Awful sums it up. No customer service. Below are more details. Their buffet is advertised a lot on local radio. So stopped by yesterday (Sunday) afternoon with family at noon. Only 3 tables were occupied. That should have been my cue to leave, but attributed it to being too early. Stood at the counter for 3-5 minutes before getting any help. 1 lady was checking out the sweets, 1 lady was staring at the printer/fax (not sure if she was sending or receiving) and another was checking out the stock of food ingredients. Guy making dosas was the only one who really looked busy. The others just did not care. Would have left if it wasnt for my kid already on the toddler high chair. Anyways, heres the menu - idli, vegetable bajji, naan, jeera rice, vegetable rice, saag curry, lentil curry, avial (looked kinda different), sambaar, chutneys, yogurt+onion, onion+cucumber salad and gulab jamun. BTW, this is the least choice I ever saw in an Indian buffet. Review by item... Idli was good, but chutneys were bland. Sambaar was ok. Vegetable bajjis were good. Naan was dry and flaky sitting on there for too long I guess. Jeera rice was good - but none of the curries had any taste - so nothing to eat the rice with. The vegetable rice was oily and no taste whatsoever. Gulab jamun was good. We just ate the idlis, vegetable bajji and gulab jamun. Had to pick up food on the way back home - so it was a definite waste of time / money. Recommendation to owner: Please try your buffet once.

The absolutely worst service I have ever encountered in my entire life. The cashire acts as though she is superior to all human beings and that it is an honor to get eye contact from her. I went to the store at 8:50PM with my family, situated at a booth and I proceeded to order some sweets. When I got to the line the cashier was ignoring me and finally said that they were all going home. I had been in the store for 8 minutes, the "OPEN" sign was still on.. yet the cashier had checked out. She was the most brazenly rude woman I had ever met in my life. I have chills in my body from the experience. I was holding my 2 year old daughter in my arms, I was in the store 10 minutes before the posted closing time, the OPEN sign was still lit... couldnt she have sold me 1 ledu? I will never go here again... and by the way.. this is the second time in a row that the horrendous cashier who obviously blames the world for her lot in life ignored me and I left without being served. No one should visit this place and enable this sort of behavior. It should not be tolerated... period.

This place is a serious black spot among all the Indian eateries in Dallas TX. I went in Friday at around 4pm.The lady at the counter Sagarika was trying to hard sell kachori which were all burnt down...she tried many kachori pieces but they were all burnt. Samosa were all stale and bad in taste. Later I bought sweets and she charged me $1 for the box. Never encountered this kind of Indian eateries in my life. It seems they dont care about customer service and reputation. They are on the mission to make money by doing least possible work.

Worst Indian food around. Which is tough to achieve given there is an Indian joint every 100 meters on MacArthur. Parathas are all taken out of their frozen packs right in front of you and thrown on to the tava. 6$ buffet: They said I could only eat one Dosa, which was the only edible thing in the buffet. Other notable thing was Idli, it was probably a day old. Rest was forgettable and forgivable. Chhole Bhatura: Too oily and fluffy bhatura. Completely fry Chhole. Tried "some" sweet, it was too old.

By hearing all good reviews myself and wife visited a week back and ordered Panipuri and Papidi chat. Seems like the master is not there one lady has prepared it. Having one bite we found the Aalu kurma used to use in Panipuri got spoiled and it is tasting very bad. Papidi chat is too worst just dahi dahi .... though i clearly mentioned spicy. If you real food lover find someother place.

I would have been given 0 rating if it would have available, no ethics, rude, says begging NO NO NO NO its already closed before the closing time. It actually closes at 9PM at the Sunday Night, I gave a call at 8.50PM exactly, and they said a very big NOOOOOO in a very loud voice. Royal SUCKS....

other than sweets as the name suggests it doesnot taste good for buffet type of food. royal restuarant people are also not intreted in buffe on saturday and sunday. the food is up to its baddest taste leaving friday morning. not worth of your 10.81$. Skip it and have some Subway or Chipotle

Nice place for DOSA,CHOLE BATURA,CHATS. They have lot of good sweets like Julie , rasmalai, milk cake,chum chum,mothichoor ladoo. They have a very good option for tasting any sweet before taking.. they have a good customer service too..nice place I liked it.. thank you royal sweets..

I bought 3 samosas to go the curry inside samosas was rotten giving smell just noticed after reaching home as drove back 30 miles could not return back. Also noticed Rest rooms were not having door locks scared to use rest rooms due to lack of privacy i would never go there

Holy mother of onions. Almost every time I order something, its full of raw onions. Try eating pani puri with a bowl full of onions and maybe 2 chickpeas lmao. Crap service. There are better places for the same price and in the same area. Dont waste your time lol

Food I ordered smelled stale. I asked to make the chaat spicy and the lady dumped a load of sriracha sauce and green chutney in bulk into the bowl.. i had to throw it away because it tasted so horrible after that. Hygiene is a big problem here.

Good for sweets. If you have buffet, remember to get your favorite dosa made, as it is included. Buffet can be cost effective than ordering individual dosas.
