DO NOT GO - HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We sat and waited patiently for our order (for only two people) for ~15 minutes and finally called in and asked what was up. The very unenthusiastic (why is everyone commenting and saying theyre all so happy?!?!) said they were waiting for chicken, because the cook had to go to the bathroom (theres only one person who can cook chicken there?! What about the manager, because apparently he was there - see more later). So we waited ANOTHER ~10 minutes and called BACK, because we kept seeing people go in and out and what looked like about a dozen people working there. He said was gonna check for us, came back, & said "our manager says itll be another 4-5 minutes." Call me crazy, but half an hour for some fried chicken at a fast food joint is insane. We cancelled our order to a half-assed at best "sorry bout that..." and left, they didnt even offer to comp it. I really think now that the good reviews of this place must be the employees and management.

So disappointed with the customer service that I received this evening waited in drive-through for over 21 minutes as I try to get their attention since they where just standing there talking from what I can see i hand to flag them down ask what the holdup was no one knew what it was until another woman said waiting on three cookies told them to substitute it with something else they gave me one roll then I get home theres no sauce No straws and missing our macaroni and cheese not a happy mommy right also have three very unhappy children

We got there 30 mintues before close. We sat there for 5 minutes after they took he car ahead of us order. After that we drove up to window a gentleman comes to window and opens it. Proceeds to tell us that he is the head cook and he wont be cooking anymore chicken. Really 25 minutes to close and your not cooking anymore chicken because you has a baseball team come in. Sounded more like he was done working than anything. We drove 20 minutes one way for that.

So disappointed in this place, I ordered the gizzards with fries and literally the bottom of the box was cover with oil...All the food was swimming in oil, probably the oil is too hot and they dont take the time to shake the grease out, it should be against the law to feed this to a human being.....Talk about a heart attack in a box!!!! SO DISGUSTING!!!!! . I will NEVER eat at this place again or recommend it to anybody!!!!

This particular Chicken Express location is one of the fastest, cleanest, and Best managed restaurants that I have been to. Also, it is ,by far, one of the best places to eat in the Longview area. you should give it a try I promise that you wont be dissappointed. ***BTW; there sides are phenomenal. My favorite sides are the fries and mashed potatoes with white gravy. they truly are exceptional.!!!

You get a lot of (really good) food for not very much. The service is incredible, the employees are just so nice. Once, I went in with friends and didnt plan on buying anything. One of the employees came over and gave me a free drink because I wasnt eating anything. It was very nice. Its definitely my favorite place to get chicken.

I used to love it but lately theyve been screwing up our orders several times we have gotten mashed potatoes instead of fries or we pay for extra roll and dont get it we ask for light ice and no gravy and they dont listen. If you dont take more care with peoples orders it wont matter how good the chicken is theyll stop coming.

This location doesn’t give breaks to its employees. They will give you a break only if your scheduled for more than 8 hours that day! So you have to stand and run around 7 to 8 hours a day and not even get a five minute break, CRAZY. I have somewhat of a problem eating at a place that doesn’t give their employees a break.

i abouslutley loved their service.Very friendly. I recomend going there. The manager met us the first day my family went. We came back the following week and he remember us. I say just to go there and try it. Because its awesome!!!!! I LOVE it. Very good food and gravy..Yummm !!! I think im going there tomarow.

Fresh juicy chicken. All their food is so fresh and I love their staff. Just talking to them they love their job and you can tell, we had never had the hush puppies before (she said they were her favorite) so she got one for each of us to try. They are delicious! We plan to get them next time.

There was nothing "express" about my last visit. There was a 15 minute wait in the drive-thru. Finally got to the window and my order wasnt in their system. Ordered unsweet tea, got sweet tea. Ordered a biscuit, got a roll instead. Only good thing was the food.

Almost always have nice interaction with employees here. I love their fried pickles and the catfish. Just recently discovered that they have really good chocolate chip cookies, too. We often buy bags of ice and gallons of tea here, too.

I waited for almost 30 minutes for my order, but they more than made up for the wait by giving me 20 gizzards instead of the 9 I ordered. This is how you make up for a mistake in service. Good job!!!

Love just about everything on the menu from the chicken to the okra to the mash potatoes. I dont drink tea but everyone I know that drinks tea that comes here says its really good.

Dont get me wrong, the food is great. Just dont go during lunch hour without calling ahead. The drive-through is packed to capacity everyday, and drive-in is... problematic.
