. The gumbo was loaded with shrimp and sausage and had a good flavor without being too spicy. The fries were a bit limp and starchy - not a big fan. Overall acceptable quality and value. Service was occasionally lacking, but Im beginning to lower my standards with young people today. Note - my wife had the crawfish, which were pre-seasoned and a little spicy if youre looking for mild (otherwise spot on). The baked potato was undercooked, but quickly replaced. While we werent disappointed with our lunch, I wouldnt say we will be rushing back.

Really, I feel Rockfish Seafood Grill is Underrated; John & Brett, whom my Fiancee & I have met on two different occasions respectively, were very Positive, Motivated, and very Pleasant to serve us at Lunch on both occasions! Brett, we met yesterday! I also had the opportunity to exchange an email with Steven Daniel, the General Manager, who responded to my email the same day; it was a very cordial experience and I look forward to meeting him on our next visit, which will be very soon!

Have eaten here twice with same results. Grilled Mahi Mahi was overcooked and dry. St Charles and Ponchartrain sauces tasted like they were out of a jar. Rockfish platter everything but the oysters were overcooked, crawfish tails tasted burned. Oysters were only partially done nothing worse than 1/2 done oysters, either raw or cooked but not 1/2 done. But hey the fries and sweet tea were good. Will not return to this location.

Good selection of fresh fish, prepared multiple ways to please your palate. Try one of the baskets (ie catfish, oyster) which come with jalapeño hush puppies. Sweet and spicy. Did I mention the barrel of peanuts by the door? Fill up a bucket for your pre-meal snack and remember to throw those peanut shells on the floor. What "kid" doesnt love that?!

Great service, great food. The Wild Alaskan Salmon special was really good, and so was the Cajun Combo. I went with my family for my Moms birthday and we were in a rush to get her to a massage appointment. We were seated fast, served fast and we managed to be in and out in less than 40 minutes without having to hurry. Truly enjoyed the experience.

I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. I cant do caffeine, but didnt care for the coffee. Our waitress went to Starbucks and brought me decaf Italian roast. I was stunned and will be back. All the service people were happy and friendly. Kudos to the management. Long may you prosper.

Finally tried Rockfish, it was waay beyond my expectations. I ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon with some hesitancy because of the menu description. Needless to say, it was REALLY good. So much so that I ordered another one to go! Would def recommend this place to all seafood lovers.

Casual, affordable seafood chain. Seasonal and regional specialties are well prepared. Nothing too adventurous, but there are some interesting twists on old favorites (i.e. Crab cake/fried green tomato stack). Good selection of non-seafood items for picky eaters.

This location is easy to get to and there is plenty of free parking. The menu is the same as at other locations. The food is always good and usually the wait service is acceptable. Prices are very reasonable. There are specials available each day.

My boyfriend and I shared a meal with like 3 lbs of crawfish, shrimp, corn, sausage, and a cluster of crab legs for 40 bucks. We added another cluster for $7. We were so full! The waitress didnt check on us very often, but it was kind of busy.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly and competent staff. Bar tender was very nice. Drinks were very good. Food was good, but not excellent. Marginally worth the price. Recommend for a place to occasionally dine at. Good value with a coupon.
