Walked in with a party of 3 around 5:15pm on a Saturday. The restaurant looked to be running at about 85% capacity at that time. We were seated quickly on the patio, but it was too windy with the cooler weather. They had no problem re-seating us inside. The menu was easy to read, and well-organized with plenty of relevant information about the dishes. Service was quick. I ordered the Sriracha Chicken Sandwich, and no appetizers or dessert since I had a late lunch. The Sriracha aioli sauce complemented that tender, juicy chicken very well, and the cucumber salad on top provided balance to the spicy sauce with a fresh, bold flavor. To provide a metaphor for how well the cucumber salad complemented the sandwich, it was basically like enjoying a refreshing cold beverage while youre soaking in a hot tub. Im not really a fan of the crunchy, stiff french baguette that these ingredients sat on, but it held the sandwich together where most other types of bread would likely fall apart. The cajun fries that came with my sandwich were just okay. I was expecting more of a spicy bite with the "cajun" label, but they were more like the half-way point between regular fries and sweet potato fries. They were cooked properly, though... not too crispy or limp. The flavors and service were great this time around. Even after being re-seated to get out of the cold wind on the patio, we were still in and out in less than an hour. I will be back, and probably with more people next time.

I had choice of a one hour wait or sit on a heated patio on a cold night. I sat outside. For some reason they did not drop all the patio covers. Letting all the heat out and a cold breeze through. I was seated by a hostest. A waitress came when everyone was in the restroom and I asked her come back when the other get to the table. She told me no problem. 20 MINS LATER!! I wish I was lying. We flagged down another server to get are waiter. When she arrived she looked at my party and said "Sorry but this man here told me that he will get someone else to take your orders." It took everything I had not to lose my cool. If I had not promised to take my sister here for dinner we would have walked out! So we ordered and got our food. We all tried a bit off each others plate. Came to the conclusion that the food is over priced and we talked about restaurants that we liked more. The only exception to this was dessert. The dessert was great!!! Another great thing about this place is its a dog friendly environment. But the service was okay and food was over priced for the quality. If you want a fun atmosphere and dessert try this place out. But be warned that it wiil be a uncomfortable table experience. I did see the manager thst night but he was very unapproachable. I dont see myself wanting to ever go back.

Lots of screaming kids in a restaurant that seems geared to young adults - judging by the beer and wine menu and woody atmosphere. We were inside, but there was one giant, really hairy dog at the table behind us. They dog stayed laying down, but was ignored by its owner and spent most of the meal watching the lady at the next table eat. Very salty appetizer dips, stale chips with random amounts of paprika poured on them, cold french fries, so many wet things added to the hamburgers that the buns were consigned to soaking them up. My wife had the (new) Charred Lemon Chicken that was supposed to be an entree, but was actually a salad with about a 2 oz. piece of chicken on top... and wasnt "charred". The fairly extensive beer menu had no prices, and when I asked, the waitress advised: "I dont know. If you tell me a particular one, I can go ask." (You have one job.) She came back once just after the food was served and asked how everything looked. Never came back to see if we needed anything or how it tasted. As my sister-in-law pointed out: "this is a restaurant that you can now say Ive been to".

Would You Rather: be spit on, or have drink dumped on you? Pro: amtosphere, different, dogs were cool, artsy, cute things in the details, fast seating and food for how busy they were Cons: expensive, bad waiter and manager, non memorable (restaurant that is, not the experience/story), food was just ok-i have tasted a lot better for the price Story: 1. Waiter spit on me while talking to us about the food (like a lot) 2. Waiter dumped my drink (like the entire thing) all over my back, and it was a lemonade so i was sticky the entire meal. 3. Manager never came out to apologize or ask if i was ok (sign of bad leadership) 4. I didnt expect a handout but something more than just a free dessert for my troubles Besides the bad experiences i had, the restaurant has potential (hence the 2 stars instead of 1). Not everyone will have the waiter i did but by the sign (or lack thereof) of the manager i dont think waiter improvement will get better.

This is our second visit to Lazy Dog. I love the post modern country decor, with the veams and metal animal sculptures. Super clean, lots of natural and accent lighting. Wait staff is perky, genuine and friendly. They believe in the brand and proudly state their favs on the menu. Then there are the drinks. The first time, I have a Thyme cucumber lemonade...so delish: even my non-veggie friendly husband gave it a thumbs up! Today I tried the strawberry bourbon shrug. Fresh, perfectly sweetened with bruised mint, refreshing and awesome. I had the carnitas with potato hash off of the brunch menu; my husband had a baked berry pancake. With hickory smoked bacon baked in, and fresh whipped cream on the side. Both were amazing, fresh, hot and delish. The sauce wss incredible, the blend of flavors was so good. This is my new favorite eatery...I told my husband we now have to have a weekly Lazy Dog lunch day!

The place was busy but seating was fast. Our waitress, Mikayla, was great at making suggestions and helping us get our order right and took excellent care of us. We started by using our yelp check in coupon for Cajun fries, very good. I ordered from their impressive craft brew menu the Lazy Dog IPA, which I really liked. For dinner, I had the schnitzel with potato salad and cole slaw. It had a pretzel crust that was really good. My wife had the Maggies snake river salad which she claimed as most awesome. My sons went for the grilled cheese and cheese burger, which they both really liked. The menu had a really good cross section of comfort food selections. The atmosphere is great, we sat in bar area in range of several big screen tvs. The outdoor heated patio is dog friendly and was well populated by a bunch of four legged patrons. Definitely going to bring the doggies back with us as it warms up.

Feel ignored, I can butcher the cow and cook the burger faster than they can just cook a burger and bring it to me. Table was not clean. Over 30 minute wait. The manager gave us a free dessert for the trouble, but our server still acted as if we really did not exist. She never refilled drinks or even asked. Our food was held up for some reason and we dont know what we did to deserve that. She just took our order and never came back. We watched our food under the warmer and it required way to much time to be brought it to us. There were many staff just milling about and not....serving? Excellent food, but really bad service. We should have left or the manager should have covered our meal for the rudeness. The staff at the door never even said good bye when we left. Really confused what we did to deserve such poor service. At least the restaurant name defines the staff.
