Ive come to this location for well over 10 years without any issues. Tonight I placed a to go order. First thing that went wrong: the girl managing the to go orders did not show me my order (they show you your order every time). When I got home my portion of my order was incorrect. I called right away and was told to come back to pickup the correct meal. When I got there the same girl was there managing to go. She asked what I ordered. I ordered chicken fajita quesadillas w no sour cream. They gave me chicken fajitas. She asked if I brought the fajitas back. I told her no, I did not. Most restaurants dont require you to bring back the wrong food. She looked suprised. Shes the one that screwed up my order, & if anything they should give me a free meal anyway. Why would I drive all the way home, then all the way back just for a freebie? I just wanted my CORRECT meal. Just got home with "correct" meal. Pico is on the side for some reason, & there is sour cream when I asked multiple times NO sour cream. Obviously their staff is incompetent tonight. The manager was informed of my situation & was very apologetic. Unfortunately I wont be returning to this location.

I was a regular customer of Mi Cocina because the food is usually very good and the service is normally decent. But on my last visit there around a month ago my wife found a huge hair in her salad half way through the meal. This hair was truly about a foot long! We informed the waiter of this and told him to just take the salad away because she had lost her appetite after eating half a taco salad full of hair. The waiter did not react at all and just took the salad away. No apology, not even a word. We were also charged for the salad! Someone else at our table paid the tab that day and I hadnt realized until after we paid that the salad had not been taken off the bill. Any server at any restaurant in the country knows better than that. They understood everything we said perfectly until we try to tell them we have a problem. I will not be back!

Mediocre mexican food for the price. The green sauce is about the only thing I found to be above average, though the price tag on the food definitely promised much more than we received. Even the salsa was only average at best. If youre looking for the best mexican food around keep looking, if youre looking for the best for your buck then dont even consider it. The margarita was one of the worst Ive ever had. Tasted like cheap mix and even cheaper tequila. The service from our waitress however was above average.

A huge, suburban outpost for the Mi Cocina chain. Not as seductive as the North Dallas or Uptown locations. The food was good, margaritas strong, and prices were great. Service was good as well, but expect wait times as it gets super packed and busy with cougars, businessmen, tech workers, their families, a few young professionals and mom and dad office types on the weekends. The outside patio is great for people watching and conversation though.

I have been there a lot. Great meeting place. The only issue is the personal service of most the bartenders. I get it they are busy but it comes off as rude and very unwelcoming. I am not eager to go back for a while. Especially the thin guy, with the man bun and glasses very short tempered. It is too bad they could smile once and sell more.

Loud & horrible service The food is one level above taco bell. The service is horrible, empty drinks during the entire meal, we could have just walked out on the bill cause after 20 min after we were done eating, we had to ask for it. Im avoiding this place...

Mi Cocina at Legacy in Plano always has great margaritas and food. Last night we had a large group and requested multiple checks. Our waiter (Cruz) accommodated with no problems. Thanks to he and Armando (Manager) for helping us have a great time!

My favorite dish here is Ernies Chicken. But no matter what you order, the food is delicious! Their guacamole tastes good and its fresh. The salsa is not too spicy. No matter how busy they are, their service is always fast.

Very unimpressed with the fish tacos. They were really fishy and didnt taste even remotely fresh. Overall, just an average experience. There are too many other, better options in the area for me to justify going back.

Good avocado dip. Salsa was a little bland but otherwise alright with the food. Got the pick three. Enchiladas had corn tortillas and the tamales were pretty good. Would recommend to visit if you have never been.

Came in at a little before 10:30 pm and we were denied a table. The hostess and a waiter at the front told us they were no longer seating guests since they closed in 30 minutes. A bit absurd and infuriating.

Great go to place for decent TEX-MEX food ,drinks are usually strong ,and like every mi Cocina they are always super busy.. I do have suggestion for management maybe dust off the lights above the tables.

Mamas Chicken and Fajitas at Mi Cocina are always good. The sangria margaritas are the best in Dallas. The corner patio at Mi Cocina Legacy is the perfect people watching spot.
