My group likes hanging out here on Fridays because pitchers of beer are cheap and the karaoke is always a blast. The bartender is super nice and Im pretty sure he owns the places because hes the only person I have ever seen working there. They have a wii set up on a huge projection screen a few pool tables for those who dont karaoke. The only things Id change would be the girls bathrooms(You have to flush them in a weird way) and the strip club next door. I always seem to have to walk past it in order to go inside. They have excellent parking in front and behing the building. I have never gone without finding a parking spot. I LOVE CELLAR BAR!

The young barback was very rude and started to speaking inappropriately to me before I finished my pool game. I dropped the 8ball on my game at 2:09 which means that I finished playing five minutes before I had to leave. He insisted on being very rude to me even though I have until 2:15 to leave the bar. I hope they hire a staff that knows how to treat customers in the future. They made fun of my bartender so I tipped 50% cause his coworkers were so mean to him and rude to me.

The bartenders at the Cellar take care of you ! Either its Anthony, Tony, Travis, Laura or even the owner Ryan. They will treat you like family. Also the prices are good and the environment of the people that go to the Cellar are great ! If you are receiving great service from these guys then.. TIP THEM !!!! They deserve it ! Prices are cheap and great so why not ! By far best chill out spot and go to bar I admire ! Keep up the great work guys !!!

I stumbled into this place many years ago and it has since then and always will be my favorite spot in Houston. <3 I do wish they would bring back Karaoke but even without it, it is an excellent atmosphere. Bartenders are always super attentive and the crowd has never been an issue in regards to belligerence. Everyone just has a good time. One thing on the menu and thats pizza (I think maybe tombstone, lol). Still, this place has my heart. <3

I have been here twice and have had a great time.Travis is awesome and even remembered I like Ginger beer and added a twist to a cocktail that honored that love. Its a nice ambiance and you always hear people laughing. If you want to come as you are and enjoy a solid time, check it out. I look forward to the next time I come here and will be sure to tell others about this gem on Richmond.

I used to work at Cellar Bar. Its the best. The owner, Ryan, really takes care of his team members and his customers. Its a neighborhood bar where everyone feels comfortable and the drinks are great! Awesome selection of craft beers. Ive moved back to WA (land of craft beers) and I miss the TX craft beers! Miss all you guys at Cellar Bar!!!

Super Great neighborhood bar!!! Super staff, everyone is friendly. The drinks maybe cheap in price but they are great quality! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a laidback bar. The steaks on Sunday are fantastic! The karaoke is always fun! They really make you feel at home and welcome!!! Best bar ever!!!

Its a relaxed environment with some neat daily deals. They have a decent enough range in beers and few good choices for cocktails. Outside patio is a little small, but the place still has plenty of space. Its near my job, the staff is pleasant and the choices are sufficient. Id recommend it to anyone working nearby.

This is a great local bar in Houston that I have gone to both times I have visited. Large selection of bottled beers, good draft list, and some interesting cocktails on the menu as well. Nice place to chill at the bar and enjoy conversation with the staff and the others around you

Great happy hour. Great games. Great music. Edit - last time I came here about a year ago I was more pissed about velvet.... I cant reiterate my 5 stars. The selection of beer on tap is limited, but bottle is good. But the old fashion I just ordered makes anvil feel like a dive.

Ive been a regular here for a few years now. The staff is always great. Huge beer selection. Wii hooked up to a projector for playing with friends or strangers. Always interesting people to talk to. Nice outdoor area.
