Id like to start with something positive about this place, They didnt overcook the food. The shrimp I got was well cooked, as was my friends chicken was as well. The Vegetables all had a good crunch to them. That being said... the flavors, the textures, the presentation of their food was horrible. You cant bite through the egg rolls without ripping all of the filling out. I sat there chewing the spring roll for several minutes before I could finally finish my bite. Their Pad Thai which is supposed to a spicy dish was syrupy and overly sweet like sweet and condensed milk. My friend who is not a picky eater at all could only stomach two bites before pushing it away and nursing her drink to get rid of the flavor. I had the Szechuan stir fry, and it was baffling. Every vegetable was julienned, so it all had the same texture and feel. What really sealed my dislike of the dish was this overwhelming taste of spicy celery. I love spice, I love really spicy food, and this was on the mild side for me, and thats fine! However, When I get a plate of vegetables, I want to taste them, all of them, not just one of the American veggies in it. Luckily, this dish wasnt as bad as the Pad Thai, I was able to finish their well cooked shrimp, and just under a third of the dish before I couldnt bare it any longer. The staff is really quite friendly and they came around checking on the customers, a group of older American people, and engaged them and handled themselves very personably. I absolutely loved seeing that, but the food was so poor it was inexcusable. When our server saw my friend push her dish away and immediately refuse a box, he did not ask if we didnt like it, or would like something else. He just took the plate and cleared her seat off. Honestly, I should have trusted my gut when we pulled up during peak lunch hours and saw no one else in there except for the kind staff. I will never go again, and I hope you never undergo this trial either.

My husband and I went for dinner today. We live in the apartment complex next door and thought we would try it out. When. We are walking our dogs nearby we can smell the food, and it always smells amazing. When we first walled up I was hesitant because there were no cars (that not usually being a good sign) and after eating there I think it must have been a fluke that only one other couple was there. We did get there around 8pm, so maybe the rush had come and gone. We were greated very warmly when we walked inside and our waiter was so very nice. My husband ordered the chicken fried rice, which he loved! I ordered the Mongolian chicken and it was so good!!! Our waiter gave us this chili sauce which looked very spicy, but wasnt. It was addictive actually! The food was really good, the service was great, and the prices were reasonable. The people sayin its pricy are probably used to really inexpensive low grade Chinese food. At the end of our meal our waiter brought us some orange slices, which we thought was a really nice touch. We will definitely be back!

Pricing: ordered through foodler, and was later called back by Empress of China to inform me the prices I saw were not accurate and that additional funds would be charged. Unprofessional: The staff was friendly, but was carrying around printouts of my credit card as well as security code on the back. I have a problem when a business treats this as standard receipt material and is not kept secure. contents: Wonton soup contained unadvertised shrimp.. Might be good for some, but I am unable to eat things that had seafood or shellfish, so $5 to waste. This was also the first time I have seen edemame served with no salt Portion size would have been appropriate for a lunch, but not a $10 dinner. * Pros: fast courteous delivery * Cons: did not honor pricing, unprofessional, concern of contents

As a fellow dry cleaning owner I have great credibility in reviewing this business. I have actually dropped off clothing here when I"ve been in a time crunch. The reason that I have chosen this place on several occasions is because I know that the owner is actually the spotter and managing agent in the business. It is extremely rare to see the owner of a cleaners actually do the most strenous work associated with dry cleaning and laundry, and this is one of the last places that I know of in the metroplex. Their laundry cycles are excellent.....the dry cleaning is done properly, and the pressing is well above average. The lady at the front desk is very polite and kind, and always accomodating. If I could give 6 stars I would..... anyways try them out if you get a chance......

I LOVE EoC!! This is my go to for Chinese food every time! Their food is well cooked and very fresh. The only issue Ive ever had was once I got a single overcooked crab ragoon out of the half dozen and on a separate occasion, my pad thai noodles were overcooked. Other than that, you cant go wrong with their menu. My regular dish is the shrimp pad thai and if youve never had it? Its even better the next day from the fridge. I also love their soups, their beef dishes are amazing, their seafood is divine, and the portions ARE GIANT. The delivery is always prompt and when you call or when they drive up to the door, its like they know you :) And I love it.

My wife and I are frequent panda express customers and were feeling like Chinese food, so we went to try it out, the reviews were good and we love Chinese food, so we went on Friday afternoon. The food was amazing and the service was also way better than I could have asked for! We didnt finish it all, so they gave us a take-out box, and offered us extra rice to go with our leftovers for free! We got an appetizer, two meals, and drinks and it cost us about $34. I will DEFINITELY be going back and would definitely recommend this place to ANYONE!

After exhausting all my efforts in calling "the other" places in Irving with either not getting through, being closed on Sundays or just flat out disgusting food, I did a Google search and Empress popped up. Ive gotta say it really is the BEST weve had in many many years and the gentlemen that answers the phone is phenomenal! We are extremely happy we "accidentally" found them! I couldnt rate the decor as we have only ordered delivery. p.s. I never write reviews... EVER... so thats how impressed I am with them! Hope this helps!

I ordered there twice the first time i sent the food back, So i thought i would give them one more chance i even had the manager make the food i must say the hot and sour soup is decent, and the fried dumplings are good, but the orange chicken is still terrible, and the price was out of this world. I must say i have learned my lesson, never again. If anybody noes a place that delivers decent chinese food in Coppell that would be amazing. Thanks, Karen

Food was exceptionally good. Delivery time was half what was quoted. The problem is the price. On two occasions, weve ordered two entrees and an appetizer for two and the bill ended up being almost $40. Both times, the entree was small even though we were charged for a dinner portion and both times we received a single order of rice rather than enough for both entrees. Great food, not much value for the buck.
