We recently visited the Cast Iron for a birthday party. We had a very large party and reservations were made. Our server was the sweetest lady, she was constantly running for us. She mentioned she was supposed to have help with our party but her second person bailed on her. She still did exceedingly well by the overwhelming amount of people we had there, and she did it all with a cheerful smile and while seemingly having fun with us. I was very pleased with our restaurant experience. This place also has a bar that we migrated to after the younger crowd of our party headed home. The bartender, a younger gentlemen was by himself. He had a few other patrons before we bombarded him. He did well to keep up with our demands and even looked like he was having a good time too! One of our party even said he offered to drive the remainder of us home to ensure we get to our destinations safely. Im so happy with the service and hospitality we were shown. Such great people to have employed for you, Cast Iron. Dont lose them.

Nice looking place, but the food is just ok and the service was slow, even though there was only us and 2 other people in the place, and they had their food when we walked in. Ordered the Slow Burn burger, sounded good so I ordered it Medium rare. Took a long time considering no one else was in the place, but I figured give them a chance since it was our 1st time there. When it finally came it was cooked Well done and it was missing the ingredients listed on the menu. Not good and needless to say the waitress came to check after I was half way through, so I figured the heck with complaining since I didnt want to wait another 1/2 hour for another one. Wont go back.

Have been in there twice, and both the food and service was excellent. The first time it was just the two of us. Had there meatloaf, I highly recommend this. It was delicious. Also had the Sirloin steak, it was a great cut of meat and done to my order. The second time was with a group of 10. They did a excellent job on the food and service. Everybody was happy with what they ordered. Will definitely go back! Good food, good service and the pricing was not out of line! GREAT JOB !

The atmosphere is very wonderful, the layout is very nice, and the staff/ our service was really exceptional. We came in as a group of ten, and they took care of everything we needed. The food was incredible! Very fresh and it didnt taste like frozen bar food, but food from a high quality restaurant. I recommend the chicken sandwich with their home made potato salad. Others at my table also raved about their burgers and pulled pork! We had a great time!

Dave and Sam give fantastic service and remember your name and what you like. Fantastic bloody Marys! If you love a little heat and great flavor, the grilled cream cheese and bacon wrapped jalapenos are àmazing! The overall menu started out basic and, as they promised, it has evolved and changed. Maybe the portions on main entrees could be larger but, keep in mind, these item arent just regular "bar food" the same as 95% of other places.

Very nicely designed bar and restaurant. The staff was pleasant and the prices are fine, BUT as others say some of the food needs to be improved. I had a burger which was fine but it was over done and lacked flavor , yet the battered fries I had were excellent. Others at my table had the same to say. I also didnt receive any water refills since the waitress didnt bother to look or ask. All in all mix experience. Good and bad

The food and beer selection is pretty good. The service is definitely below average. The servers are respectful, but painfully slow. The bar area was about 1/4 full, and it took about 15 minutes to get a beer and order our food. This has happened the last 2 times weve come here. Its nice to have a local watering hole, but youll definitely be parched between beers.

Twin Cities Prices...uninspiring atmosphere...and wait staff that did not know if the burgers were pre-made frozen patties (they tasted that way)...they had to ask the chef. Im a local and wish this place was nearly as good as every country bar and grill in this area...sadly it doesnt come close.

Its kind of away from town, but it is very nice inside. The staff was nice and attentive, and the food was good. A bit fancier than youd think, but not anything youd have to dress-up for either.
