You see a lot of "Irish Pubs" around, but Ive never seen one that seemed at all authentic. If youve one night for fun in Dallas, Trinity Hall is the place you should plan on visiting. It strikes me as one-upping authentic - the food here is simply superb, ranging from solidly good "pub grub" (think loaded potato skins, queso, bacon cheese fries, etc) to some more decadent pleasures: the "Awesome Bucco" is perfectly named (get the version with the shitake glaze), the pork chops are excellent - in fact ALL of the pork items are scrumptious. The more traditionally British fare is all tasty in a rich way (the Irish stew is my favorite, but the shepherds pie, bangers and mash, and fish and chips are all well worth the price. The deserts are wonderful - neither too large (the only possible complaint about most of the entrees) or too rich. The bread pudding is particularly tasty (and friendly to those of you who cant stand raisins). This place is on par with Bostons Publick House for taste and quality (while not necessarily as original or as frequently updated a menu). The beer selection is not as peerless in the region as it once was (The Meddlesome Moth has as deep or deeper a beer selection and menu thats actually superior, in some ways; but without the whiskey options). Im no whiskey expert, but the cellar list here looks truly impressive. The management does pull down a projection screen for sports on a regular basis; but its usually live soccer and rugby that doesnt interrupt the prime hours. As a result, the volume doesnt have to be cranked for the sports fans to enjoy it; but those who are otherwise inclined can still find plenty of quiet for conversation and such. The place also gets packed and loud on Friday and Saturday nights, during which the wait staff is stretched quite thin - if you want a higher quality service experience, come in the afternoon and early evening or visit during the week. That said, most evenings theres live music of the "celtic inspired" variety, so you may be willing to put up with some inconvenience for the additional entertainment. The location is also convenient - with easy access from both I-75 (Central Expressway) and the Red Line, theres plenty of parking. Also, youre a reasonable walk from a number of other bars in the lower Greenville area. 0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

I stumbled upon Trinity Hall many years ago after the North Texas Irish Fest..and can honestly say "I have always had the best experience" ..in fact, everytime I visit Trinity Hall I feel like I am back home in Ireland ...Marius ( owner) is by far the best, very personable, very hospitable, he walks through the crowd and introduces himself, shakes your hand, and makes sure that you have what you need..now honestly how many owners of a pub do that?! and the staff that he chose to work there..you honestly cant beat the hospitality and how they go WAY out of there way to accompany you and your party the moment you walk through the door. I have visited alot of other "irish" pubs in the metroplex but none of them come close to Trinity Hall. Trinity Hall is a REAL irish pub and everything about it is REAL irish. The food is excellent ..(queso is my fav) ..the beer selection and the freshness is by far the best...the Guinness is so fresh ..you would think that St James Gate was just around the corner! and I love the traditional irish music! Kudos to Marius and his excellent staff for the many year of outstanding service! HIGH RECOMMEND Trinity Hall!

I went to Trinity Hall because it was the only place I could find Kilkenny Irish cream ale after a rather arduous search. I had read many places that Kilkenny was simply not shipped to the US and could only be ordered online from individuals who would ship a six-pack of cans for over $20. However, Trinity Hall has it on tap. The rest of the drinks menu is also very impressive and reason enough to try Trinity Hall. The food is incredible. I ordered a beef tenderloin medium rare. It was tender, delicious, and perfectly cooked. The Shepherds pie is also very good. The Chocolate Marquise was a great finish. The prices are also very reasonable considering the high quality of the food. I would have paid $30 for my steak elsewhere, but it was only $22. The atmosphere was very nice and comfortable, not pretentious at all. Soccer games were on flat screen tvs all around the pub. People were there with their friends and families. Everything was very relaxed.

They open early for just about any European soccer, rugby, or Gaelic football game. My group - the Dallas Tottenham Hotspur supporters club - wouldnt exist without the help of Trinity Hall. It is where we met in the beginning and where we still meet for almost everything. If you are not a soccer fan, you may want to avoid Trinity Hall during US National team matches, if you are a soccer fan, get there early! It will be packed and the atmosphere will be amazing. The breakfast is outstanding, I usually order the breakfast sandwich and sometimes I order the Irish toast too. The Irish coffee is great. Other than breakfast I have ordered the buffalo wings a couple of times and they were top notch just like everything else at Trinity Hall. As much as the food, the atmosphere is part what sets it apart from other pubs. Everything is clean and nice. It does not have a "bar" feel to it in the least.

I cant believe they have the guts to call this an Irish Pub when you cant do a Fish and Chip right! That is a requirement like a burger place that cant do a burger right! 1) First when it came out looked like fried burrito not a fish and chips 2) I have never tasted fish that was so bland, horrible! My girl friend said it tasted like Baby food... no flavor. If you want to real Irish / British Pub go to the Londoner at Addison, real shepherds pie, and really good Fish and Chips, I am not joking when I say that Long John Silvers has a better fish and chips than the Trinity Hall Irish Pub, I really wish I was joking.., I will never go back. It didnt help that the bartender had a personality of a wet cardboard, I could forgive that, but food and service sucks.... I am done

Since weve lost Tipperary we keep looking for a replacement. Unfortunately this pub doesnt have that Irish spirit that Tipperary had. I dont drink but I love Irish food. And I love pubs simple cozy atmosphere. Probably because of construction error walls and ceilling reflect each sound back and its so noisy there. Very strange. Food is overpriced probably because of location. And honestly I did not eat what I ordered - it was simple soup with potato, big pieces of carrots, 1/4 of a cabbage head and a very strange pink piece of beef. Almost 13 bucks! No flavor and with a very strange dry small slice of bread. I make better soup at home... I dont think I will come here again..

First, its smoke free, but has a great patio you can smoke on. Second.. Wait I been first!! The beers on tap can not be topped. They are pumped into real pint glasses via ice cold lines running throught the entire trip from keg to glass. Food has a real chef making it and varies oplenty!! Live music is not too loud and not too soft. Lots of siing a longs too!!! By far the best Irish Pub in TEXAS if not the USA!!! Also, if they do not have some random beer that you think to your self there is no way theyll have it. Just ask, they will in the bottle most likely!!! Best overall beer seceltion in Dallas, TX 3years in a row!!!!
