The food was made fresh, you can actually look at the cook through the window they have behind the cashier. The food was fast delivered, maybe because me and my daughter were the only customers in the resturants. I came in at 330. The burger was great, lots of flavor and the garlic fries were ok (it was just fries with minced garlic on top). You can dine in and watch tv while listening to the XM radio they have on the intercom. Milkshake are made fresh in front of you and it tasted great. Price wise was a little high but it was worth it for the service and great flavors of the burger.

Well, no longer our favorite. So sad we have always loved this place, since the first location on 2920. They no longer use blue bell for the shakes, its soft serve now. Started about a month ago. Also not happy with the menu changes. No longer offer a kids burger with fries and a drink. They have chicken strips, grilled cheese or hot dog for kids menu that does include chips and a drink, but not a burger. I had to pay 2.50 to add fries to my kids burger plus add a drink. The burger was still good, just didnt like some of the changes.

Really, really good! Had the Baja burger, cut the mustard, add guac. Among my friends, we ordered regular fries, chili cheese, and cajun. All were great. Also, they have a pepsi freestyle here instead of coke, which is great because I personally prefer Pepsi. Staff was friendly as well, answered all my questions and helped me order. Will be back!

This is now my go to burger place. The hand formed, grilled 1/2 pound black angus burgers are excellent. The fries are fresh cut, hot, and never greasy. And now they have sriracha ketchup. Life is good. I had an " famous" Shake Shack burger the day before and there was no comparison.

We ate there tonight and Loved it! Juicy, Tasty burgers and yummy fries. All 3 of us enjoyed our food! Price was reasonable too for the quality of the food. NOT low fat, but delicious! It was recommended to me by a friend whose family also loves it. Better than Five Guys burger.

Jax is a good old fashioned burger joint. The kind that gives you giant, heart attack inducing burgers along with fries, onion rings, and shakes. They also have above average service and fair prices. The menu includes beef burgers, chicken sandwiches, tenders and more.

We ordered the mushroom and guaca burguers!! So good!! French fries and onion rings were tasty too. Order took a while to be ready, but it was worth the wait. Restaurant is nicely lit and clean. Not crowded at all for a Friday (lunch).

The burger was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. The only problems are they forgot to put on the chili that I asked for. Also, I was asked if I wanted fries or onion rings, but I wasnt informed that they were extra.

They have THE best burgers out of anywhere Ive been in the Houston area. Please dont believe that 1 star rating, the owners are nothing but kind and make you feel welcome. Avoid all the other chains and give them a try!

If you have been to any of the other locations expect nothing less here. However the cajun fries tend to be more seasoned which in my book is a plus. Stop in get a shroom or baja burger and prepare to be stuffed.

Awesome burgers and fries - love the garlic and sweet potato fries. I order often after swim practice - food is always fresh and good. Melissa is so helpful. This is my favorite burger joint in this area!

Stopped for lunch on my way to Austin. The burgers were good and the staff were friendly. The only negative was that it was a little warm inside even though there were two stand up fans in the seating area.

My son and I went and really enjoyed it. Certainly one of the best burgers on the north side. The buffalo fries with blue cheese dip were well worth the extra 80 cents.

The burger was simply AMAZING! Staff was very friendly. Onion rigs were too much crust and not enough onion. Fries were a bit salty. Great place overall
