smashburger is awesome, just not THIS one. Ive thought long and hard about whether i should give this location 2 or 3 stars, and Ill explain. my wife and i have gone to this location several times without issue, we both love smashburger, think its a great chain restaurant, but every time weve gone (with the exception being this evening) had been when the place has at least 4 groups of people other than ourselves dining. this evening, we went later than usual, about 8:45, everyone else finishing their meals and leaving, we were clearly going to be the last people served for the day. the food was tasty, as to be expected, nothing appeared to be out of the ordinary, aside from my wifes burger patty being a bit poorly formed (sort of came apart following the first bite honestly, which i found to be kindof funny). once we got home, however, after about an hour and a half to two hours, we were both suddenly REALLY nauseous, my wife had to run to the bathroom, on the verge of puking, ended up taking some of her nausea medicine from her recent pregnancy ( we have a 6mo old son). she went to sleep after that, right as rain, though she mentioned that she found it really strange that we both felt sick at the exact same moment so intensely. about an hour later, shes peacefully sleeping, but Im still awake, feeling terrible, Ive actually resorted to taking one of her anti-nausea pills from the pregnancy as well, and am currently pacing around downstairs in our apartment, hoping that my stomach will settle and the medicine will take effect for me soon (shes half my size, so of course, everything takes effect in less than half the time). looking back, because we were clearly the last patrons they were going to have, Im led to believe our food was improperly prepared. Ive had food poisoning before, and know that it comes on very sudden and is very intense. the meat was thoroughly cooked, but Im guessing that since we got the impression that they were annoyed we were there, that they had already started cleaning up, meaning the grill. i thought hard about giving 3 stars, since this is the first time that something like this has happened, and all our other visits have been pleasant, but just for the fact that we both deemed it necessary to take extremely powerful prescription nausea medication after eating there this evening, this experience has pretty much ruined that location for me. it sucks because its the location closest to us, the next closest being about 20 minutes further, but Id be willing to make that trip and burn the gas needed in my truck to keep from having to go through this again. smashburger is awesome, for those who have had it and especially those thinking about giving it a try, dont let this review deter you from giving their food a try, because it really is great tasting. THIS LOCATION however, i would strongly recommend you steer clear of, especially dont make this your dinner choice if it looks like youre the last ones to be served, lol by the looks of the other reviews, the food isnt lacking, but the service blows (something very clear to me now), so as far as this location goes, you arent going to be missing much. do NOT count on a quality meal after the dinner rush, avoid at all costs if youre planning on visiting during their final hours. dont count on them being open till 10pmm like their hours list, it really liked like they were trying to close up early when we were there, hence their looking annoyed by our presence at 8:45. go elsewhere, Im telling you, i severely doubt we could be swayed into visiting this location again anytime in the near future.

Today I went to Smashburger for the 1st time and I was amazed at how great my experience was! I tried the Classic Smash burger (reg size) with veggie frites. To start, presentation was very nice; I liked how they presented the burger and sides. I did not wait much for the order to come (1-2pm). Then, I tried it and the flavor was great! Loved all the order! I liked the fact that the only side is not just french fries but veggies, sweet potato fries or even salad. Oh btw, I dont drink sodas so it was great that i found vitamin water as an option. So thats why I am giving them 5 stars! I came in hungry and left with a happy belly and impressed :) I hope the staff continues their hardwork! :)

Ive been happy with this location. Theyve made their menu smaller, with lower prices -- it is now pretty competitive pricing for a quality burger. Their sides are also good, with some choices like fried veggies, along with a couple of types of fries. My one complaint now is that you can still order some of the burgers from their old menu but they havent adjusted the price to go with their new menu; while the manager took care of it, it still is something that needs to be corrected..

First off let me say I love smash burgers food is great but at this location there are some young kids in the back you can hear them goofing around as they make your food and the food comes out sloppy as hell Ive tried three times this is my last time coming to this location management needs to fix this ASAP eat at this location if you want a burger sloppy sloppy sloppy style grease everywhere thrown together like a two-year-old made it

Great food and atmosphere! The server taking our order had quite an attitude and wanted to have a semantics battle the entire time. Seems silly to designate fry sizes Large and Small while the flavors are Regular or Smash. It seems as though the price keeps going up and the portions keep getting smaller. You definitely can find more food of equal quality for the same money, perhaps the Carls next door?

Food was good but thts about it. I called several times 2 get directions- they took over 8 minutes to answer and over 10 minutes to find someone who knew the address. Everytime I call they never answer. Their service sucks! The girls play around too much and theres too many people who stand around while their busy. Oh and dont let Lauren take your order, she always messes it up.

I love the grilled chicken sandwich if I had money for them everyday I would and the smash fries if I could change 1 thing it would be the size of the fries wish they were larger I havent had the malts yet, the staff is always very nice even when its busy lunch time and this is at every location Ive gone to so they really love thier jobs or the pay is good or both

I dont like giving 1 star but were just fed up with this place. Weve tried numerous times so they can redeem themselves and every time they mess up our order. Never fails... This last time everything had something wrong. My husband called back and asked for a refund but nope, management could care less. Forget it never coming back again!

This is my first visit to a Smashburger. Absolutely loved the avocado bacon chicken burger and sweet potato fries. Most of the tables hadnt been cleared off, but it was 1:00 on a Wednesday and they seemed short staffed. But the food was so yummy that the messy tables didnt bother me much. Will definitely be revisiting this burger joint.
