WOW. Excellent Ramen. So many options. If you love ramen, this is the place you need to be. There are so many excellent choices. Ramen is so great here. There are different types of ramen noodles and dishes. There are so many add-ons as well. Be careful though. The regular price of ramen is around 8 dollars which is a great value, but then each item can cost 50 cents to 2 dollars. So, it was a little pricey for me, but still around 14 dollars. You can also add more ramen noodles too, if you are hungry. I love the tonkotsu, but my wife had the veggie broth with mushrooms and ginger and THAT BLEW MY MIND. That was so good. Just because it was a veggie ramen, you can still add chicken or beef or tofu. That is what I love about the place. You can mix and match. The staff was excellent. The dining area is small, especially for large groups, but very accomodating. There is a sushi bar if you are by yourself. They also have sushi, and appetizers which were excellent.

This place sucks. I am a Ramen-Addict and had the craving hit hard today. Saw Monta and had to stop. I never have the time to sit down and eat but i went in to order, the atmosphere is pretty awesome but the noodles and broth need to step up their game. I ordered spicy tonkotsu. I also order extra broth and is usually like a dollar or two. They charged $4! The pork was razor thin, mostly fat and almost non-existent. The noodles were stuffed into a styrofoam cup so tightly they never actually came apart after soaking in the broth. The broth was so salty and thick like full cream. It wasnt enjoyable. They wanted $2.50 for an egg, wasnt included. Nor the usual naruto. The spicy paste was on the side, who wants to mix in their own spice?? If youre in the area and want ramen go to either Maru Ramen. Its delicious, on the other side of 75. If youre west of the tollway go to Ramen Hakata. But God forbid, i wont be returning to Monta Ramen, it was a big disappointment.

Update 5/07/17 Service for the past 5 visits has been excellent! Maybe I just had some bad luck 3 times in a row. Food has also been super delicious and authentic in flavor. Props for it turning around. Keep it up guys! Update: service has been hit or miss for the past couple of visits. I dont know if this is due to most of the floor staff being young (college aged at the least for multiple of them) or maybe Im just a bit impatient. Waiting time just for taking our drink order has been 10 mins food 30 mins or so. Best ramen in Dallas..period. Very cozy and traditional Japanese dining area. Felt like I was at an authentic ramen eatery when I was seated at the bar. Portions are massive as well. Id recommend this place to anyone whos got an interest in cultural food thats into Asian non Indian food.

My family of five tried this out and were very pleased. Each of us ordered a different ramen dish. I went adventurous with the kuro (black garlic oil) ramen. The tonkotsu, miso, shoyu, kuro, and spicy versions were all delicious. The kuro is definitely a specialty though, so read the description to avoid being too surprised, but if you like garlic I highly recommend it. We also enjoyed the gyoza and wasabi appetizers. If we had been impatient or would have been easy to fill up on appetizers, but what a loss that would have been! I dont know about other locations, but the family running this ramen house makes it a treat!

The worst service ever! Some waitress should just quit if shes not capable of waiting tables. Waited 20 mins after seated before someone came and took our drink order. She totally forgot about telling us about the Facebook promotion they have going on. Then we were left there inattentioned. When we were served with appetizers, we were not offered sharing plates even though we were a table of 4. Food was barely ok. Takoyaki was still raw inside. Edamame was undercooked. The worst part is their ramen soup is so oily and salty, you wouldnt be able to drink it. It was almost like some dipping sauce instead of ramen soup.

The ramen is very flavorful and authentic though it can be too oily for the average stomach. Every time Ive gone, Ive gotten delicious ramen but an upset stomach afterwards. While the egg and other add ons are also well done, the bowl only comes with noodles, broth, and pork standard. When you add up all the things that come standard in ramen from other places, the price is about the same if not slightly more. If you like ramen, you will like this place. In addition, you can also check out yama sushi and Maru ramen, for other places with really good ramen in Dallas.

Me and some friends went for lunch. You sigm in at a guest sheet for your Name & # of people. Theyll accommodate each party by order and how many people in your group. They got tables and a bar counter which is easier to get sitted if pick it. You can hear some of the employees speaking Japanese which feels like eating in Japan. I ordered Takoyaki as an appetizer which we devoured it and Curry Ramen for my main dish, It tasted awesome! Servers are friendly and the place isnt that big, so prepare to wait on meal times.

This place is tiny and always packed! So if you want to get food, do come early or during off time. Ramen-wise, everything is relatively standard: chose your broth, extra toppings and extra noodles. I like the white noodle, because it doesnt feel as heavy as the yellow one. You can also choose a Chicken Only ramen broth, so that you can take your Indian friends here (those that eat chicken and veggies)! Service is good, fast. We got our ramen 2 minutes after ordering. Highly recommended!

Great price and great food. Ive tried all the ramen on the menu. The tonkotsu ramen is quite good but the shoyu ramen is lacking. The miso is way to salty. Almost all their ramen is a little too salty compared to other restaurants. Try the karaage if a typical ramen bowl doesnt fill you up. This is the only restaurant that I frequent that sells karaage and they cook it perfectly. Despite the salty broth, the karaage and cheap price makes up for lost love.

Monta Ramen is our new go-to place for ramen. The staff is extremely friendly, and the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. Try the takoyaki, shishito peppers, or the pork buns for appetizers. The Kuro Black Garlic Ramen is incredibly rich and flavorful, especially if you add some spicy sauce to it. I have been recommending this place to anyone that will listen, definitely the best ramen is DFW.

Great atmosphere, Fantastic Ramen that was also very filling. Very friendly and very understanding staff. Even though they missed a part of my order, they immediately apologized and brought it out as soon as they could. Would reccomend these guys to anyone, whether looking to try something new, a cool place to meet up with friends, or avid ramen lovers.

名古屋限定の「台湾ラーメン」がメニューに追加‼️ 愛知県出身者には、たまりませんね。早速食べましたが、美味しかったです。台湾ラーメンには、5つ星を入れます〜。ロサンゼルスでも食べれませんよ。

Very friendly place, great service, Ive only ever had better ramen at one other location I Texas but that place was also slightly more expensive. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and was disappointed at how mild it was, I was expecting something much spicier. If they can add something with a lot more heat to the menu I would be very happy
