I went there with a friend today. It wasnt busy at all. We sat at the bar. We ordered food and drinks. I told the bartender we will be stepping outside so I could smoke. I made a point to tell her that we would back so please leave all as it was. I still had Guinness left plus the basket of food was not empty yet. When we returned everything was cleared. I was taken back because as I mentioned there was hardly anyone there so it was not like our seats were needed. I asked the person I guessed was the manager what happened. She, I can only characterize as flippantly, that they did not know we were coming back. Well, one, they still had my card I was hoping to run a tab on, and two we told the bartender we would be back. Her response to my unfinished beer was a small pilsner that I guess made up for my lost Guinness and that the bartender I specifically told we would be back saw used napkins in the basket so she threw the remaining fried seafood and fries away. The assumed manager made it clear she would not replace the food. I made it clear that even though I was looking forward to returning Tuesday for trivia night that I now knew I would never return. She honestly did not care. I asked for the check and for MY CARD THAT THEY STILL HAD WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST CLUE THAT WE WOULD BE By BACK on top of the fact that I declared we would and we left. I apologized to my friend for picking the place. Yeah so buyer beware.

This place has amazing food and a lot of healthy options. I got my favorite beer Belhaven Scottish Ale and just had a baked Salmon with seemed vegetables my wife had the special a Fishmans pie that has crawfish, shrimp and tilapia mixed with seafood cream sause, topped with scalloped potatoes and cheddar cheese then baked. She loves their chicken pot pie and a order of fried pickles. They make a real good buffalo burger and their beer selection is awesome. The staff is always friendly and helpful when is comes to not being able to make up your mind on what to get. I have always liked this place but I am just now getting around to posting about it.

I come here very often and I like it. The appetizers on their menu are all very good and come in large quantities. Their pizza is also very good (Thursday is 1/2 of pizzas!) They dont have the biggest beer selection however they have enough beers to keep things interesting. The crowd is usually lively and I love their music selection! They have different events on weekdays such as trivia, karaoke, etc. My only complaint about this place is that the service is pretty slow. The staff are all very nice but not the most professional. If service is a big deal to you, Id just keep that in mind.

I come here pretty much every Tuesday for the trivia night thats hosted by Question One Houston. Its always a fun time. The food? Some are good, some are okay, some are just bad. Pretty much your typical bar food. Its a rarity to find dishes that are delicious, though. Most are just average. They have double patty burgers and single patty burgers. The double burgers supposedly use frozen patties while the single burgers use fresh ones. Order the singles. Im a fan of fried pickles and I would not order them here because theyre just that bad. Come here for the trivia, not the food.

Came to this bar with the girlfriend to have some drinks after a long day at the office. Customer service was good, I have no complaints. The beer selection was pretty large. Anybody should be able to find something they will drink. We started off with a 1/2 order of chicken nachos and they were massive. It was a little plain, just chicken, cheese and chips. We asked for sour cream. Would have been much better with the normal fixings of jalapenos and guacamole. We then split a delicious chicken wrap. It is definitely worth a visit if you have never been before.

Their beer selection is way ahead of most other silly bars. This is the main reason I love this place. And their food is not bad either if you know what to order ;) (fried pickles, pizza, hummus is too dry). Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Clean bathrooms. Amazing bartenders that all seem like people I would be friends with. All around very good choice for a place in almost any scenario and any amount of people. Ive been coming here for over a year now and it is one of my favorite bars of all time. It is a staple in my group of friends.

Had my wifes birthday party here this past Friday Night. It was my first time coming out to this bar. Very impressed with the 2 young ladies that served our guests. We had over 40 people attend the birthday party. These young ladies did a good job with all our orders. We took up a good part of space there and everyone was well accomadated. I have to admit I was surprised by the service and atmosphere of the bar. Big thumbs up for making it a memorable occasion.

Staff was very nice, ice tea was good and customers seemed nice as well. Ive eaten here before and enjoyed it. But whatever you do, do NOT get the ribeye steak. Its was super thin, super gristly and had no seasoning at all. I had to use salt and paper to make it palatable. And the peas had absolutely no taste at all. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is due to the wait staff. The cook needs to stop doing the minimum and have some pride in their work.

Hands down #1 pub in a 20+ radius miles, Service at its finest, most professional and friendly bartenders in the entire Houston, Texas metropolitan. A very impressive manu with special twist for every day of the week, karaoke on Friday... And DO NOT forget one the largest, freshest draft beer selection in the city in or out side the loop. Make a long story short.... If you havent been here... Its like you have never drinked a beer in Your Life!

Been going to this little spot for years, great friendly staff, good food and a nice variety of beers on tap + a fully stocked bar. A few tvs are spread all over showing all the major sports and they have daily specials for just about every kind of person imaginable. Check this place out if you want a chill time hanging with friends/coworkers or come and make new friends. Avoid Friday nights if you dont like loud drunken karaoke!!!

This used to be a friendly joint. But recently the service has turned really bad. We went in and as usual headed to a table, but the waitress moved us because her friends walked in just behind us. She said she would clean up our table but spent another 10 minutes chit chatting with her friends. We left and called the manager who put us off by asking us to call back and speak to Tommy who is the owner when they arent busy.

This place has a good crowd. I probably wont return, the bartenders should learn customer service. Not only was the service slow but some of the staff lack common sense... It wasnt quite 2 am yet and I ordered a drink from one bartender and the other bartender working says its after 2 we cant serve you while he was pouring a drink for someone else. If its after 2 for me then it should be after 2 for everyone.
