My family and I wanted to eat at a fancy place with good and tasty food , so we were starving after a long day shopping at the Irving mall since the mall does not have a lot of food choices to pick from , so we picked this place because it was close to the mall and we wanted something better and more expensive , but our experience today was so disgusting because my mom found 2 eyelashes in her toscana soup , and the bread was not that hot and it was a little hard on the sides , and then when they brought the main plate her "chicken flat bread" ( it looked like a rectangular pizza ) was burned on the sides and it did not look like the one on the picture! When we were almost about to eat , there were 4 teen girls with a large family seated next to us celebrating a birthday and suddenly they started screaming because they saw a rat running through the whole restaurant and it had stopped close to their and our table , and so they called the manager she came to our table and she felt so embarrased and apologized very nicely and gave our dinner to us at no cost and she said they will call pest control to kill it right away, anyway my mother and I did not eat our main dinner plates, my dad and my sister ate half of it because they were very grossed out and we lost our appetite ,but my mom screamed outside of the restaurant when we left because she was so terrified of thinking about the rat ,when we left we did not even want to eat or drink anything at home because we were so grossed out, and at the end of the day they had packed the food for us to take home , but we were so grossed out that we had to throw it away. What a shame because to think this is a restaurant of high quality and expensive food and for that to happen is a total shame and they just lost valuable customers like us forever! and from now on my mom will have to cook on weekends too.

When I arrived, I went to the bar as I always do for a late lunch. Two of the table tops were occupied, the third was open but had a glass, papers from straws, and a bread basket. There were two ladies near the Togo stand watching. One of them was my server last time, she was great. I asked if I could sit there, and she cleaned it off for me. A gentleman came over who turned out to be my server. He was okay for the most part. The tables to the left and right of me cleared out soon after I was greeted. They both remained dirty for the duration of my meal. Another guest was later escorted into the bar by the host and when she picked a table top, the host says, "Oh, you want this table?" The guest said yes and he replied, "Well Id have to clean it for you." The guest waited for him assuming he was going to clean it, as he walked away and came back. He then repeated himself about having to clean the table. Finally the lady relented and went to the bar top where she waited to be greeted. While in earshot of myself and the previously mentioned guest, the host and another server have an exchange about them not "being hired as a busser so they wont be cleaning the table." I have done both of those jobs and found it extremely unprofessional that they would have the conversation on the floor in front of patrons. Also, the tables had been dirty well over thirty minutes and are probably still dirty now that I have left. The pace of service was slow for the amount of traffic they have right now. As I left the host and two other servers sat idlely near the entrance. I said goodbye to him specifically and he said nothing as I left. Usually they open the door or at least bid you farewell upon leaving. Oh well. None of the lot meandering around the restaurant doing nothing would fare very well at the airport. I hope they get it together.

My husband & I went to the Olive garden in Irving Mall. We arrived at approximately 9:45PM. Two other couples arrived at the same time as us. There was not any wine glasses, napkins or eating utensils on our table. The waiter arrived at our table and very impolitely asked "if we knew what we wanted and if we wanted anything to drink" and did not introduce himself. Since we usually eat at Olive Garden at least one time a month, we placed our order. We asked that the soup be heated "hot" since it is usually lukewarm. when the waiter brought the soup, one bowl of soup was hot and the other bowl was barely warm. My husband asked the waiter to heat the soup up and the waiter commented that it was as hot as they serve it, so my husband told him that he would rather not have the soup. After this the service became progressively worse. The waiter forgot the lemons, we had to ask for napkins and utensils(which he took from the table across from us--where two other people were dining. I asked for a manager and was told that the manager would take my aspargus cost off my ticket. When the manager arrived , she offered to put my food in a to-go box(she put it in a bag and sat the bag on the floor), since I told her that my evening was ruined and I no longer had an appetite. I will not be returning to this Olive garden location.

Was at this Olive Garden 3 times this week. First time great experience. Second time amazing bar tender but there was a bug on the counter the whole time starring at me. (Its Texas they have bugs). THIRD TIME Terrible experience, server didnt bring my water out with my meal, ok I let it slide. Then found a part of a PLASTIC BAG in my salad while I was chewing on it (Ok, it happens). Manager came out and apologized and said he would talk to his team about it. You would think the rest of the night you wouldnt have any issues but server didnt fill up my water for over 30 minutes. It was almost closing time, they didnt have many people there. Then to finish it all off they asked if I wanted a free desert because of the plastic bag but I said no (wasnt too hungrey after the plastic bag) then i paid full price the meal and no further mentioning of compensation. Didnt seem right.

Been here several times to the same location. Depends on the server you get. Tonight we had a server who wantes to rush us in and out. We wanted more bread. He came back said they were making fresh bread and it would be 4 min. Well 4 minutes came and went and never got our bread. I even moved the basket around when he came by to check on us and ge still didnt catch on. I have worked for Olive Garden many years ago. Suppose to ask if you want dessert, not that we did. But as stated he wanted us in and out and it wasnt like there were people waiting for a table. He just asked if we would ve paying with cash or CC. We said CC and asked if we knew how to use the Kiosk. We said yes. He said, well there you go. And walked away. No have a good night and thanks. Or come back again. Rude!
