On Sep 12, 2010 my husband and I stopped to have breakfast before his flight to Tampa. My husband and I are regular customers every couple of weeks we eat there. But this time I witnessed something that will stop us from going back ever. There was a balloon maker there which the kids love and he wears a sign on his shirt saying tips are required. I have seen him many times before but this time I observe him while waiting for out food to be served. He only went to those tables that had white kids never going to a table with african america or hispanic kids. I observe him to a point my food then got cold. I mention to my husband this is annoying. Finally a young african american woman approached him and ask him to come to her table. There were four or more kids sitting with her. He responded by nodding his head but he never went to her table. After 40 mins of watching him dance around them I decided to approaching him on my way out of the I HOP. I told him that it is hurtful when little kids see others with balloons and they cant get one. He became rude and said if you dont like something about me then tell the manager. I called for the manager and explain to him what happen, and he she he would report this incident to the main manager. I would hate to think your corp office would allow someone with that type of prejudice attitude to work in your establishment. I live in Frisco and its a nice little city and we would like to keep it that way. Its time for some one to stand up and stop treating our kids that way beside they know nothing about discrimination yet, lets not teach them before their time. My husbands job here is to help protect this great state but yet we as a people must continue to endure these types of behaviors. Get rid of the Balloon Guy......

Whatever you do, do not eat at this IHOP! The staff is great, but the cleanliness of the restaurant and the quality of the food stinks. If anyone is qualified to rate this restaurant, it is me. Although, I have had many good experiences, the bad experiences were getting to be more and more numerous. Many times, I have been given eating utensils that were dirty, the food was often cold, and the overall quality of the food has become terrible! I have many times found foreign matter in my food, such as insects, hair, plastic, paper, and unidentifiable matter. I had to give up eating there because I wasnt able to enjoy my meal because I was always looking for foreign matter. I blame most of their problems on poor management. Althogh the employees are very courteous and friendly, management is cold and sometimes rude. It seems that customer comfort, safety, and enjoyment takes a back seat to their desire to get the customers money. Because of their poor foresight and planning, I slipped on fell on the ice on their walkways this past December. Instead of being a victim, I quickly became the culprit. I felt they should have at least sanded and/or salted the walkways, but putting money ahead of customer safety seemed to be their goal. Although, they openly admitted their oversight and poor management practices, they failed to help me with my medical bills and to show any concern! I am extremely disappointed in their recent actions, or lack thereof, and with the treatment received. Although, it has been three months since the accident, I am still suffering with frequent headaches, neck pain, right shoulder pain, and right arm pain. IIII might never fully recover!

IHOP is our go to restaurant for weekend or holiday breakfast, we always have great experiences, some of the staff even know us by name. But TODAY the hostess controlling the seating chart was the rudest, meanest person ever to work in the service business, she should get another job!!!! As we all know, you need to give your name upon arrival, normal, everyone waits their turn, normal. But when you see a group being seated that arrived after you got there of course you get a little upset, but I would have loved to hear an apology from this ugly, rude woman " Im so sorry your table is ready as well", not the response I got " they were here first", when I told her, no they were not, I saw them get here a lot later than I did, again I received, " no they were in their car", when I asked to speak to the Manager her response was " I dont care, talk to the manager", really? That is the response I get? That is the way you respect a paying customer? And if she knew she has done something wrong, instead of apologizing, she goes and talks to all the wait staff to put them up to speed on the problem, everyone was staring in our direction, she talked to everyone around us!! How simple an apology would have been. And yes, the manager came to speak to up, said he would get to the bottom of this, but he never came back out EVER!!!! Im not going back to this IHOP, gues the one on Dallas Tollway/Main St. will be getting my business! So sad, such a good place!

Literally the worst service Ive ever experienced. When we were sat down, we noticed that the table hadnt been wiped down and was still sticky (ew). Waitress was horrible. She never came back to check for refills once. Literally not even once. After she took our order, it took over a half an hour to bring out our food (it was only me and one friend, not a bunch of orders). The couple sitting in front of us came after us and got their food 10 minutes before us. It was ridiculous. The wrong kind of eggs were brought out too. I ordered scrambled eggs and they brought out over easy eggs instead. Also, our waitress forgot the utensils, which wouldnt normally be a big deal, but because of everything else, and that it took her way longer than it shouldve to go get them, it was extremely frustrating. Some of the food was delicious. Pancakes and hash browns were perfect. However, the bacon and eggs were extremely undercooked. Since i was with a friend, we wanted separate checks. It took forever to get our checks, and when we finally got it, we discovered she didnt do separate checks (she never even asked separate or one check btw). Not a big deal, but annoying. However, It took much longer than it shouldve to separate the checks. Also, there was an upcharge on my meal that was never communicated to me. I hate to leave such a negative review, because I normally love IHOP, but the service today was just god awful.

We got there and it was already full though we understood that it was a busy night, so it took about half an hour to get a table. After we were sat, we waited another 15 minutes before we got a waitress. However, there were other tables around us that got sat after we got our table and they all got their food and drinks before the waitress finally came to take our orders. It took a long time before we got our drinks and food served. In the end, when we were waiting for our change and debit cards to come back, the waitress Chelsea only brought back the cards and she didnt even give the change back out! That waitress should have returned it and waited for the tip money. Instead she took advantage of one girl and got an 81% tip from her! She just assumed that everyone wouldnt want their change back! The poor girl didnt even speak up because the waitress had already pocketed the money for herself! That Chelsea girl needs to learn how to wait tables before actually doing it out in the real world because she is stealing from guests! It isnt nice or respectful to the guests and a waiter should always give the change back! Never just assume its yours! Overall, it was a horrible experience and if I could, I would give no stars for the service.
