I usually really enjoy Chicken Express, but I wont be back to this one. A few months ago my wife and I ordered a 7 piece tender meal to share, when we got home it only had 5 tenders in it. We also asked for seasoning salt and they were out. Relatively small issues, not too big of a problem and not really worth messing with. Today I ordered a 4 piece tender meal and asked for seasoning salt and ketchup with it. When I got to the window I was told that the condiments are in the box. I get to my office and open the box, it only has 3 tenders and no condiments in the box. I also ended up being short on change, the cashier handed me a wad of cash with change and receipt wrapped up in it and they had a long line, so I just set it on my console and drove away instead of counting it, when I was putting everything away I discovered that I was $0.18 short. Not huge, but combined with being shorted on chicken it is a little irritating.

Bad experience, Never been to this place before I pass by through everyday on my way in to work and home i read the review and i decide to give the try it was a mistake I pull up to the drive thru I ordered the 2 piece fish I asked them what kind of fish was it she said hold on i need to Ask then I asked if I could had gone to the drive in she said she couldnt hear me to repeat I repeated 3 times to I decide to tell her never mind I than parked at drive in push the button for service waited 10+ minutes no answers I already had spent 5 minutes in drive thru, so I decide to call no one answer the second tried they did but asked to to hold on a moment I waited 17 minutes on hold by then I had already driven to another place to give me something else to eat I decide to hang up I found this to be very unprofessional and very poor customer service I guess I will never find out the taste because I will never return.

Worst experience Ive ever had at this location. Normally love it. Today I went to get dinner with my mom and ordered a #1 & #8. It took us ringing them again at the stall a second time to finally get our meal after 18 min. When we got home the #8 only had 7 pieces of chicken (missing a leg) and the mashed potatoes didnt have the gravy. They also only had two rolls, which Im not sure if that is standard, but it seems like thats not a lot for a family meal. Everything was also just kinda warm. When the food eventually came out the delivery person said everything was in there and correct but then asked us how much it was because he didnt know. Kinda an off putting experience and will think twice about going back.

Terrible. The girl who took my order was rude after I asked her about the 13 minute wait for fish. After I asked, she offered a free drink for the wait...a whole $0.92! Then I sat and watched her in the drive thru as she proceeded to talk about me to the other crew members. The guy who took my payment and gave me my drinks did not greet me and was rude as well. The wait was more like 30 minutes! I will not be coming back here again as I do not feel like being treated poorly, but I guess its only chicken express so I shouldnt have such high expectations. The only bright spot was Daniel as he was extremely kind.

The Coppell location is very fast and USUALLY serves hot, fresh food. However, the last 3 times ive visited my food was kind of warm. The tough part is my 3-piece chicken tenders have gotten smaller and smaller in size. Today I went and all three were the size of my fingers. I felt like Id wasted $5 bucks! Dont go between 1:30-3:00pm or you will get "short" changed like I was.

Had such a great experience. Chad took our order for the office luncheon and everything went well. They were able to provide us with our food in a timely manner at such a short notice during their busy lunch hour. Thanks Chad and the chicken express team for awesome service and food!

Updated review: Have been back multiple times since my initial one star. Each time has been better than the last. Chicken is better seasoned and prepared, sides are fresher, staff more friendly. Turned into quite the nice little chicken joint.

Chicken is never hot or fresh. And the fries taste like they have been sitting for hrs. Bad location i would not recommend. Maybe i go at the wrong times like 3 to 4 but thats no excuse. The Carrollton location is a lot better

Used to be great! Past couple months terrible! 20 minute wait twice though not busy! Lost my order while I sat at window! Today, out of breasts at 7:00 pm and food not hot and chicken old! Obviously management change!

Good chicken tenders if you get them fresh. The service at this location is always slow so dont expect to be in and out quick. The sweet tea is as good as it gets if you were raised in southern sweet tea.

I was just in your drive thru on 5/20 and ordered a #1. The chicken strips were fried so hard and dry that I couldnt even eat them. The roll and white gravy was cold. I was so disappointed.

The staff is very good especially the manager who gave us two extra chickens as compensation for waiting. Their iced tea and rolls are very good as well. We will definitely go back here

Sodas were flat so we asked for new ones, they did not change the syrup so we got flat sodas again. Food was good!
